This place took great care of me while I was visiting Sedona. My order was ready promptly and the owners were kind and courteous… plus who doesn’t love BBQ???

Really good food, over priced, awkward service(didnt speak english well) shabby décor. The food was good though so I would go back just for the food aspect.

Wow. The bad reviews are just not correct in this case. Had great service, and the Baby Back Ribs were AWESOME! Small, but quality selection of craft beers and a nice atmosphere. I have lived in Texas and Kansas City. I know BBQ. This was damn good, and I was very pleased. Not the penultimate BBQ on the planet, but I was super surprised how succulent the ribs were, and my wife deigned to share a(small) bite of her Pulled Pork, which was also excellent. The sauces were OK and the sides were good, and tasted home made. Very good gluten-free accommodations for any nutritional issues, as well. I will be back. I recommend you try it, if you are in the mood for good BBQ in Sedona. Pet-friendly patio was a bonus.

Great food and great prices! Two of us shared one of the platters, but still weren’t able to finish it. Three choices of sauces on the table meant each of us could choose our favorite. The smoky potato salad was something we’d never had before and was very tasty. Lots of TV’s with sporting events and interesting beer selection plus a patio made this appealing to those wanting local views, too. As an added bonus, a family of javelinas passed us in the parking lot on our way out!

Stopped in here after checking out the reviews and the menu. Wasn’t sure what expect as the reviews were all over the map. We were seated right away. It was sunset time so we wanted to sit outside on the deck to get the views — very nice. Ordered the 12oz BBQ chicken breast with beer battered onion rings and a side of cole slaw and the southwestern chicken salad. The food was delivered quickly, which means the chicken was precooked. The onion rings were very tasty and the cole slaw had an interesting tang. The chicken was moist and the BBQ sauce was tasty, but not over powering. There were also several different types of BBQ sauce on the table if more was needed. The southwestern chicken salad was fresh, but the chicken was salty and the dressing was very salty. Good thing we ordered the dressing on the side. The waiter was very attentive and came out frequently to check if we needed anything. We didn’t have any of the other meats so I am unable to rate the other BBQ items, but I would rate this a solid 3 star for what we had and the service provided.

Tried this place during a drive through Sedona. BBQ brisket sandwich was excellent, salad was average. Fried green chili was amazing. Food came out fast, service was great.

Be aware. Check your receipts carefully. They added an 18% gratuity on our bill. It was just 4 of us. I understand an establishment can adds 18% gratuity on a party of 5 or more, but a party of 4? We almost ended up paying additional gratuity if my friend didn’t catch it. When we asked them why the gratuity was added, they played like they didn’t know, but you can tell they they knew and were surprised that we caught it. As for food… The ribs were dried and cold. Mac and cheese was cold, and it tasted like they tried to microwave it. Brisket was just edible. We were all really hungry, and it was the closest BBQ place in town. As hungry as we all were, the food was terrible and service sucked.

I’m giving one star for the yummy side dishes and the second star for a few very friendly servers/staff. However, the biggest problem I had with this place was the BBQ. I ordered the 50⁄50 and my choices were the chicken and brisket. Neither tasted like they had been BBQ’d or smoked at all. They both tasted like they were cooked in an oven and had been reheated to serve. The brisket was tough and flavorless. The only thing Bbq about it was the sauce I drenched it in to make it more edible. Tip to the business, make the meat your star! You’ve got the sides down, but for the prices it just didn’t live up to my standards.

Love the location, the bbq sauce, the St Louis ribs, the sweet potato fries(especially when I add bbq sauce to them) and I appreciated that they came with garlic bread. Alfredo was excellent in serving us. Excellent pulled pork according to mom! Spectacular view and a full happy belly!

WHATSUPWITHBADREVIEWS? I read the reviews and almost didn’t come and that would have sucked! First I called them to confirm they didn’t take Amex(a huge pet peeve of mine that makes me want to boycott restaurants), and the lady said«if it’s all you have we will take it». Then when I called back to see what time they close, she was nice again! Finally we came in, it’s SMALL, but at least the TVs had sports and not news.(Negative Energy Wave Spreaders). I ordered wings as an appetizer, and DANGGINA! Those wings were amazing. The BBQ mixed with mild sauce was heavenly. I ordered the pepper jack sandwich and it was so good. I mean wow! My angel and my mom got half rack of ribs and i swear the pig didn’t have my meat left, those suckers were HUGE. My mom said they were«cooked like I like them», so probably not the way I would have, but I’m not a ribs fan anyhow, but both the girls loved them :) look Sedona is full of foo foo la la food. When you want some«real pig and cow», this is a great place to come and NOT have to drop 30 bucks per person ok dinner ;)

Had late lunch after hike at Sedona sights… got mini feast & sampler appetizer, just right for 2 hungry us :) the baby back ribs falls off the bones w/bbq sauce… finger lickin’ good. Beef brisket + pulled pork. The fried green pepper, fried zuchinni & onion ring plays perfect medley w/their homemade sante fe sauce. Coconut cream pie soo light that is perfect to end the good meal. Very friendly atmosphere that you feel at home digging in ur feast :) Great view, great food, great service & staff :) Oh, Snoopy Rock is right smack in front of our window seat too! overall awesome! :D Will definitely be our default food place whenever in Sedona ;)

First of all Red Rock needs to change menu or portion sizes. The pulled pork bbq platter is more like a small plate. A platter serves more than 1 in my opinion. Not here. The my daughter and I split the platter, we left hungry. The service was ok, semi– friendly. Not the best bbq I’ve ever had.

It was 9 of us, We had the Family Feast and the Red Rock Appetizer and Mozzarella Sticks. It was plenty of food for all of us, we were stuffed, we also had a bottle of wine and a couple of beers, service was good and they even gave us dessert, Apple Turnovers, like the ones McDonalds used to have back in the day, fried, so yummy! Great View also!

Hot wings 10 bucks, cheese fries 6 bucks — ish. Delicious. Others in my party loved their chicken sandwiches & brisket. Good food, nice view. Will come back! *Friendly customer service!

I really hate giving bad reviews, it’s not something I do often, but… As someone who lived in Texas, this place was an insult to BBQ. We ordered a family meal which was supposed to come with brisket, ribs, pulled pork and chicken. It had a piece of chicken, pulled pork, ribs that my wife liked and what I think was supposed to resemble brisket. I also ordered peach cobbler and a coconut cream pie. The peach cobbler tasted like someone used one of those .99 cent boxed cakes and a can of walmart great value peaches. The coconut cream pie had the consistency of home-made butter that had been beaten too long, then it had chocolate and caramel drizzled on it… Normally brisket comes in two ways. Moist, or lean. Moist is moister and with a higher fat content, and lean is drier and lean. I had one piece of brisket that was an actual full piece of brisket and everything else looked like a roast that was left in a crock pot so long that it just dissolved. The rub was pretty much nonexistent and the smoke ring wasn’t even there. The sauce was pretty bland as well. You’d be better off driving two hours from Sedona to Rudy’s in Chandler.

This place is amazing. The wings were awesome. Ribs are top of the line. Brisket, pork and chicken were all tender and smoky. This is a must while you are in sedona Service was really good. They made my wife a pot of coffee at 8:30 at night. Sides were good and the bread was decadent

Excellent BBQ place. Walk in and the wood smoke smell is good enough to eat by itself. We shared the Red Rock BBQ feast– a meal for two, and it was great. I especially liked the baby back ribs and the chicken. The pulled pork and the sliced brisket went deliciously with the little slices of garlic buttered toast they served with it. I would definitely eat here again and also highly recommend to you for BBQ in Sedona!
