We heard his place was a must try… and so did everyone else that morning! That place was hoppin! Very busy, we pulled into the parking lot and saw a crowd of people waiting outside on a super hot day… we knew if it was good enough that people were waiting in the heat we had to stay and see what all the fuss is about! We put our names in and waiting 20 minutes, not too bad! We decided to walk around the next door IGA while we waited instead of standing in the sun! We were sat at a booth/chair combo table, just 2 of us, we ordered that giant cinnamon bun… we just had to do it! I ordered a custom made omelette, green chili and cheese, avocado on top. I am not a egg fan, and it was really very good, I am super picky about eggs… I wished that I had asked for extra cheese, and for the cheese to go inside the fold of the omelette. The flavor and taste was sooo great though! The cinnamon roll wasn’t like the best thing ever, I actually ended up taking only a bite or two and brought it home for the kids… it was a huge hit with them! I can’t remember what my husband ordered… mostly only because he ate it sooo fast! He LOVELOVE LOVEed his meal! He is a breakfast guy, loves eggs, breakfast meats, etc. I think maybe he got the Benedict now that I am thinking of it. He really enjoyed his meal, and he can’t wait to return!

I had veggie scramble and it was very good, veggies were fresh and varied(sweet potato, green beans, zucchini, along with the usual mushroom, spinach and tomato.) Hubs had a veggie omelet that he said was, «pretty good» but he ate it all so it must have been tasty. Service was great, coffee was totally decent and the prices were reasonable. The best food we had in sedona was from two places in strip malls off the beaten path. Skip the fancy schmancy and just have good food!

I had the Belgian waffle & my wife had scramble skillet. Very yummy. Great service. Will definitely return. My second time to RRC. Had the skillet breakfast. Very yummy. Service here is really great. If you’re in Sedona you have to stop in here. The French toast is to die for. My wife had that.

We were on a journey for the perfect southwestern food. Who knew we would find it at this strip mall diner – and also in the form of chicken fried steak! Seriously. I ordered it to my husband’s dismay because I read it was good based on the reviews. We are from the Midwest. Chicken fried steak is a school lunch punishment you opt out of for the disgusting square pizza alternative. But OHMYGOSH, Red Rock puts chicken fried steak on the map. On our 10 day road trip which included a-many southwestern dishes, this was our favorite(and we are a tough crowd). I still wish we had gotten the cinnamon roll – it was bigger than my face – but this is a great stop in Sedona(especially if you’re not inclined to hit the run of the mill places that are super touristy on the main drag because BONUS– it’s a little outside of busy area). Enjoy!

I had the breakfast tostada with eggs, beef, cheese, guac, green chili. It was good. Not many good restaurants in Sedona, but this was good breakfast. The only down side was the coffee. Very weak. But most breakfast places serve weak coffee :(

This place is a little off the main beat but it is worth it! I don’t usually give breakfast 5 stars because it’s not exactly my favorite meal of the day. BUT this place was so great that I gave in! The omelet was perfect and french toast was great too. I must say the cinnamon roll is the biggest one I’ve ever seen and SOOOOO much icing! Wow!

Smörgåsbord this place! Went here for breakfast with a group of people and ordered the GIANT cinnamon roll, blueberry walnut french toast, chicken fried steak skillet special, and the cowboy benedict. Favorites were the cinnamon roll and the skillet special. The cinnamon roll is bigger than your face! Delicious moist, warm bun with melting frosting; too much even for the 5 of us to eat in one sitting. The skillet had a mix of veggies that had a nice kick to them. I highly recommend getting this for yourself to eat! The staff were friendly and attentive too which is a major plus!

The Southwest Chicken Fried Steak with the Ranchero sauce. Ridiculous. Anything with the Ranchero sauce. Order the Casita sized cinnamon roll and drench it in Ranchero sauce. The Ranchero sauce.

Oh my, I can see why this place gets such good reviews. It was near our hotel, located in a strip mall and easy to overlook. There was a wait both times we came, the first time for about 30 minutes. Not only did we wait for a while that first time, they temporarily lost our order and we watched table after table seated after us get their food first. But the food was so good(and thought our server was great), so we just had to come back. They have wonderful daily specials that actually change every day — not that I would have minded if they lingered, I loved the daily special enough the first day that I wanted to get it again. The breakfast menu has the more typical items such as omelets, pancakes, french toast, eggs benedict and the like. But then they have«A Taste of Mexico» items such as southwest chicken fried steak, build your own breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros. I had the special the first day and a breakfast burrito the next day. Both were excellent. We normally try to avoid revisiting the same restaurants much when we were traveling, but we definitely would have visited here more if we had a longer stay, and would come back if ever in the area again.

My first reaction when walking into this diner was that I was expecting to see Jerry Seinfeld and another comedian pull up in a classic supercar for some coffee. This is exactly the type of classic diner that he always features on his Comedians in Cars internet special. They have a clean, old-school environment with lots of coffee and breakfast specials. The staff were busy in here as they were constantly moving hot sauces and coffee and other condiments from table to table to accommodate the many guests that cycled through here. My wife and I enjoyed two of the specials they offered(both under $ 8). I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon and I couldn’t have been happier with this traditional breakfast. It was all cooked perfectly and set me up for a long day of hiking in the area. My wife went with the french toast and she was very happy with it was well. Overall, this diner is everything you would want in a classic breakfast joint. It has lots of coffee, great specials, biscuits and gravy outside of the American south, and the faint possibility that Jerry Seinfeld will show up at any moment. I was a big fan of this diner.

Spent a week in Sedona recently and had some blah meals, some bad meals and some good meals — this one was one of the better ones on the list. In an odd location in a strip mall next to a grocery store — but this is obviously a super popular place with the locals. Our service was a tad slow but they were quite busy. They have a huge menu — including breakfast and lunch food and some huge salads. I had the eggs benedict — cooked perfectly and yum. Friend had a huge fresh mixed salad which she loved too. Prices are reasonable — it’s no wonder the locals flock here!

Worked for us! This cute little café was a stones throw from the hotel room. Why suffer meh coffee when a quick run down the stair gets you darn good coffee. Also ordered sandwiches for the trails. Ask for foil wrap or you might find yourself with a whole bunch of styrofoam. Stopped in for the 3 days we were here.

The Red Rock café’s food is good and service is spectacular, but nothing else blew me away. They have various options to eat and the wait is not worth it if you are hungry. If you go, you must order a cinnamon roll for breakfast! They are huge and delicious.

Saw this place had good reviews so after our family ride decided to stop by for some breakfast. The place was busy but the wait wasn’t long. The homestyle fries were my favorite! Try colored with sweet potatoes and some veggies mixed in. They added great color to the plates. I always struggle to find healthier options on the menu and the healthy scramble was perfect size and usually what I order: egg whites, some veggie, DRY wheat toast, and a small cup of fruit. PERFECT!

Unfortunately we haven’t found too many good breakfast choices in Sedona, however we stumbled upon Red Rock Café during one of our day trips so we gave it a shot. It’s very much a hole in the wall restaurant. Upon arrival, our party of four was seated at one of the last tables in the back. It took quite a few minutes for our waitress to come by to greet us and take our order. Like previously mentioned, we were there for a day trip so we didn’t really want to spend too much time at brunch. I did notice that they have a decent Mimosa special, so if you have time to hang out then this may be for you! I ended up getting an omelette with the house potatoes, my fiancé got the chicken fried steak, and our friends got other dishes with eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. It didn’t take too long for the food to come out. No one really had complaints but nothing was impressive either. I thought my omelette was fairly greasy and lacked flavor. The potatoes looked really pretty and unique, but again, weren’t very flavorful. No one came by to check if we needed water refills, so we went without any for most of the meal. We had to flag down our waitress to get the checks and left as soon as we could. I don’t see us coming back in the future.

Dropped in for breakfast on the way home from a vacation in Sedona. The folks all seemed friendly and the coffee was pretty decent as well. I had the Veggies scrambled with egg whites with the hash browns and a side of the fruit. It was not over the top but just right in size and enjoyable in taste. A lot of people seem to love this place from the look of the crowd and the owner was, hands on, asking folks how things were as well. I liked the coffee, so I would drop in again.

15 minute wait for breakfast wasn’t too bad considering how few tables they had. They should rearrange and add a few more seats. There was a lot of open space near the center and front door where they could get rid of some gift shop type stuff and add a booth or 3. I didn’t like my omelet too much. I ordered with Jack cheese, bacon and green bell peppers. It was smothered inside and topped with cheese. Also had red peppers inside. I loved their cinnamon role though very very good. No diaper changing table in the restroom was a bummer considering we where driving for 5 hours to get to the grand canyon. Baby got changed on my lap in the car :/

The place is a little cold, so bring a sweater! But, other than that, this place is AWESOME! Great service! They let us get our meals exactly the way we wanted it! So, for example, I got the skillet with black beans instead of eggs and fruit instead of the tortilla with avocado. Exactly what I wanted without any of the«ohhhhh I don’t think you can do that» mumbo jumbo. I’d say one of my favorite skillets ever. Dad got the banana bread French toast and didn’t even want to take a bite of my meal after he had finished his, because then he would«lose the amazing taste in his mouth.» So, I’m gonna take that as a win for the French toast. Beware though!!! We got the cinnamon roll and still couldn’t finish it between the 6 of us!!! So, if you order it, come hungry!
