The Courthouse Café can’t beat for lunch! Food is good, specials are good, staff is nice, prices are awesome. I have not had the salad bar yet, but it looks really good. If you end up there on a day when the sliders are on special, get them, they are great. Everything I have had there has been awesome, and its always less than $ 10.

So cheap and so good! You’d never expect such good food at a courthouse! It’s definitely better than mine back home. The chicken teriyaki is definitely my favorite, and the BLT is not bad either. And the fries are top notch! I definitely miss working in Seattle mostly for this cheap, yet tasty, food.

Well… just another place for quick lunch. But the service is extremely slooooooooooooooooow.

Perfect place to have a made to order, inexpensive breakfast. An omelette, potatoes and toast for $ 7.50, in the city? Unheard of. Nothing fancy, cafeteria style, just good food made fast.

Ever since I started working in the area my boyfriend kept bugging me to try the Courthouse Café. «They have the BEST breakfast burrito. It is SO good.» He’d say. My first attempt to try the café was during the lunch hour. There were so many people everywhere and the setup seemed confusing, so in order to save time I dipped out and went somewhere else for lunch. I eventually made it here for breakfast. It was a Friday morning so there was a lot less people so it was easier to figure out their process.(Order, get receipt, get drink, go pay with receipt and drink, and go wait for your food) I got a breakfast bagel(sausage patty, egg and cheese) that was SO delicious I have craved it on the regular since. The only thing that would take this place from really freakin’ good to AMAZING would be if they added an espresso bar. I’d be a regular Friday morning visitor!

Standard government café. Good place for a cheap and filling breakfast. I prefer the diy salads at whole foods but these are alot cheaper.

Love this place! So much good food and they always have a special of the day, which they put on display in case you’re like me and like to visualize your food. My favorite is the slider special every Wednesday, which comes with 3 sliders and the crispest fries you’ve ever tasted! Not sure what kind of sauce goes on the sliders but man is it tasty. Their breakfast is also amazing as well. I usually get the breakfast burrito which is around $ 5. Everything from the amazing food, cheap prices, friendly staff, great atmosphere(TV playing either CNN or ESPN) and the daily specials will keep me coming back and a loyal customer to this place.

What a great gem of a lunch place! They have a salad bar, some refrigerated snacks and pre-made food and a made-to-order hot foods section. I mostly came here for the latter. They are able to make all the basic sorts of sandwiches you’d want like a BLT or a tuna melt or even a burger. They also have an entrée of the day of sorts. They also rotate their soup offerings. When you order hot food, they give you a number. You can pay at the cash register before or after you receive your order. Then they’ll call out your order/number. Seating is plentiful and the tables always seem quite clean considering how many people come through here. The people who prepare the food are always fast and the cashier is always very nice. The food is beyond decent. In fact, their fries are damn good! Prices are very reasonable.

Here’s my problem with this place: You have too much to choose from and it all taste good!!! …I guess that’s a good problem, yeah? :) But seriously. Everything I try from here is great and always reasonably priced. I usually go once a week and get the chicken quesadilla, but they always have daily lunch specials which I’ve tried and taste great too. Most items are any where from $ 6 – 9. Lunch items are big portions too. Well, big for me, at least. The workers there are really nice and always listen to those of you who are very picky. Oops, I mean, «particular about your food.» :)

Relatively quick decent place to grab lunch for a reasonable price. I have the habit of getting the french dip each time I go(very tasty) but they have a slew of options from cold/hot sandwiches, wraps, pastas, salads, and more. There’s not a ton of good lunch options in this area but this is a good one and the variety definitely makes it key.

A great place for lunch with a decent set menu and also sizable daily special menu. Working in my area, there isn’t a huge selection of lunch places, but Courthouse Café is consistent and always leaves me full. My go to item here is the Western Bacon Cheese Burger. This burger comes with BBQ sauce, 2 onion rings, and bacon. Definitely a tasty and filling burger. I’m also a fan of the fries here.

Stopped by this place today for lunch looking for something quick and easy. I have to give it to them, that they’re quick. I ordered a pico de gallo fish burger, that wasn’t anything special, it came with a heated up frozen patty and heated up frozen fries. I’m not going to say frozen food is bad, but I’m not expecting to pay $ 8 for a dish that consists of pretty much all frozen/store bought items. The soup was flavored okay, but was clearly sitting there for way too long as the pasta and meatballs just instantly turned into mush in my mouth. I don’t think it’s supposed to be like that. Honestly, not bad, but not great either. Everything came out to be around $ 10, and I’ll definitely come back when looking for a quick meal, but for $ 10, I can get much more value at a nearby Specialties/Whole Foods.

Ah the civil duty called, Jury time. I don’t mind it, it’s pretty interesting and I feel more needed than at my normal job. This place is right outside the court house. Sweet. The 1st day I ordered a chicken quesadella. It’s somewhat confusing and I later found out that you are supposed to take your slip up, pay and then come back to get the food. Okay, would have been nice if you would have told me that so I don’t look like an idiot. Decent quesedilla. Lots of chicken. Second day I had the chili. Generic and out of a big can I am sure. Nothing special. They have a really large salad bar that I will plan on checking out when I go back on Monday. They also have pop and bottled drinks. Decent prices for being right by the courthouse.

Great view. Was here for a private party. We got to sit outside on the patio. As with any courthouse nowadays you have to put your stuff through a metal detector and have photo ID.

I eat here once a month or so. I usually end up here when I am under a bit of stress at work and I feel like eating some greasy food. I usually have the tuna melt or reuben sandwich and some fries. The food is good. The sandwich is usually a little greasy as are the fries but when I’m in that mood, it’s great. The guys at the grill work really hard but it always takes a little too long to get your food. The owners are nice. Overall, a nice place. I usually regret it after I eat here though because I know that I probably ate more than my daily allotment of calories in this one meal… until I’m back the following month.

Who’da thunk that such a nifty little eatery would be tucked away in a far corner of the US Courthouse? The US Courthouse Café is close to where I work. I pass by it often, though I waited more than a year before stopping in. My mistake. The first couple of times I went, I just had soup. And, this was fine and good and tasty. Then, branched out to the salad bar. This has a good selection of fresh, quality items — including a decent selection of cold meat and other proteins. Then, I tried the breakfast sandwiches. These are fresh and cooked to order — for about the same price as the pre-fab stuff they have at Starbucks.(In fact, all the prices here are very reasonable — at or below what you’d pay for similar items elsewhere.) I have yet to try the lunch specials or sandwiches, but intend to do so soon.(It can get a bit harried here at lunchtime, so, thus far, I’ve stuck to the«grab ‘n go.» But, I do want to check out more of the café’s repertoire.) The staff here are all super friendly and make you feel like they really appreciate your business. I’ll definitely be returning.

Good variety, good quality, and reasonable prices. Cafeteria style. Remember to pay after you order and get your order slip. The cooks prefer getting a paid order slip in exchange for the food. The first time I didn’t know and gotta a «look» when grabbed for my food. The guy was nice but the look said«Really?». The mushroom swiss burger is my fav. Ordered the enchilata special. The chicken was dry but the enchilata sauce and side of beans covered that up. The pasta primavera with Texas toast special on Friday’s is delicious

I’m hoping this was just an off day, because my co-workers all love this place. Positive: clean, open, light, lots of seating, pleasant smiling workers, good selection, yummy smells, decent prices. The mushrooms on my burger were fresh and not canned, and the fries were that great texture of crispy outsides and fluffy insides. Negative: There’s no sign that explains you order from the grill, go pay, then bring back your ticket to get the food. A little warning would prevent embarrassment. Although the food was hot, fresh, and quickly cooked, the taste was simply so-so. I really couldn’t finish the burger and fries because they seemed coated in salt. The meat itself was very salty and I had to knock a layer of salt off each fry. Otherwise, it would have gotten 5 stars.

The food here is made to order and tastes great! Nothing fancy, just your typical grill items like burgers and quesadillas, but they do it so well. Comes to you piping hot with the right gooey consistency if there happens to be cheese in your dish. I’ve never grabbed food from the salad bar but everything looks fresh and they’re always well stocked. Everyone here has been super friendly and accommodating in cases of special orders. There is also a nice seating area if you have the time to sit and eat. I miss my downtown lunch spot… But not enough to go back to that job!

If you can get past the smoke that billows out of this place it is a good option. For speed avoid the grill and hit up the salad bar.
