We live in Trumbull but we choose to go to this Panera! The sandwiches are consistently tasty and the steak salad is great. Our church also gets their donations every Saturday which has been a great help to us! The staff is friendly and always put the customer first.

Good food and service. I am a regular here during intersession bust wished the Internet was stronger and faster. Other than that, I have loved egos place since it’s opened.

Second time in a row that there was hair in my food! The first was a hair on my plate under my bagel and just last night it was under the chicken in my salad. Really? I spoke to many of my co-workers about this and funny how they all have a «funny you mention it» story about hair in their food as well. Im too grossed out to come back to any of your locations anytime soon. It’s not that hard to pay attention to these things.

We just moved to Stratford so this is our local Panera. We’ve been eating dinner out… a lot until we can unpack completely. Went to Panera’s twice. First time was okay… decent turkey sandwich and okay soup. Second time was not so good. I ordered a BLT with chicken and avocado on grilled bread. We walked to the«calling area» and watched as two young people chatted and cooked. The woman making my sandwich was incredibly busy(they need more help); she wore a baseball cap to cover her copious hair which did no good as it was hanging out in many directions and lengths. I always thought it was SOP that«chef» wore hair covering and found it very unappetizing. Then she called us; the«to go» order was on an eat-in tray, the bread was not grilled and when we got home I found the avocado(about ½ piece, plenty large enough) was not ripe(had the consistency of an apple) and still had the skin from the pit inside. They are trying to do too much(the on-line ordering should have a dedicated«chef») and are not being careful. The only plus side was they had good manners and were very pleasant, but that’s not what we were paying for and will likely go elsewhere in the future. With so many«short order» restaurants on Bridgeport Ave. you’d think they’d be trying just a bit harder.

Tyler at the register is fantastic! And the food was great as always! Great day to sit outside on the patio!

The worssssssssttttt! Service at register was great but no matter what, I never get what I ordered! I asked for a chickenless salad and got no toppings! Soup filled up to half in the container! I don’t like a place where I have to check my bag before I leave with take out! Portions suck and they rush to get you out instead of taking pride in their food!

What a sweet Panera. Not only do they bring the food to your table, they also will give you a free treat if your order isn’t accurate. The workers are friendly, and, of course, the food is exactly how it should taste. Thumbs up to this place!

While I have been here many times, this was my first time actually sitting down. And it wasn’t even to eat! I got a iced green tea(my fave) and sat down to do… homework. I just became one of those people I stare it, and therefore would not have been mad if someone told me to, «Go home!» Which is what I always think :). They had a secluded section that I was able to find a table and it was for the most part quiet. An employee wiped down the table for me and even killed a spider for me. They are very attentive and cleared people’s food for them so they could just talk. The staff was really friendly and in good spirits. I won’t comment on the food or décor as it is a chain you have been to one — you’ve been to them all! It was a great experience and I will probably do homework there more often!

This place used to be good but now they have raised their prices, made their portions smaller, stopped taking pride in how they put their sandwiches together and if you get take out… they throw it all together in a bad in a gross way! I will NEVER go here again!

I really like panera! But this one is hit or miss. On several occasions, the food has be subpar and not even average. Sometimes the egg soufflés are overcooked or undercooked(yuck). I think a safe bye is the soup. Never have a problem eating their soup.

It’s Panera. You know what you are going to get. Pretty good sandwiches, salads, and soups that probably cost more than they should. Overall pretty good.

I was a regular and a big fan, but they have discontinued many of my favorite things this week. The quality is still high and the Shelton store has great employees, but I’m going to a competitor for a while. I’ll come back in a few months to see if things are more to my liking then.

Came for breakfast on a busy weekend morning… man! Talk about bustling… Nowhere near the offerings at say the Yale location Panera. And this place is located in a small strip mall location. But this bedroom community of NYC gets its fair share of biz. Prices are usually on steeper end, and it i perfunctory. Muffins are ok. Streusel coffee cake there is great, however.

Panera is always a better option than fast food. Being a work traveler, it’s a good place to hang. But this place seemed dirtier than others. I also noticed after I ate a lot of fruit flies flying around. You know WHAT that means. I hpe they all hatched before I ate there. I will not return to this one

We stopped at Panera on a weekend trip to Shelton for a wedding. We ate lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 1PM. The place was actually empty. I had an 8.50 turkey sandwich with avacado. A bit pricey, but it was very delicious. My husband also gets the asiago roast beef. We went way into the back to sit. The place was absolutely freezing. It had to be about 60 degrees in the place and the back room was really filthy. I would have given the place 4 stars for the sandwiches alone. But, between freezing our asses off and the place being extremely dirty… I’ll stick with the three. I’m talking the floors were caked in bread crumbs and every table in the back room need to be wiped down. We had to wipe down our table to even sit. AND, as I said, the place was empty.

On Bridgeport Ave there are so many choices of restaurants, and this one isn’t too bad for price and atmosphere. I enjoyed the food and the service. I came here for WiFi and to have access to the internet. I spent hours there trying to get access to the internet. Not even once was I able to access the internet. I write as a hobby so I like to do light research on the internet. Maybe it was where I was sitting and if I sat nearer towards Bridgeport Ave in the front I would have had access. WiFi is the only reason why I would go there, and I’d rather go to Starbucks for WiFi and food, and I haven’t used the one in Shelton, yet, but I’ve been to many Starbucks and I haven’t had a problem there. They have a nice comfy chair in the back which has a bad design for a cup holder. If only the cup holder had a bottom then any cup might fit whether it would be for a soda or coffee. Maybe at one time they had a detachable part that would fit all size cups only they got all messed so they were thrown out. Despite the chair’s defect it is very comfortable and a nice place, even private, to sit and enjoy a meal.

Better. The place has obviously improved since my last visit which was yet an improvement over the previous one. We sat outside on a cloudy and nice Fall day and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. It was busy and efficient. Keep on the good work!

Ah Panera Bread, I am glad I don’t live closer to you! Heavenly smells paired with great food and damn good coffee would make me bankrupt and large! This is one of the nicer Panera Breads I have been to recently. Nice staff who is friendly, patient, and quick. Last time we were there it was super busy and I think even the manager was out running around helping the cashiers get people served. The food is always good. I usually get an egg soufflé and a cinnamon sugar bagel. The soufflé is always great! I recommend the artichoke and spinach one, although the one with bacon is good because it has bacon of course! Coffee…MMMmmmm…Coffee…I love coffee, a little too much that is, and Panera has my favorite hazelnut coffee around! It is brewed fairly frequently and is always fresh. All in all, a great place for breakfast, or to grab bread(although a bit on the expensive side).

First time for me to experience Panera’s, but you know what they say«first impression is a lasting impression.» at first glance Pandera looks like the Starbucks of Bread, same type of interior, concept but for carbs instead of caffeine. I ordered the new Cuban Chicken on focaccia, to find out there is unfortunately NO! Cuban chicken right now. But there is Frontega Chicken also on focaccia… after we sit down and wait for our orders to be brought out we hear a loud yell that there is NO! Frontega chicken. Okay?! What then to order??? Let’s go for the Sierra Turkey, and for the inconvenience we get a refund… loved it! The breads are of great quality and the Sierra Turkey was alright. It did not really satisfy me, cause I was planning to eat the Cuban Chicken in the first place, but the Sierra became my third choice. Another sad thing was that one of the drinks we had to wait for, had a big long blond hair in it… NOTGOOD! Leaving the establishment I noticed that the floor was dirty and not cleaned for a while… so my first expression was not a good one I have to confess. Maybe next time it will be better, cause I will be back to try the Cuban Chicken on a focaccia…
