Our family of 6 went at noon on a Tuesday and were seated in 5 minutes. The Good: Our server was good. The bread was really good. The Southwest salad my wife had was«ok.» The Baja burger I had was outstanding the combination of hot spices with cool avocado was really nice. The atmosphere was more formal than any we had found in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, but everyone shopping at the outlets mixed well with the local business people. Prices were surprisingly reasonable. The Bad: Nothing about the food, service or atmosphere detracted from our experience. The DL: We would definitely try this place again, though my wife says she would order something different.

Best food around by far!!! love the prime rib sandwich and French fries– and Kayla the bartender she’s my favorite — the ribs and sweet potato fries are such a good match –also there salads are delish– thank you baby Jesus for this place or I’d have to cook every night!

Great meal. Great service. Food was top notch. I was not expecting such a nice atmosphere for a place called chop house. Great dining experience and we are casually dressed. Santa fa chicken salad was to large for me to finish the large plate.

Best food we have had in Pigeon Forge! We had a reservation, got here, and were immediately seated. Our waiter was wonderful; he kept the drinks flowing. We had a group of seven(5 under 17) and he got every order right. That is a miracle given all of the craziness at our table! Will definitely be returning next trip!!!

This hit the spot on a very warm day! They have a very nice lunch menu, I had the shrimp and crab cake and my husband had a Cuban sandwich. The kids menu Mac and cheese is not the Kraft kind, so much better and made in house. Very good! Will definitely eat here again.

An outstanding restaurant! Some friends who live in the area and come here frequently brought us here. Both my wife and I had the seafood Alfredo, and it was wonderful. We will probably go back while we are here.

After a long day of driving we needed a good meal, and The Chop House delivered. Kathy, our server, was excellent– pleasant, humorous, friendly, helpful, and above all, prompt and attentive. I ordered the seafood alfredo– what a great dish! A generous helping of lobster and crab meat in the delicious pasta– a bargain for the price. And the house bloody mary– a meal in a glass. Definitely will recommend. Overall great service and food at a very reasonable price. Good dining experience.

I am keeping in mind we got to the restaurant an hour before close on a Sunday evening. My prime rib was very tough, it was more corned beef than prime rib. It also had little to no flavor without drowning in the ok au jus. The bread that was brought out was actually very good. My husband’s ribs were ok as well, too sweet and cinnamon for my tastes, but he liked them. The service ok as well. «OK» is really what the experience was. I’ve had better and worse.

We decided to try this just so we did not have to go down the main drag. Glad we did as the food was delicious and the service was awesome. I had the seafood fettuccine and there was enough lobster and crab meat for two people. My wife had the grilled chicken and it was very good.

Good food, steak not the best I ever had but still flavorful. A little pricey but not excessive considering where you are.

Our last thing to do in Gatlinburg Tn. Is eat dinner. We decided to give chop house a try. When we walked in, we were attended immediately. Told us it would be twenty minutes. But we didn’t have to wait that long. The atmosphere is great. Nice. Low light. It’s a bit noisy. But what restaurant isn’t. If you don’t like noise then stay home. The prices weren’t that bad. We ordered crispy chicken tenders with sweet potato fries. 7 oz sirloin steak with Mac n cheese. A grilled chicken mozzarella with sweet potato fries. And bone in pork chop with baked sweet potato. The sweet tea isn’t that great. But if you have to use the restroom. Be aware that they maybe super dirty. Hopefully it isn’t that way all the time Other than that. The food was great.

The lamb chops(medium rare) were cooked perfect. The lamb comes with a creamy spinach side which I found to be greasy. I also tried the Prime Rib(medium). I liked the Prime Rib even more than the lamb. Sat 15 minutes later than my reservation. Pricey.

This is my favorite steakhouse in sevierville. The service is fantastic and the food is always done to perfection. The salmon is spectacular and the baha burger is one of the best in town. If you want the best steak get the horseradish crusted filet… omg delicious!!!

Started with a strawberry sangria which was perfectly fruity but not too sweet. The bread came out hot and fluffy with a butter that had a sweet honey flavor to it. I ordered a medium rare ribeye which was cooked exactly how I like it. The loaded baked potato accompanied that well and wasn’t dry. My date ordered the medium rare prime rib which was also cooked to perfection and very tender and flavorful. The service was fast and friendly. A great place for a nice steak dinner.

Almost a 4 star but more than 3.5. Haha. The clam chowder alone is definitely a 4 star. I had the shroud. It is a nice white fish. Portion was smaller than I was expecting though. The creamed spinach was pretty good; you can almost use it as a dip for the bread they give you, which by the way is pretty yummy also. I got to taste their ribeye & that was cooked perfectly medium. I felt it was enough flavor, since I didn’t need to douse steak sauce on it. My husband had the lamb chops. He enjoyed them very much. 1 of 3 was over cooked but our server was very kind about getting him another chop to replace it. Very decent house salad: good mix of greens, had shredded carrots & even bacon bits! Next time I’ll either go for my own steak or try their seafood pasta!

We visited Gatlinburg for our first anniversary. We found that most food in Gatlinburg bordered on terrible and wanted to get out of the town to enjoy a nice dinner for our anniversary. We decide on Chop House. We sat in the bar, ordered a bottle of wine and two steak dinners. Our server was very new to serving and had a few mis steps, but we just laughed about it. It wasn’t bad service at all, just funny.

I recommend this place. Great food and atmosphere and like many other places in area, will not break your bank account. The food is priced a few bucks higher than say Logan and Outback. I ordered the sirloin. I was pleased with the cut of meat and the temperature was spot on. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to the lack of seasoning on the steak. Otherwise, fantastic.

Just okay. Popped in for lunch while the kids went shopping. Had the buffalo bacon burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was very average with way too many spices. The fries were pretty good as was the chicken tortilla soup. The ambiance was also very nice. Just expected a better burger from a restaurant this fancy. Service was adequate.

I went here while visiting Tennessee with my family. A couple of my cousins have been here before and really enjoyed their meals and I agree that the food was great! We were able to get a reservation for 10 quite quickly as well. The turkey sandwich was pretty average and on the dry side but collectively our favorite meals were the seafood alfredo(small plate is still a good portion!), slow roasted prime rib sandwich, and we definitely recommend the mac and cheese or sweet potato fries as sides!(All sides are $ 3). Overall, the dining experience was great. The ambiance was a little more fancy than our casual attire, but for being in a touristy area there were many other casually dressed customers. It is a nice place if you are looking for some good American cuisine!

The service was impeccable. He was attentive and concerned about meeting our needs. The steaks came out perfectly cooked and seasoned. The only dislike I observed was the the Iced Tea could have been stronger. My waiter brought me a Coke as a replacement expeditiously.

Great food, big portions. Some people may complain about the prices but for the amount of food served there should be no complaints. Tyler was our server and he was awesome. Being from out of town we gave him a hard time but he was attentive and kind so props to him. The food was good, not great but then again I didn’t order the most popular plate offered so I’m not upset.

Everywhere on the internet says closes at 11 on weekends including there own website. Showed up around 1030 walked in waiter buzzed by and said we are closed and walked off. Manager walker up and said we are closed and I said your sign outside and your website says you close at 11. He said we are closed. I said you should update your website and your sigh outside and he laughed. Management like this I could not imagine how great customer service is when they are open.

Chop house has great pork chops hence the name. The server seemed really annoyed when I freaked out while reading their«über cool» menu… «WHOIS ‘JACK’ ANDWHATISHEDOINGONMYBISCUIT»… The way the menu item was described that was hilarious. I just had a salad which was ok. They got my «half&half» tea nearly perfect. I just found their pricing too high. Very Nice restrooms but the users kept getting annoyed that i was taking pictures.

Our server Peggy was friendly and super efficient. This was a great place to eat lunch before hitting the Tanger outlets. It was nicely decorated and clean. Peggy got our drink and food orders shortly after we sat. We ordered chicken tenders and pastrami sandwiches. I also ordered a side salad. Our main entrees were shortly served and it was pretty good. The chicken was not overly breaded and the chicken was super moist. The salad did not come out and she commented on that when she stopped by our table to check on us while we ate. I totally forgot I ordered it and she returns with the salad and says she took it off the bill because it was suppose to come out prior to the entrée. I did not complain about it and was surprised with their commitment to customer service. Thanks again Peggy!

I didn’t think much of the place because it was by the mall. But we were hungry and it was close. We went in and it was a nice place inside, we got seated and ordered a couple of drinks. I had the grilled grouper and my wife had the grilled pork chops. The food was awesome it was some of the best I had while in town. If you are around the area go get some!

Amazing! We were so hungry after shopping that we walked over. We looked at the Unilocal reviews and they seemed all right. Even after reading good reviews we were still impressed! The décor was very comfortable and classy. I loved the oil lanterns throughout the dining room floor and I especially loved the open kitchen. We ate lunch for around $ 30 including a 20% tip. I hate the burger and my husband had the turkey sandwich. Both were generous portions and perfect remedy for our hangover/hunger. We have recommended this place to friends and we will for sure be back.

Every time I go to the Pigeon Forge outlets w/my parents, we go to Chop House for lunch. Their location couldn’t be more convenient — about dead center of the outlets. Lunch specials are available every day and everything is reasonably priced at $ 8, $ 9, or $ 10. Service has always been great and friendly. STEAKBURGER W/FRIES — $ 9 Almost everyone at our table ordered this. Their steak burger is the most popular and the best tasting item on the menu. The 8 oz. burger incl. cheddar, bacon, and mushrooms. You can substitute fries for baked potato if you want. SIRLOINSTEAK W/BAKED POTATO — $ 10 The 7 oz. steak is pretty good too but I think you’ll be happier w/their steak burger. By the way, my nephew is allergic to eggs and nuts. We got confirmation from the kitchen that their complimentary bread doesn’t contain eggs or nuts. And the kids’ hamburger and fries are made w/canola oil.
