Wonderful view. Low price for kids($ 5 if under 12). $ 19 for 12 to adults. Limited but adequate food selection: Hot food: Scrambled eggs, eggs made to order, good quality bacon, sausages, hash browns(two types), oatmeal A few types of pastries, which were of reasonable quality. Cut fruit, cereal in a box. Fresh juices, coffee. For adults, you’re paying for the view.

Came here on a Tuesday at 10:30am for breakfast with hubby. Missed their buffet which ends at 10. We ordered one crab cake benny(3.5-stars — ok crab cakes but over cooked york), one smoked salmon benny(3.5-stars — over-salted), two teas(–1-stars for charging $ 3 each and giving us the cheapest, most tasteless Stash teabags). We were their only guests for the next hour that we were there which was sort of nice but then the(lack of) ambience of the restaurant and noise from staff kinda killed what could have been a romantic setting. Bill came to $ 50 but then we were charged another $ 9 for parking(one hour validation, but we just went over). Yes, I knew we were gonna be pay for the(so-so) view, but honestly the overall experience was underwhelming for what we paid. Hubby’s opinion: «overpriced cafeteria on the top of a hotel».

The breakfast Buffett is very good with one of the best views of the Puget Sound in Seattle. I have been eating here every morning for a week and have had morning discussions with the Hotel manager almost every morning. The service and attitude of the staff has been outstanding!

I have only been here for the breakfast buffet but, I have no complaints. Spendy for a simple buffet at $ 20 but seeing as how it’s in a hotel and at the top of the hotel(read as a very nice view) you kind of expect it. Standard breakfast fare, eggs, meat, bread, potatoes, and fruit. You can order an omelette from the waitstaff if you want one. I did and it was good. View was excellent. Waitstaff was efficient but nothing to brag about.

Great views of the city… but that’s about it! Food was average & over priced… & the service is average at best… other than a great view you need good food * the $ 22.00 bacon and egg breakfast was ridiculous. Just my two cents.

Free appetizers for hotel guests until 7pm. Go up there for some quiet time, nice views, and free wi-fi.

Breakfast review: Don’t do it! Clearly this is a restaurant that survives off business travelers with an expense account, who want the convenience of a breakfast in the hotel. The service was very polite and prompt, and the view from certain tables is great on a clear day. The buffet breakfast was mediocre and overpriced. In a town that is currently crazy for fresh, local, seasonal, and quality cuisine, Top of the Hilton is bucking the trend. For $ 27(!) your choices include: –mediocre potatoes o’Brien –mediocre scrambled eggs –continental breakfast items on par with a Motel 6, including dry, mediocre bagels and a toaster that hardly works. –mediocre lox –no omelette station –no eggs Benedict –no waffles or pancakes –some okay sausage and bacon Hilton might get a pass from me if I could say I was paying for the view. But for reasons I cannot fathom, the hostess walked me past many open tables with great views, and sat me at a booth where the view of the water was blocked by a column. When your main draw is your incredible view, and the restaurant is half full, why would you take your guests to a table with a blocked view? I just don’t understand it. What I would do if I were a visitor is cross the street to the Daily Grill at the Sheraton. The ambiance is nicer, the service is better, the food is better, and the prices are lower. Then, when you are full, go up to the Top of the Hilton, order a cup of coffee, and enjoy the view.

I agree with previous reviews — the cost of your meal isn’t just for the food. The money goes to the fantastic view you’ll enjoy while you eat. On a recent stay here, I took advantage of a complimentary meal. I got in right under the wire for their breakfast buffet and got a decent amount of food before they began to clear things away. One nice thing was the server brought me a takeaway carton and I loaded up with a dizzying amount of fresh fruit for the remainder of my hotel stay. I don’t know if I’d go here simply for the food. I found their colour coding menu to be simple and easy to navigate. The quality of the food was okay, nothing to write home about. It was the usual overpriced fare that you’d find at a hotel but it was decent enough, just not great.

Great views. The whole city closes down early so this is a great place to watch the sunset. They had free appetizers for guests and the guy filling in for someone else provided EXCELLENT service to all the customers.

Awesome views, but nothing too great about it. Friendly staff, decent mixed drinks, not a lot of choices on beer & wine.

Awesome place to take in views of the city while eating breakfast. Stopped in here Saturday morning. We were seated promptly and had great service from our waiter. My niece ordered pancakes, which our waiter called«sweet, beautiful pancakes» when he delivered them to the table(he was kind of awkward!), BF had French Toast which he devoured, and I had my standard Eggs Benedict, which were really good. I really liked the potatoes served with them, as they had lots of bell peppers in them — yum! The prices were decent, considering it was breakfast at a hotel, it could have been much more.

You are paying for the view. For $ 20.00, I expect good coffee and something a little more interesting than bacon, eggs, and potato. The service was fine but the décor was absolutely repulsive and reminiscent of 1980’s…hotel room. The other half of the dining area had terrible fluorescent lighting and poor quality furniture. Had this breakfast been free, it may have been 4 stars. If I wanted to see the view, I’ll just have tea. If I want to have breakfast, I’ll go somewhere where the chef has a little creativity and integrity to come up with something worth spending $ 20.00 on.

Great view! Prices pretty good, especially during Happy Hour($ 7 for 2 glasses of wine!). Service is also good. While I was there they were not serving food except for complementary appetizers. I did over hear people in the elevator the next day talk about the breakfast buffet but I did not try it. If you’re staying at the Hilton it is worth going up to the top, even if it even just at sunset to watch the sun set over the lake.

Thought I’d try their Continental Breakfast Buffet… and it was good. I love oatmeal — even more so with good toppings, so I added some syrup and a granola-y topping(which had some kind of good, light nut in there as well). Besides oatmeal, just had some fruit and a smidgens of smoked salmon and swiss cheese. Water to flush ‘er down. The promptly-greets-you-off-the-elevator lady had nice smile and put right under the flat screen blaring news. So, I didn’t get a prime view table(most of which were taken), but I tried the buffet and it was okay. Viet(?) waiter had a bit strong accent. And b-rooms were decent.

We got coupons at check-in for the free breakfast buffet so we decided to eat there instead of going out for breakfast. We were seated quickly but were told to wait for our server so she could explain the buffet to us. Apparently, it’s only a partial buffet — if you want omelets, you have to order it from your server and it’s prepared in the kitchen. Also, tea isn’t available at the buffet and has to be ordered from the server who didn’t bring mine until 10 minutes later. A carafe of coffee is placed on your table because that’s not available at the buffet either. The buffet selections are pretty typical — scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, sausage, bacon, some pastries and breads, oatmeal, 2 or 3 fruit choices, cold meats and smoked salmon. We made some choices from the buffet but had to sit around and wait about 10 minutes before we got our omelets. They were ok — light, fluffy eggs, fresh veggies but no seasonings so they were basically tasteless. Thank goodness it was free. Our server never checked on us again after she delivered the omelets. The view up there is great but if lunch and dinner are anything like breakfast, I definitely would not pay to eat there. The free breakfast buffet just wasn’t worth it.

Great food, great view, great service. What else can you possibly ask for? Their sandwiches and northwest style crab chowder was sensational! The price was amazing for the hotel quality service. Ranging from $ 10 to $ 20. Mostly around $ 12. Go there, maybe you might find me there. lol

Super view. Great staff. It’s a once in a lifetime or often opportunity. Happy hour can be packed with really fun, professional people. OKANDTHEYHAVESPECIALSONTHEIRDOUBLES… It has been called a meat market. Breakfast is an open book.

Located at the top of the Hilton Hotel in downtown Seattle(duh). We came here for breakfast(they serve breakfast and lunch) and it was delish. First of all I liked the yummy crackers, bread and spread. Nice surprise since you usually just bread and butter at other restaurants. The waitress and bus boy was friendly. Food came out in a timely manner. You can’t beat the view — especially on a sunny day!
