Bagels Your Way Cafe

Probably won’t be going back here after today. It’s not the first time the service was bad, but it’s the last for me. It took a long time to be waited on because the server messed up the order ahead of me twice. They had two people working but they weren’t efficient. My order was also wrong. The woman laughed about how many mistakes she was making and than made another one. I thought that my order was correct but I should have double checked because when I got home the tuna salad I ordered was veggie cream cheese. The place wasn’t busy. With so many bagel shops around I don’t need to go here for horrible service higher than average prices.

Never again. Served by a young man with his pants below his behind. Really? Service very slow because staff more interested in personal chit chat. Not impressed with bagels. What a waste.

Just came back from here. It was like pulling teeth to get the girl to write the order down. I order two egg and bagel platters, get home and NO BAGELS??? It’s a freaking bagel place, how can they forget to put the bagels in the order. Completely unacceptable! I tried calling to complain but my complaints fell on deaf ears. The girl who answered was more concerned if I had the correct store. Their bagels are really good though, sure wish I had one right now.

In the past I used to think this place was great… Crispy bacon, nice and cheesy, but now I’ve been there a few more times and every single time they really didn’t impress.
Either they don’t cut the bagel all the way, or don’t make it the way I request, the bacon is always rubbery, over easy ordered eggs, hard and lacking all that gooey greatness… Just a let down.

Our job gets bagels from this place every friday, The bagels are okay but not exactly fantastic. In my opinion the strong aspects of this deli is the eggs sandwiches /​pancakes also service and delivery time. I see a lot of the reviews here are people dissatisfied with how they where treated upon visiting the location which i cannot speak for. But we have been ordering breakfast from them for about a week. They deliver in a timely fashion. You dont have 100 egg shells in your sandwich like some other local delis COUGH (antonios) COUGH. overall i have been very happy with these guys and the food they have made for us has been good.

First time trying this place, and the last time I will give them my money. Ordered two egg sandwiches and was charged $ 11.50, nothing special bacon egg and cheese, and got nothing else… Not even coffee. Drove home to find that I was given the wrong order. Drove back to get my order and was told it was a mix up, ok … No apology. I said my eggs are now cold (half hour had past since they were made) I was told that they were «warm enough». There are so many other places to get bagels and eggs, don’t waste your time or money at this place.

Went into this store for the first time. Guy behind counter passes me up to take my order. Then girl says can I help who’s next? I say yes and begin to place my order. She begins to ask the next two people if she can help them. I say excuse me but I am on line and would like to order. She gets defensive on me and begins to give me a lesson on how to order. Needless to say I canceled my order and opted out. My opinion this bagel store is bad. Service is horrible and rude. My experience was terrible there are plenty other bagel stores in this area.

I ordered an egg salad on a bagel (and nothing else) and was charged $ 7.50. Anywhere else I could have gotten two bagels for that price. It wasn’t even that good. What a ripoff.
Don’t go here. Another member wrote a similar review about being overcharged.

i enjoyed the bagels here. i got a dozen to go and 2 types of cream cheese. for a sunday morning at 10am, i was in and out of there in less than 5 min. they def planned for the weekend rush and i appreciate that. once we had the bagels, we enjoyed them! their lite veggie cc is awesome! i was visiting family in the area, but will def be back every time i’m in town.

Bagels are alright but whatever you do don’t get an egg sandwich from here. Bacon looked microwaved, 2 eggs seemed like one egg and the roll wasn’t good. There are bagels places almost in every shopping enter on Long Island so I much rather go up the road and get a good egg sandwich.

One of my new favorite bagel places! Always grab an egg sandwich here before work.
Only criticism I have would be one of their employees; Tony I believe his name is. I have never ordered from him and had my food come the way I asked.
I know other customers have had complaints as well; most usually wait for the girls if he is working. If you want the best service here, make sure one of the girls help you.

Will never go back. Went there yesterday and ordered two egg whites, turkey and tomato on a roll. The young guy that rang me up charged me over 9.00. When I questioned it he repeated my order back to me and said the register price again. Begrudgingly I paid, I did not want to make a big deal and maybe I was wrong? It was bothering me so, I called the shop back and asked for a price on the sandwich I ordered and was quoted about 5.00. I informed him that I was overcharged for my sandwich and he agreed it was a lot and was a mistake but, at no time did he offer to compensate my money back or anything at all. Which basically felt like a sorry sucker. Aaand the sandwich itself while tasty had barely a sliver of tomato and egg white was lacking as well. So even for the price quoted not worth it to me. Not happy. never again.

I’ve gone here a couple times since it’s a convenient location. The staff are quite weathered and rarely friendly, but hey, I just want a bagel. They only show positive emotion when a regular comes in they know. Usually I can overlook their staff but today, the particular tough-​looking, older tanning bed-​heavy woman slammed the bathroom door into me as I was walking to get a drink. I Unilocaled (no pun intended) out of surprise and she said «sorry, but guess you shouldn’t be standing near the bathroom» as she quickly walked behind the counter to chat with a regular. The other employees saw the exchange and that I was more surprised and upset by her lack of manners, yet no one went out of their way to be nice. Glad this isn’t a real restaurant where people rely on tips.
The bagels are nothing spectacular. I like mine soft so I’ve learned to always order egg or egg everything otherwise I risk losing the skin off the roof of my mouth. Be sure to check whether the flavored cream cheese look fresh – some of the more unique flavors start looking a little crusty after a couple days. Their egg sandwiches are actually decent, but nothing to write home about.
It’s not really worth the stop unless out of desperation. If you’re genuinely looking for a great bagel place, go to Bagels and a Hole Lot More on 347 headed towards Smithaven Mall. It might be a little out of the way, but it’s delicious!

It’s not the worst or the best. I’d honestly not waste my time there again since the one in Medford is a lot better.

Awful. Burned my bagel and tried to hide the damage with cream cheese. (the cream cheese was delicious) Asked for an ice tea with no ice. It was mostly ice when I got it

Carbs. I love carbs and boy do they love me too. Dr. Atkins wouldn’t be happy with me because I’d defy almost every single one of his mantras.
I currently limit myself to 1 – 2 bagels a month because they aren’t friendly to my figure :) However, I was tipped off by other friends of mine who have bodies that are bagel friendly, that Bagels Your Way in Selden has Whole Wheat Everything bagels. Well, I made my way in there yesterday to try it and it was damn good. It’s a receiver of 4 Unilocal from me mainly because it’s not the «best» bagel I’ve ever had but it’s pretty damn good. The all female staff inside is always very friendly and quite efficient too.
I’m hoping they’ll soon carry a Whole Wheat EGG Everything Bagel and then I’ll really be in heaven. Toasted. With lowfat veggie cream cheese. Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
