DeGraff’s

Very handy to get off I-​40 and back on again. We had a hamburger with fries, fish and chips and a Greek Goddess salad. It was all ok.

1^st Trip… Wednesday, January 20, 2016… First time going to eat here was an awesome experience, Queen filet was cooked to perfection and the fries are to die for. Salad was proportioned correctly and served with the best ranch dressing. Atmosphere was great and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. 5 out of 5 Stars!!!
2^nd Trip… Thursday, January 21, 2016… The second experience, we ordered the chips and salsa, shared a King size filet with fries and 2 tossed salads. Again, steak was cooked to perfection, fries were awesome!!! And salads well proportioned. Seeing that I just had the Queen size filet on Wednesday, the King size filet seemed to be the exact same size. I mentioned that to the waitress and she said that they changed the sizes of the steaks a while back and these are the new sizes. Well, I have never been there to experience or even know when the sizes changed. But I wasn’t a bit mad, or really even cared cause I knew it was gonna taste awesome… Well, the manager came by our table to just put his two cents worth in over the size of the steak. I never asked to speak to a manager, as I said, it wasn’t a big deal. It just surprised me as to why I would need to be told again. I just made a friendly observation. But of course the meal was awesome… loved it!!! Paid the bill and left 20% tip, as I know and understand the work waitresses put in as I have managed a restaurant and waitresses myself. She did an amazing job. Friendly and very knowledgeable. This experience would have to be rated a 4 out of 5 Stars!!! I wasn’t pleased with the interruption of the manager over the steak. As I said it was just an observation.
3^rd Trip… Saturday, January 23, 2016… Well, I guess you can tell I really like this restaurant. Best I have had since arriving at Shawnee in September 2015. This time I ordered online and picked up my meal. Ordered the build your own burger with Swiss cheese and side salad with ranch (of course). Then a side order of fries, as I said the fries are to die for… My husband picked up my food and it was all AWESOME with the exception of the salad dressing… They gave me French instead of Ranch, I guess maybe a easy mistake but a big mistake in my opinion. I don’t like French dressing… so my salad was not a hit. uneatable… Because I had no dressing… So. 4 out of 5 Stars! Because I didn’t get to eat my salad after purchasing it because I didn’t have the correct dressing.
Well, that ends my experience with DeGraff’s. I will be ordering again, who knows maybe tomorrow. Food is awesome!

Not only was their menu extensive but the food was delicious! Two dollar margaritas didn’t hurt either! The excellence of the food was surpassed only by their service. The bartender Bailey and the manager Chad made our evening with their sincere concern for our enjoyment of our dining experience. They made everything right with the world! The deep fried brownie with ice cream and whipped cream was to die for!

We went to DeGraff’s for a family dinner, and we couldn’t ask for better service! The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable about their menu and drinks. The food was absolutely delicious! The Elmer Fudd baked potato was loaded down with shredded pork; and the BBQ sauce the entire family loved! My Fiancé had the Bleu Bourbon Burger– and enjoyed every last bite of it. Our youngest loved the pepperoni pizza!

Yum! We tired this place today after a few recommendations and we were very happy we did! All of us loved everything we had for lunch. I had the gyro, hubby had the buffalo chicken sandwich and mom had some quesadillas. We tried onion rings and chips as well; everything, including service, was great!

Service was okay as the wait staff was spending more time socializing and on their phones then paying attention to customers (milennials, need I say more?), the potato chips and onion dip were great, cheese fries were awesome, sirloin steak was way undercooked so I had to send it back. They turned with a new steak and baked potato. Steak was cooked much better but meat was tough, just not a good cut of steak. Watched the Thunder double OT game and listened to live music. Decent night!

Elevated pub grub! DeGraff’s menu features a wide variety of delicious appetizers, sandwiches, and comfort food. Hubby had the sirloin special, done to perfection, and I had the super gyro, spiced up with pepperoncini (sp?) and roasted red peppers. Hand-​cut potato chips come free with the meal. They’re on the salty side but taste great with the French onion dip. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Even with a full bar, the restaurant felt perfectly appropriate for our 10-​year old. The staff laughed and joked with her and the local kids. Overall, a welcoming place to take a break from the road.

SO glad we decided to stop despite a couple of poor reviews. The food is wonderful and the service is great. Poor reviews must have been from competitors.

One of the finest restaurants in Shawnee OK. Excellent food, very good service and a comfortable environment. A very nice place to go when you just want something a little special.

Every single person I know in Shawnee is in love with this restaurant and I seriously can not figure out why. I’ve been there a few times really trying to find something worthwhile and finally have to just call it.
The food is mediocre at best with pre-​made burger patties and dry bland fries, pasta, and most everything else I have tried. The nachos were pretty good, but who wants nachos for dinner? The cocktails are weak, the service isn’t great. They are pretty flexible with large parties which is nice, however, the last time we were there we were given our checks and essentially ushered out the door 2 hours before closing. When we had intentions of spending a lot more money on drinks and food, I don’t understand why a large, well behaved group would be essentially asked to leave. Weird.
I’ll probably be back as, like I said, people in Shawnee have a weird infatuation with this place, but it will be grudgingly.

Shawnee loves a new restaurant and they create such demand during the honeymoon period. We were there once while new and then again later on, this time on their new deck out back. We love a good al fresco dining experience, and this one would be great if it wasn’t on the west side, wasn’t adjacent to the kitchen door, employee parking and trash. The management really seems to try, but the servers and average food tell us a different story. I want great dining in Shawnee, so I hope this place really ups their game to the next level. C’mon, guys!

Great Burger, quality ingredients, awesome beef! Amazing Handbreaded chicken fried steak & good gravy! Staff is very friendly & happy to have you. Even the manager checked in with us. Lovely ambiance, dark, cool & relaxing. Check this place out! Only downside is we can’t come back, we were just passing through the state!

Stopped here for a hot shit minute to grab a beer waiting for my friend whom lives in Shawnee to get back from golfing. Great place.

We love Degraffs! It’s by far a new Shawnee hot spot. Staff is always pleasant, the food is amazing, & the atmosphere is like classic tavern. We are regulars, love it!

Went here for a company event so we had the private room to ourselves. There’s a giant projection screen in there where we watched the Thunder game while we ate and drank till our heart’s content.
The waitstaff was wonderful and very good at checking in on drinks, which can be especially challenging for such a big party. The food was excellent, and the cocktails were superb. I highly recommend their Moscow Mule if you’re looking for an adult beverage here.
Be warned, the desserts aren’t messing around! You definitely want to have a friend to share them with.

The service was excellent. The steaks were really tender and moist, but the steak did not have a lot of flavor. The Mac and cheese was cold when I receive it. It was my mother –in-​laws birthday and the staff did not even offer her a slice of pie for her birthday. The staff hovered over you the whole time. Really too expensive for what you get.

I was pretty excited I eat at DeGraff’s. I have a friend that works in the kitchen and I’m always hyped about places that have «tavern» in the name. However, I was somewhat let down by my experience this weekend. The long and short of it comes down to the quality of service. I won’t generalize and say all the servers are bad, but ours in particular seemed a little scattered and my wife and I felt as though there were tables he was responsible for that were more important than ours. It showed in some of the balls he dropped.
At any rate, the portions are slightly small for the price, but I’m a fatty so I won’t fault them there.
Food– 9 out 10
Atmosphere– 6 out 10
Service– 4 out 10
You should still eat there though. The food really is good.

Food and service has been great the two times I have had the pleasure of visiting De Graff’s. I have been looking for a restaurant to make me feel like the education I paid for was not or nothing. Lately, food service has shown me they are losing their love for Culinary Arts.
Here, the tables aren’t crowded, they look beautiful. The lighting is chill, romantic, personal. I knew, as soon as the water bottle hit the table, I was in a place I could appreciate. It was fine already.
No teeny boppers. No gum chewing. No yelling across the restaurant.
I can only imagine what the line is like. I bet it’s delightful.
It isn’t too fancy here, though; they brought me the mustard bottle. ;)
ANYWAY, this time I have decided to just have a couple of drinks. So far so good.

I’m a local to the area my whole life.
This is exactly what Shawnee has needed for years and so glad it finally happened.
Great food from wide menu in a great atmosphere owned by great local people.

Great new place in Shawnee! This is just what Shawnee needed.
The food is great, the menu offers both high end steaks and entrees as well as more casual sandwiches.
The dining room is open and suitable for kids, there is also a bar area, with a few TVs but nothing that takes away from the atmosphere.
I highly recommend this to anyone
