This was a really cute place under the trees and took a minute to find because I guess it is a secret! Haha! Small on the inside with outdoor seating. They offer mexican blankets folded in the hallway and seat cushions for those sitting outside. They have plenty of heat lamps so it wasn’t too cold to sit out there. Plus they had their clear patio walls/covers to keep it the warmth inside. We ate here for brunch. Everyone got the Garden Breakfast with the eggs, bacon and toast with your choice of a side of fruit or potatoes. I went with the Quiche Lorraine. It was fluffy with ham and cheese. I got a side of potatoes. It was really good. Service was good as well. Lots of parking in the lot outside. This place is located at the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village near the information booth.

Waited in line for 20 min, open tables all around us. No one even acknowledged my party or the people in line either. Not a good way to start. When we got seated the host told me to enter through the back because we had dogs, when we entered the back no one was there to seat us. We waited 5 minutes and I went up front to see what was going on, the host told me «go to the table that’s set up». How the hell am I supposed to know where to sit? Get your ass back there and seat us, it was like playing«guess where we should sit». The waitress was not friendly at all either and got our order incorrect. When we told her what we wanted she tried to say we didn’t ask for that… total lightweight response… all in all I will never be coming here again…

I had the French toast and my boyfriend had the breakfast burrito, definitely smaller than what he was expecting, but the food was good. They had great accommodations for our dog, serving him water when we satin the patio. This is our first time in Sedona, we have many options to explore but definitely recommend this place if you are looking to enjoy a meal with your pooch :)

Secret Garden Café is located at the beautiful tlaquepaque arts of craft village and we had a very lovely lunch there. We walked in around lunch time on weekend and got lucky to grab one of the last few tables on the patio on beautiful October afternoon. Service was great. Friendly server came to chat with us immediately after we sat down and enjoyed hearing her recommendation. I was on vacation so I started with freshly made prickly pear mango margarita. They use fresh ingredients and they tasted really good. A bit strong, I was feeling an affect of alcohol just after one drink. I ordered garden burger for lunch. It is served plenty of avocado, and few other vegetables, I was eating nutritionally balanced meal with great flavor. Side Cole slow had fresh and good flavor, I enjoyed my meal, I ate so quick. After lunch we walked around the tlaquepaque, great way to help settle my tummy after eating great food and drink. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this cute restaurant with good service and great food.

I came here today with my husband, 2-year old daughter, and elderly parents, one of whom is recovering from an illness and needs a walker to be mobile. We checked in and said we need a table for 4 plus a high chair. The hostess seated us at a table at the patio with 4 chairs. I asked if we can take the longer rectangular table with 6 chairs. She said no, it’s a 6 topper. So we sat at our smaller round table, patiently waiting for our high chair. Five minutes later, nothing. No wait staff approached us either, and it wasn’t busy(Friday at 10-ish am). So we left. Apparently you guys don’t need our business. If you refuse to let a party of 5(that’s right I said it, I count my toddler as a person) sit at a table for 6, at least bring our requested high chair immediately.

in defense of SECRETGARDENCAFE, i ordered badly. everybody else’s brunch looked better than mine. if i did a better job with the menu they might have gotten four stars but, then again, if they were only judged by my food they’d have only gotten two. my soup and pizza could kindly be characterized as lazy. the SOUTHWESTERNCORNCHOWDER was barely(well, really not quite) okay. the chips that came with it were right out of the bag and the soup was not much more than pimped out creamed corn. the HUMMUSPIZZA(pita bread topped with hummus, black mission figs, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions & feta cheese) sounds a lot better than it was. the taste of stale pita dominated everything. however, my daughter’s DEEPDISHQUICHELORRAINE(ham, bacon and swiss) looked amazing and tasted nearly as good — she shared a bite. the son’s BLT&A(peppered bacon with roasted garlic aioli, crisp greens, avocado and sliced tomatoes on toasted sourdough) thoroughly confused both the server and in turn the kitchen since he ordered it B&A — hold the aioli, crisp greens and sliced tomatoes but they sorted things out pretty quickly. the wife’s CAPRESE SANDWiCH(fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil and roasted red peppers — grilled in a panini press with garlic olive oil) was just okay. little dry and none of the flavors seemed very bright. the MANDARINCHICKENSALAD(spring mix blend with mandarin oranges, toasted tamari pumpkin seeds, all natural chicken breast and sesame dressing) looked amazing but didn’t get a bite.

Definitely fell short. Even as I type this I remember how bland it was. I ordered a 2 eggs, ham and cheese on a croissant. It had zero flavor. As I poured the hot sauce, I thought I over poured. Turns out there was nothing I could do to revive any flavor. Minus 1 Star My mom had the Garden Breakfast. She says it was very dry. Her fruit salad went uneaten. Minus 1 Star. The services was good enough. No real complaints. But my mom was displeased that they didn’t offer her a second cup of coffee, as most places usually do. I thought the mugs were large enough so I thought it would have been unnecessary. But my mom was very unhappy. Also, I had to flag down a different server in order to get the check since ours didn’t offer to get it for us when she grabbed our empty plates. Minus 1 Star. I had high hopes. But the food just wasn’t that good. But I will say I usually hate eating outside, and even though the female server didn’t offer us a choice, the ambiance was really nice out.

I chose this place because they offered at least one vegan and gluten-free breakfast option, but had other options to keep my omnivore friend happy. I was assured by our very nice and helpful server that the dish, including the toast was all vegan and gluten-free. I can assure you it is not. The Tofu Love Scramble itself may very well be vegan and gluten free. It was also really delicious. But the potatoes it comes with are either cooked in lard or cooked right next to the bacon. I’ve been vegan for years and vegetarian for even longer, and I know animal fat in my food when I taste it. It was really gross. All I really wanted was breakfast potatoes, but I couldn’t even eat them. Thankfully the toast and the tofu scramble filled me up. I’d have the scramble again WITHOUT the potatoes. This place was not easy to find. Their sign is pretty small and has writing that is hard to read from a car. Make sure you’ve got your GPS on. The espresso drinks are astronomically expensive. You’ll get better and cheaper drinks at Starbucks.

So disappointed. We initially came here because it didn’t look like a chain and I love supporting mom n pop places, but the prices are astronomically high. I had a regular coffee cup size of Chai latte which was $ 5.50 and a burrito for $ 13, which was the average price for all of there breakfast entrees. I ordered the burrito assuming I would get me the most bang for my buck, but it was small and on top of that they were out of potatoes which could have been the filler. Although they offer cage free eggs the portion size and quality didn’t impress me.
