This quaint bohemian tea n Chocolet shop is true gem of Sebastopol calif I stepped in little piece of Heaven. As I put the best Chocolet in my mouth it melted and filled my senses up, the really informative tea master educated me on the lovely teas they serve and offer take home

Love this place! They have the best teas in the world and the coziest atmosphere. The chocolate is to die for. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Great service, delicious tea, yummy snacks, everything is organic, what more can you ask for?

Love the muffins they make. LOVE ! Gluten Free Goat CHEESEIS F%$inG! goooooooooood I feel the environment can use a small modern touch but that’s just my taste. Quality Quality the place is great when it comes to the chocolate and the service. I would recommend them hosting events and generating some traffic to mark down the price a bit. It can be pricy but the quality is Obvious I for one don’t mind and understand its a small business. Either way I would pay 20 $ a muffin hahahhahhaha.

I went recently with a friend and was a bit taken aback by a Chai for $ 6+ so I ordered a Sipping hot chocolate which was listed for $ 4.50 but when she rang me up it was $ 6.01 and I said the tax isn’t that much, ect ect. It was served in this small ugly mat mustard colored mug with a chip on the bottom rim. The décor was a bit dingy as well. The Chocolates looked wonderful and I think the teas are more reasonably priced but my experience doesn’t make me want to go back. Sad, I was disappointed, to say the least.

Really good selection of organic teas — green, black, decaf, herb-infused chai, etc. They also have homemade truffles that are amazing — with many delicious flavor combinations, some vegan options and also a really good selection of cookies. I especially like the chocolate-coconut cookie which goes well with any warm tea. Also good seasonal drinks, such as lemonade or hot chocolate specialty drinks.

This place is pretty good. I have only come for tea so can’t speak to the chocolates. The staff is friendly and it has a nice interior. I’d call the pieces fair. The reason that I don’t give 5 stars has to do with how they serve tea, specifically puerh. Drinking puerh can be an adventure of the palate. Traditionally you’d have your tea tray teapot and your gaiwan to pour tea into that has steeped for the desired amount of time. It states of subtle and changes in flavor texture and color until its washed out. Infusions served it all in one teapot. After a minute the tea should be ready to drink. If it sits in the pot it gets waaaaay steeped. Some people might like that however I would expect a teahouse to have the option of traditional service. The nice young woman serving also did not know to pre rinse the puerh to remove tanins, probably because she wasn’t trained to. I think these 2 missing stars could be regained if they offered tea trays and the rest of the equipment, and made sure their staff was a little more knowledgeable.

My mother and I stopped here to enjoy chocolates and tea after a spa day across the street at Bliss. They had the largest selection of organic teas i have ever seen. All of their teas are sourced from Taiwan and Japan(places where you can actually believe/trust the organic certification rather than guess that it was purchased) Don’t go in expecting the same prices that places like teavana charge. You will be purchasing a larger amount of tea of a substantially higher quality from a family rather than a corporation. That said I did not feel the prices were out of line. I had the coconut black tea AKA Sebastapol Crack and cream oolong(beautiful), my parents had lime ginger, and my brother had puehr(probably spelled that wrong) we also had many of the chocolates including maple, chai, cinnamon, lemon thyme brie, costal, orange olive oil, balsalmic, salted caramel, and ginger. My favorites were the balsalmic, the orange and the maple. Oh, and the cookies! A man named Josh was working when we arrived and while we decided on our teas and chocolates he was whipping up something in the windowed kitchen. I asked about it and he offered to bake us some to go with our tea. They were delicious and huge! The atmosphere was awesome too. Josh was super friendly offered is samples and suggestions, helped with steeping times etc, about half way through our visit he clocked off and the owner and his family came on and visited with us for over an hour. We loved this visit it was a highlight of our california road trip!

I really want to like Infusions, but every time I go in there I find the service and quality less than appealing. The staff is haughty and the prices are higher than anywhere else I ever go for comparable tea or snacks.*(By the way, in regard to price, lists this business in the $$ category but it is definitely above the average tea house price and should rate $$$.) I love the fact that they serve organic, as this is important to me, but so is taste. Their house-brewed chai is just meh. If I am going to pay $ 6 for a cup of chai, it ought to taste better, or at least as good as something you can buy prepared next door at Whole Foods. They have their menu posted at but their prices have not been updated — they are charging $ 1 – 2 more per item than as posted. Today, on my way to grocery shop, I was drawn back in by a sign board announcing a daily gluten-free muffin: Rosemary Goat Cheese. When I walked in, the aroma of the rosemary was making me salivate. I couldn’t wait to bite into this savory morsel. Contrary to my expectation, the muffin was sweet — ack! Rosemary and goat cheese do not combine well with sweet. Any baker worse their salt should know this. I actually found myself nauseated. Pity.

While I must say that the tea and chocolate are excellent and of very high quality(we had white needles and gaba oolong iced tea, and balsamic and orange olive oil chocolate), we were absolutely shocked at being charged $ 12 for a cup of iced tea to go. Having been to many wonderful teashops in which I have had incredible organic teas all around the US(and abroad), I could not fathom how a tablespoon of tea warrants that kind of price — or at least, why we didn’t get some kind of warning of how insanely overpriced their iced tea is, compared to anywhere else in America(we didn’t see it in the menu, just walked in the door and asked). Two iced teas and 3 small chocolates were $ 33. $ 33!!! Understood it’s an entirely organic tea shop but really, there’s gotta be a middle ground. Try the Many Rivers bookstore on the corner across the street — they have a great tea selection in the back, as well as many wonderful selections that are organic and charge 1⁄3 the price. And yes, you can re-steep there too(as with any decent tea shop, anywhere in the world).

This place is so pleasant. It can be a little overwhelming trying to choose what tea you want and what combination to do but the staff are ver helpful and knowledgable and you can just ask what they suggest. It is a great place to sit and enjoy because even though it seems a little pricey, it comes in a tea pot and you can re-steep the tea up to 3x so you totally get your money’s worth. You have to spend up to 5 dollars to use your card and all their muffins are gluten free. If you«like» them on FB they give you 20 percent of of select teas.

I have been going to infusions for 3 years now mainly to get bulk black coconut tea(yummmm)!!! The last few times I have been in I have noticed that things have changed, little to no customers and the place in kind of a disarray. So I checked Unilocal to see what’s up after reading some of the not so good reviews and also reading what to owner would post after I found myself in tears. My heart goes out to you and your family and I will always bring my business to you no matter how long it takes.!! Support your local buisness/families yall!

Truffles and Teas! When I’m passing through Sebastopol and fell like a nice treat, this is one of my goto spots. They specialize in high end Teas, locally sourced ingredients and delicious custom dark chocolates and caramels, they pair exceptionally well with wines too!

Cute place. Not the cheapest, but they have a decent selection and cool interior. We rode our bikes here after we got off the Highway 12 bike trail. Instead of a beer at Hopmonk, we opted for pastries instead. I got a chocolate chip cookie, and my girlfriend got something along the lines of a brie lime chocolate truffle. Both good. VERY stereotypical Sebastopol joint.

Oh my. I knew my boyfriend and I needed to take a Sebastopol detour on our trip to the coast when I stumbled upon this gem on Unilocal.Sure glad we did! The people there were pretty nice, and it was a cute establishment. What we really need to discuss, however, is the food and tea. I ordered the vegan polenta and I can’t even begin to describe it’s awesomeness. Actually I can — It was warm, delicious polenta filled with veggies, served on a bed of spinach and arugula, and topped with some incredible pesto. I may be a good cook, but I told my boyfriend that I could only dream to cook up food like that. The flavor combinations were awesome. My boyfriend got the Thai tempeh salad, it was really good too. The tempeh could probably fool a meat eater into thinking it was chicken; my boyfriend does eat meat but he knew it was tempeh(and loves it!). He got a chai tea with milk, thought it was just okay. I got a cup of black nectar tea that was so, so good. I wish I had bought some loose leaf tea to take home, the rose sounded good too. I also got a bag of vegan chocolates for $ 8, it was good but was stale the same day. My boyfriend got five little chocolate for $ 13 and regretted it. Go for the delicious vegan fare and tea, but maybe skip the pricy chocolate.

Eh, I used to like Infusions a lot more. I rarely ever leave Unilocal reviews, but when I do it’s generally because something triggered me enough to bother writing one(whether positively or negatively). I *like* the food there, but I liked the old food better. The ochazuki is wonderful, but as a cranky pregnant lady, I really wish they had their old hand-roll plate, or the baked eggs over lentils. I understand, though, that things change and that’s completely fine(though I am still dreaming about crunchy nori with soft rice, tea-infused mushrooms, carrots, and tofu…) They have delicious teas. My favorite is the black coconut! It’s extra good to get it iced with oat milk, and boba. The service flippin’ sucks. I can appreciate«slow food» and properly prepared tea, but this goes way beyond that. Service has always been slow, and I have gotten used to that, but service should never be slow enough to have to wait over half an hour, from walking in the door to walking out with a small pouch of loose leaf. I WAS going to order a black coconut tea with oat milk and boba(I’ve been craving it for a few days), but it took 10 minutes for the guy behind the counter to notice I was there(there was no one standing in front of us), 10 minutes for the guy to finish up making food and tea for a different customer(understandable, but he’d been working on making a flippin’ sandwich for 20 minutes by the end of it, I swear…), and then another 10 minutes to get my loose leaf. I’m sure other people with more time and patience would love this place, though, so I am trying to be generous with my star-rating. This is not the first time that service has blown this much, but it is the last time I’m going in and giving them anymore chances. I’ll be ordering my tea from non-local online vendors now, and that sucks.

I was concerned about the chocolate this company uses. However, the owner of Infusions sent me a detailed and wonderful email about the chocolate they use. Thank you for using chocolate that does not require child labor.

I love this place. The people who work here are lovely and really know their tea chocolate. Their food is amazing — healthy, fresh, incentive and delicious. Their fresh vegan spring rolls and kale salad are my go to post-yoga healthy meal. Their chocolates are now my preferred gift for friends — Aztec aphrodisiac is my fav but they’re all yummy and made on site. They also have a great selection of gluten free baked goods and also all their food is organic. Oh, and they do divine things with bacon. Need I say more? Make a trip to Sebastopol and check this hidden gem out.

Infusions & Sonoma Chocolatiers used to be named Infusions Tea House. I would have given it 4 ½ stars back then. Before the chocolate kitchen was added, that space in the back corner was a much bigger version of the«pillowed area» with even its own lap level coffee table. Infusions is still a charming place and I would definitely still bring a date here to talk, share beverages and delicious veggie food. .. and if we sit in the current pillowed area near the front entrance. .. share some tender touch as well. I love both varieties of rose teas they have. They are always served in some eclectic mismatched pot, cup, saucer, and strainer combo that always seems to visually work. Try any quiche they make as they are quite good! The staff here seems less something than it once was. I mean they are less friendly, less open. .. or something. I feel that they are a little up tighter than before ownership changed. It appears that triple the number of people work there now, at least. I went there a couple times last week and I think I counted seven people working behind the counter and doing jobs around the store. Infusions is a small place! One thing that makes Infusions very special is in the form of a woman named aptly, Magick. She is a master tarot reader and regularly sets up at a small table outside next to the front entrance. I have received numerous readings from Magick over the past several years and have been enormously impressed by her talent and clairvoyant abilities. Infusions is still very Sebastopol. Laid back, veggie food, tea from jars like at an apothecary. .. and a little Magick here and there. Review 0094

I couldn’t find a clean table(that didn’t have food/dirt on it) for two people. The cup my tea was served with had a layer of filth around the cup, especially on the ring, that could be scrapped off. That cup should not have left the kitchen. Cleanliness control need to be tightened at this place. After a clean cup was located, the tea was ok but not worth $ 6.00+ for 12oz. I understand each tea has different costs for the owner but Sebastopol and expensive tea doesn’t fit together in my mind. Not that $ 6+ for a cup of tea ever fits but it’s even less so where this store is located. The bathroom lock has a trick to it. I followed the instructions posted and the door was locked but someone still walked in on me.(Sigh) oh well. Might be time to bite the bullet and just buy a new one. The parking lot was a mad house. Since it’s located next to Whole Foods, it was full and people were circling looking for parking. The owner came out and he was nice, even thanked me for coming. I see that he posts long replies for poor reviews. Might I suggest if he feels the need to reply to this review K.I.S.S. because the fact is the tables and cup my tea was served with were very dirty. I’m all for good tea and the concept of the place is good but there is a lot of room for growth here. I won’t be returning to this establishment.
