I ordered a pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel wasn’t entirely fresh. Not sure if they source the bagels externally or make them fresh in house, but it didn’t seem fresh in house. They put the cheese on the bagel and put it in a toaster oven while someone reheated the pork roll that must have already been cooked based on its dry/overcooked texture when it came out. I’m not a fan of Bagel Buffet, but unfortunately it has the upper hand here. The only plus to this place was there was no line and the food came out quicker. Still trying to find a good bagel shop in the area.

Great NYDELI. Everything is wonderful. Can’t understand why anyone would go next door to subway?

Very impressed by this place. First time got a tuna panini. Some of the best tuna salad I’ve had when eating out, and it’s made in house. Had it on their homemade bread. To top it off, the sandwich was perfectly made and not sloppy at all, like many tuna sandwiches are. Second time got a simple turkey sub. Above average. People there are really nice, and menu is huge. Don’t go to subway next door

If you’re looking for a good breakfast or lunch sandwich be sure to check this place out! Everything is always fresh and delicious and the staff is always very pleasant. They’ll even make things that are not on the menu as long as they have all of the ingredients. They also offer delicious baked goods(see pictures) that never fail to satisfy a sweet tooth!

I have work in the Plaza a couple days a month and have made this a regular lunch spot every time. They are very friendly and attentive and the food is great. Very fresh and tasty every time. Nice change of pace from the usual franchise type places in the area. This is a local family owned place that is worth a try if you haven’t yet. You won’t regret trying it.

I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel this past Saturday morning. The bagel was definitely light and fluffy like some other reviewers have said. The guy behind the counter was super nice, and the customer that came in talked to him for a while, it was nice to see. I went in there to grab my food real quick and get out because I was going to Santacon, but the place is all decorated in Christmas lights, I almost wanted to stay and eat. There’s something about the place that feels homey. My breakfast was good and it was completely filling. I’ll definitely be back again.

Perfectly acceptable bagel shop convenient to holiday inn secaucus hotels. Haven’t had a NY bagel in 20 years and bagels plus did not disappoint. I had ham & egg on plain. Rest of fan had bagel with cream. Cheese. $ 20 with 2 coffees and an OJ. Beats the hotel buffet at$ 15 per head.

Opens at 6? That’s false. Got here this morning at 6:10 and was not open. Even asked the guy last night. What bagel shop isn’t open at 6? Sounds like amateurs to me.

This place is a gem not known by many. It is tucked away in the Secaucus shopping center with a bunch of chain restaurants, so it does not get much attention. However, the food is great and I have yet to be disappointed. I never came here for breakfast food, even though reviewers have talked about that a lot. I have always ordered hot sandwiches and my absolute favorite is the Tuscany sandwich — it has grilled chicken, mozzarella cheese, spinach, roasted red peppers, and Balsamic vinegar on fresh Focaccia bread. I cannot express in words how amazing the sandwich is — I substituted spinach for sundried tomatoes and the worker had no problem with that. All of the workers are extremely nice and this place truly deserves more service than it gets. My one criticism is the place can be a little pricey. With tax, the sandwich was over $ 9, but in the end, it was worth it.

Egg and cheese on a roll with SPK was good. Lox and Salmon spread was tasty with chunks inside making it extra tasty. They have muffins they warm up for you if you’re craving that. I ordered the double chocolate and eating it warm is just what I needed. You can see all their bread bring freshly baked in the back, so good! For it being 2 guys they’re attentive and quick.

Mmmmmm breakfast sandwiches!(And more) So happy I came across this spot before walking into Dunkin Donuts for a stale, microwaved egg sandwich. Not many choices for breakfast around this plaza. It’s small inside, with a few tables to sit, but seems like most people prefer to pick up and go. The men working behind the counter are friendly and inviting. I had the egg, ham, & bacon(no cheeeeese) on a roll. Everything was fresh and delicious. We devoured our food too quick. The next time I came by, I tried their coffee, which was decent and inexpensive. I saw plenty of lunch/dinner options as well but I haven’t had the chance to try them out.

I’ve had better bagels. There’s actually a place just 2 mins always with better bagels on 1&9. Got grossed out when the guy gave me my change using gloves than used it to handle my bagel. I couldn’t even eat the bagel

I work in one of the buildings near Bagels Plus and would rather walk to their shop as opposed to getting a bagel in the cafeteria in our building. Fast & friendly service.

While out shopping with the wife yesterday I needed to get something to eat. I have been meaning to try Bagels Plus for quite awhile now after reading many good reviews. It is definitely tiny, with only 4 tables inside it is very tight. But don’t let this distract you. There are plenty of tables/benches in the near by courtyard to have a nice lunch in nice weather. Check out the blackboard out front that have daily specials that are not on the menu. Off the daily menu I ordered the Tangy Roast Beef on whole wheat. It was piled high with hot roast beef, melted cheddar cheese and a creamy horseradish sauce. My wife went with the West Wood which was grilled chicken on an Italian roll with fresh mozzarella, roasted pepper, lettuce and tomato with balsamic dressing. Both sandwiches were a very decent size and reasonably priced. Whether shopping like we were, or going to a movie and want to stop to get a bite to eat before or after the movie, you need to check out Bagels Plus. I know I will be coming here again and again when I am in the area of Harmon Meadow Plaza.

Go here almost every day before work. Whether it’s a bagel or a sandwich, their food is always solid and fresh, and their staff is top notch. I would’ve given them 5 stars, had it not been for that tuna salad I got today. Was just not good, but hey, maybe it’s just me. Either way, they’re always quick, nice, and never mess up an order. Really good spot, just don’t get their tuna salad.

This is my sandwich place. They have terrific bagels, good coffee and great breakfast to go. I frequent the place more at lunch time. I have had their turkey sandwiches, tuna and egg salad. All of them are banging and fresh. They are fast which is perfect on the go for morning or afternoon. Worth it. Customer service is good as well. Seating can be outside not barely any room inside. But get your food and GO!

Pretty fast service. I went in for an egg white sandwich. For a deli, it was fast and good. They offered bread and cheese options. It’s a tiny place, but the value is in the meal! Delicious.

Excellent deli buried in a busy plaza Huge thanks to Unilocal for helping me find this place. I truly would not have looked twice at this place for lunch. From the outside it looks a bit sketchy in an otherwise commercial, chain-store oriented plaza. DONOT let this fool you. This place is a great find for lunch instead of the DD or Subway next door. I walked in and looked at a large menu and instead of deciding what I wanted I simply asked the man behind the counter what his recommendation was for lunch. He told me «the tuscany» sandwich which consisted of chicken, mozzerella, red peppers and some type of sub sauce on a wheat roll. This was only $ 7 and was quite large for the price. It was a hot sandwich that was absolutely delicious. I will definitely stop by here during any future trips to Secaucus. As others have said, it’s a shame that people are going to the fast food places nearby instead of Bagels Plus.
