Stopped in on a whim on our second day in Fort Walton Beach as we had a hankerin’ for some Mexican cuisine. Service was good but a bit on the mum side. Though the freshly deep fried chips and the fresh made salsa made up for the lack of personality. Beer was cold and the Fajita Taco Salad me and the wife had was very flavorful and satisfying. All in all a pleasant dining experience. We went back one other time before we left Fort Walton and we were just as pleased the second go around. Great Mexican cuisine if you’re out of town and away from your local spot. The service the second time around was better than the first. I guess they considered us locals after the first stop in.

This review is for Cinco de Mayo only. I really like Peppers and consider them to be one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area. I called in advance to make sure that they had menu specials for Cinco de Mayo. They ensured me that they did. When I arrived, all they had were drink specials and one menu special which was a burrito. I expected better. Not much of a selection. I decided to leave and go to Pepito’s instead they had a full menu printed up for Cinco de Mayo. Take note Peppers, better luck next year!

Super good! I can’t even remember what I had, but I know that it was awesome. The food was so good it ruined the rest of my evening. I was uncomfortably full for hours. Every breath was shear agony. We had a huge party and the service was great and they served us with no issues.

Quick service, low prices and delicious food! You can be in and out in 30 minutes if you eat quick. My husband loves the choripollo, grilled chicken with chorizo on top served with tortillas. I usually get a combo plate because I can’t make up my mind! Without alcohol you can leave this place on a date for 2 for under $ 20 with tip! It’s crazy, but awesome since places over charge for food all the time especially because of beach towns. Very pleased! Have been here 3 times! We are originally from Texas so our Mexican food cravings are geared toward Tex mex not California baja.

A lunch with the family was very quick. Excellent service. The complementary chips and salsa are very good. We had queso as an appetizer and it was excellent. My wife had chicken nachos and sheoved them. I had enchilada supremo and it was also very good. The queso enchilada was the best. Kids enjoyed a quesadilla and chicken nuggets with no complaints. We would return if we lived in the area.

This was the second time eating at this restaurant. This was definitely not like the first time we ate here. Our server was slow and was not very attentive. I have seen the other reviews about how fast does service was, of course the service will be fast when the kitchen uses a microwave to cook the food. My burrito came out with a slice of overpowering American cheese on top. I had ordered a steak burrito but instead received a chicken burrito. My wife’s food was extremely Bland. Also the chips that they gave us prior to our main dish tasted as if they were burnt. We will not be returning.

Good food and great service. They have the whole ambiance going to include music and decorations. The service was excellent, my waiter was very personable and helpful but not overbearing. I had a michelada and my wife had a frozen margarita. My drink was good, not the best I’ve had but still good and fairly priced, large portion. The margarita was great with copious amounts of tequila. Their salsa was excellent, has that homey taste and we couldn’t get enough of it. We did order the guacamole and it was average at best, not bad but I wouldn’t order it again. For main course I had the seafood fajitas and my wife had the enchiladas. The portions were big, I couldn’t finish mine. Dishes were flavorful and well seasoned. They weren’t skimpy on the goodies for my dish like shrimp, scallops and fish. Had a good experience overall. Was there during peek hours Saturday night and it didn’t slow their service or neglect my table. I still have about 3 more local places to try but so far this one is leading the pack.

What a great find. Food comes really fast, tastes great, portions are above average, and service is friendly and always on top of refills for drinks.

Food was excellent! I got the Enchiladas Rancheras and they were really off the hook. I waited a little longer than I’d like to sit down and get a drink/order, but as soon as I did, it was quick. Nice casual atmosphere and decent selection at the bar.

Can’t get enough of peppers! I go at least once a week. Margaritas are bogo and are always perfect. Staff are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to make you comfortable. Have to special order my meal and never get charged extra when I add something. Really a great place! Food comes out extremely fast too! I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 10min for my food. Bar staff are great at conversation. Can’t think of anything negative!

Good Tex-Mex food. I went with my mom and we really enjoyed our food and the prices were great. The waiter was extremely friendly and the service was fast. The restaurant has a classier Mexican theme and the booths are really comfortable. I ordered the vegetable fajitas and I was impressed with how well the veggies were cooked and the variety I was given. The rice was actually flavorful and, unlike many Tex-Mex places, a small side of guacamole is included for free. My mom was thrilled with her chimichanga and said it was one of the best ones she’s had recently(she thought the sauce was on the spicy side though). The in-laws were in town recently and they went one day for dinner and also walked away full and satisfied.

Had a taste for Mexican while in the area and stopped at Pepper’s. I stopped in on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. The bartender was nice and attentive and I met a really nice couple also dining at the bar. Everyone, staff and patrons, was in good spirits and seemed to enjoy their time here. I enjoyed the salsa and chips, and guacamole. I also ended up ordering a mango margarita which was yummy.

On the plus side this was the fastest service I have EVER received. … On the down side… Wayyyyyy down side. It was the worst tasting food I have ever had… How do you mess up Nachos? I got the nachos grande. Yes, they were grande but also gross! Also, on the plus side it was Tuesday and my son ate free… Thank goodness it was free. Because it was straight out of the freezer section :(

Good, regonaly styled mexican food. Not authentic Mexico Mexican, not west coast or Tex-Mex but better than the average local Mexican. Very clean fast and friendly. Great drinks. They do know how to cook spicy and have better than average choices for vegiterians too. They accomidate special requests with a smile. Big groups seem welcome. It does get a little louder so dont expect a quiet dinner. Its not fine dining either but very comfortable and nice. I do hope you check them out because it is a good resturant. Just dont expect it to be just like home or grandmas because its not. Order a margarita for sure oh and the guacamole is really good too!

The mixed reviews really surprise me! My husband and I have been here numerous times, and have never had a bad experience! Extremely fast service, even when the restaurant is full! All of the staff we’ve had the pleasure of dealing with are really friendly and nice! My favorite dish is the Los Socios(Two large flour tortillas filled with grilled chicken, Mexican sausage, mushrooms and lettuce, topped with homeade queso sauce and fresh guacamole. Serviced with rice and refried beans.) I could literally eat that every time we visit Pepper’s and not get bored. The fajitas are also really amazing, but we’ve never had anything bad! I can be really picky with rice and refried beans, but I absolutely love Pepper’s! As soon as you sit down the waiter comes over to get your drink and appetizer order. By the time you’ve looked over the menu to get your regular order, the appetizer is ready. It seems that by the time you finish the appetizer your regular order is already out. Very fast, but the quality does not suffer with speed. It’s safe to say this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area.
