I tend to shop here when I don’t want to be annoyed by the crowds of people at shoprite in the next shopping center. Yes the prices are higher than the other average supermarkets but sometimes it’s worth it for a peaceful shopping experience. You can also count on items being in-stock and their bakery is probably one of the best«supermarket bakeries» out there. The king kullen experience is generally more relaxed/slower than other supermarkets and the customers themselves tend to be older. I basically shop at ShopRite but will admit that the king kullen shop is usually a more enjoyable one

King Kullen is a good grocery store. The only problem is that the prices are very high. But the food is fresh and the bakery is great.

Ironically visited this KK in Independence Plaza on the Fourth to find it shares lot with HD& Nishiki along MCR. Space itself is pretty well spread out with the same overpriced items as its fellow branches, minus the esoteric items the Manorville one boasts that makes it worth an occasional visit. This means a freezer-burned slew of pedestrian ice creams but more room to walk around to see them, quite a quandary if you live nearby.
