Amazing and as good as it gets around these parts! Even the guitarist is great! I suggest sitting out on the little balcony and settling in for the evening. Very helpful staff, great food and not over run by tourists — yet.

Driving though Sedona for the Valentine’s weekend and found this perfect gem of a restaurant. We’ve eaten here twice in two days. The staff was friendly the food was great & the drinks were right on point. The bartender knows how to mix them up, especially a Russian Qualude(it’s a White Russian with a shot of Frangelica). The lasagna il forno style is a must. The Cesar salad was great and the pizza was perfect(ask for a side of butter for the crust(IT’s amazing!!!)) Can’t wait to come back

So this was quite good! We normally don’t go for American food, but the view and reviews sold it. We tried to get a reservation but we’re told they could no longer take any because they were already soon booked. We happened to walking anyway and low and behold there was only a 20 min wait and on valentine’s day. We then were able to get one of the best views. Great service and tasty good. We got the French onion, meatball appetizers, and the peach pizza. All very cheesy and good.

Best Italian I’ve had in a long time. The Mozzarella bread appetizer is to Die For. One bite and you will physically swoon. My boyfriend had the lasagna, which was excellent. I had the Fall Harvest speciality salad which was awesome. We were not left hungry, trust me. It is a bit pricey, but the food and the service and the overall ambience of the place more than makes it worth it. If you find yourself in Sedona and don’t know where to eat, definitely give the Hideaway House a try!!!

This restaurant is a total gem. A diamond in the rough red rock if you will. We found this spot while looking for an affordable lunch spot on Unilocal. The food is phenomenal!!! I like to consider myself a self-proclaimed foodie. I love flavor and spice and meals that contain real non-processed ingredients. This place totally knocked it out of the park! We had the soup to warm up on a chilly afternoon and it was hearty and filling. But the real icing on the cake(ok we had a brownie but I’ll get to that later) is the view! Eating outside on the patio is a must. And if you’re cold; one word: BLANKETS! this place has the friendliest staff and the best service. They gave us blankets and set us up next to a heater to enjoy all the beauty that Sedona offers. We loved this place so much we came back for dinner the same day. My friend and I split a caprese salad and the special seafood pasta with sundried tomatoes in a white wine sauce. It was soooo good. An explosion of flavor! We almost ordered a second round… No judgment zone. To finish it off we had the bourbon bacon brownie sundae. Need I say more?! YUM! The restaurant also offers nice drink selections and our server Marlene was a peach! Honestly, if I was a bazillionaire I would fly this food take-out back to Ohio. If you don’t eat here you are really missing out. Avoid the flashy signs on 89A and visit a real local Sedona Gem!

This was the best place that we ate at while visiting Sedona Arizona. This is highly recommended! The food was amazing and the staff was as friendly as can be. If you don’t go here while in Sedona you’re really missing out.

Located behind a liquor store — literally a «hideaway house.» Had a little wait before dinner, but we were able to order a couple of beers and then just chill for a bit in the lobby. Very interesting décor and ambience, the best way I can describe it is that it is an Italian restaurant that is supposed to make you feel like you could be on a beach somewhere in Hawaii. The food was definitely comfort food — got their meatball slides(yum!) and soup which filled me up super fast. The bf got their meatloaf, which could have used more mozzarella on the inside. The food came up in dumbwaiter, so it seems like the kitchen is located downstairs? Kind of cool, but also kind of concerning since the dumbwaiter seemed like it was an old model and could break at any time. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would recommend it to anyone else visiting the area.

The atmosphere and view are both charming. We had Pizza for Lunch, which was excellent… cheesy with a hint of garlic and fresh from the oven. The view was breathtaking and Dennis, our server, was friendly and welcoming.

Love their patio view. The employees are very friendly and the restaurant is cozy and sweet. Everyone’s food was just okay. We got the garlic cheese bread blossom for the table, which is just cheesy bread. I ordered the mussels entrée with the red sauce and spaghetti. I really think mussels should be accompanied by a light, thin angel hair, but it wasn’t an option. It came out as the white sauce by a misunderstanding, but I insisted it was okay(I didn’t want my table to wait for me) but found myself disappointed by the very buttery sauce. My husband and father-in-law both ordered the prime rib and neither were very thrilled with the flavor, especially since the horseradish was mild enough for my toddler to eat. On a positive note, the pizza was good and the grandparents were really happy with their orders of the french onion soup. I think if we return, it would only be for happy hour drinks and appetizers on the patio(because it truly is a beautiful view) and perhaps lower our expectations.

A beautiful view, a bottle of wine, and their wine lovers board is the perfect way to spend the afternoon in Sedona at the Hideaway House. Friendly service from Dennis and reasonable priced food made this a nice stop in between excursions. Try their wine lover board. Meat and cheese board with roasted vegetables, marinated vegetables, spreads, breads, nuts and olives. Most importantly just relax and take in the views from their patio.

What a lovely spot to stop at for a perfect late lunch! As with so many places in Sedona, grab a spot outside and enjoy the lovely view. While their pizzas looked quite tasty, trying to maintain some semblance of low-carb eating, we opted for the Wine Lovers board(cheese, meat, nuts, etc) and a bottle of wine. Hit the spot! I am used to a more artisanal type of meat and cheese, having had some of the best from Mozza and Terrine in LA, but this board was good, the wine was good, service was good, and the view was great.

The views from the patio were amazing. My waitress was so sweet. She has worked in the arwa for many years. I had the Sunday Gravy which was a mix of Sausage, meatballs, and pork medallions covered in a wonderful red sauce served in top of spaghetti. The only negative to my food was that the spaghetti was about 2 minutes from being done. I like al dente but this was too al dente. Also my slice of bread was blah. No seasoning no butter and cold. Still I would go back just for the view.

Late Lunch 7÷5÷15 We popped into this charming place upon arriving Sedona from Phoenix at around 2:30pm. It’s a little house with great view of the red rock and a patio. Amanda is the greatest waitress – she’s fun, humorous, and sarcastic. We had some good cocktails — Moscow Mule and Cosmopolitan while taking in the view. Cosmopolitan is on happy hour menu for $ 5. Menu offers soup, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and American entrees. To steer off the heat, we opted for salads and sandwiches. The sandwiches here are served cold except for the burger, fine by me when it’s 95 outside! *House Garden Salad($ 9) is served with romaine lettuce, mixed greens, tomatoes, garbanzo beans and onions with choice of dressing. Portion is generous. Amanda is very kind to keep bringing out warm toasty foccacia for us. *Turkey Bacon Club($ 13) is gargantuan. A big slice of grilled chicken breast, two strips of crispy bacon and mayo with avocado and mixed greens. The salad also comes with tomato, cucumber and garbanzo beans. It’s a great place for lunch if you’re into simple dishes without all the fusion twisted fuss. In my opinion, it’s much better than the nearby Creekside Café. They have lots of wine selection so it’s a great place to unwind and sip while enjoying the great view.
