Famous Cafe Restaurant

I stopped off in the shopping center at the liquor store, and this wonderful smell was coming from this place. It was BACON! I entered into the café and was greeted by Karina WITH SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SMILE. She took my order and gave me her recommendations. I ordered my meal and gave this place a try. Now it’s on my radar.
Joseph came out with the trip kabob special which is well priced at $ 9.49. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The beef was cooked nicely without it being tough. The humus is amazing, and the rice is flavored and not flat flavored like rice can be.
I’m impressed and I love this place. I recommend it to anyone. You will not be disappointed. The people and service alone make it worth the trip!

Horrifying experience at this establishment. I ordered a veggie omelet, added ham, minus the onions. The significance is that they ARE able to handle special orders. It was my first time here and I did not notice the note above all the omelettes that says they come with your choice of cheese. The man (I’m guessing the owner) who took my order, neglected to ask me what kind of cheese I wanted, or I would have told him no cheese due to my allergies.
Upon receiving my omelette and realizing I wasn’t able to eat it, I took it back very apologetically and was met with a nasty glare. Then he grabbed the plate from me and threw out the food, went to the cash register and handed me a cash refund. I looked at him confused and asked if they could remake the omelette without cheese. He pushed the money at me again and proceeded to criticize and blame me for not reading the menu more carefully and refused to remake the omelette! I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant in my life. I’m still in shock.
I went up the block to Dennys where they always welcome me with joy and grace.

Nice family owned diner. Showed up at 1:30 wanting to grab a quick lunch. Service was fast. Food was mediocre. I ordered the chicken Ceasars wrap and I can’t say it was delicious. Portions are generous. Drive by, eat and forget kind of place.

Love their grilled chicken sandwich on French bread!!! Sooo delicious and quick service!

Great food! Eat here a few times a week! The people who work here are super friendly! A must try!

Wow !! always speechless after leaving this place never fails from omelettes, French toast, burgers, melts, and kabobs food always taste really fresh and on point
And the most important ingredient is the love that Karina throws in there when making the food

This little spot is across the street from our office… we go there EVERY day. whether it be for breakfast; with their delicious bagels and croissants and their omelette’s, everything fresh and made upon order at affordable prices, or their lunch… their chicken kabobs with the BEST hummus or their burgers and sandwiches or wraps. EVERYTHING is delicious and they will gladly customize your order.

Grilled chicken sandwich is fantastic! Super gr8 i r8 ⁸⁄₈ m8! The place does not look like much but the food is amazing! And pretty cheep as well

I frequent this place because it is a Mom and Pop establishment with good food, great prices and great delivery service. It is not a huge amount of food, it is just perfect. Salmon kabobs over tasty rice, hummus and salad, what more could you ask for except a little extra Pita bread. Fast and friendly service wins out every time.

I cannot say enough good things about Famous Café! Carina and her husband are super friendly and they make you feel like your are at home. Wonderful customer service and excellent food! I have ordered 5 different meals and have my favorites. Carina always knows how I want it and delivery is super quick! You have a customer for life.

Small place with BIG fresh taste. I have used Unilocal many times to find restaurants, but never to write a review. This place was awesome! Visiting from out of town and if I’m ever through here again, I’ll defiantly be back.

Wish it was open later but I always get the veggie sandwich and fries I love it here. The girl who works in there is super sweet and remembers my order. Awesome little spot on the go. Their breakfast is super good too! I always wake up with my dogs and they chill outside on the patio while I grab my food. The fries here are my favorite too I always crave them. I love this place so much. I eat here so much and never get sick of it! Their juices are really good too so fresh! Everything here is fresh that’s what I love about it!

The people are super nice and they have the best fresh squeezed orange juice In the Valley. And the breakfast sandwiches are pretty good.

Stopped in randomly to grab a bite to eat. Saw that they had a pretty good selection of burgers, breakfast bagels and salads. Their breakfast bagel sounded really good at the moment so ordered that. The serving was pretty generous. Came with a scrambles eggs, melted cheese and bacon. Overall would say my food was okay.

I am so glad I stopped by I had the best veggie sandwich I mean I haven’t had a nice great Veggie sandwich like the one I had today! It felt like a sandwich made From love!
And I was also happy because I bought an espresso and and I had to Sweeten it myself unlike Starbucks their drinks come already sweetened and so you are just drinking nothing but sugar!
I just love this place anyone should come and try the food here it’s fresh I give it four stars simply because I noticed things like Ketchup still contains preservatives and high fructose corn syrup and that I give it four stars. which is okay but the food? I am so impressed this is like the third time for me to come back that means the food is yummy, fresh, and. delicious! Yes :)

Clean place but horrible food. Just wasted $ 13 on canned mushroom soup and over-​salted raw kabob that I couldn’t even eat. It was my worst experience eating out! No wonder there was no clients.

Great little place in the a semi-​residential area.
Love their lattes. Great prices too.
Good selection of breakfast foods, sandwiches and salads, oh and don’t forget the delicious kabobs.

Horrible food, horrible service. I decided to come in one day because I live walking distance to this place. Worst idea. I got a «kabob plate» and I wish you saw what this plate looked like. Talk about instant rice and instant mashed potatoes. I have never heard of mashed potatoes on a Persian dish!!! The meat was under cooked and so small that I don’t know what I payed 9 $ for. I recommended you never go to this place ever!!!

I have to say from a local and wanting this place to be the bomb from it’s reviews, I was a little upset with what I ended up with.
In a hurry, and after reading Unilocal reviews, I read that their breakfast was the bomb and worth going to despite the bad location and minimal reviews.
I placed an order to go, the lady who answered the phone was kind. I ordered a breakfast plate and a breakfast croissant sandwich to go. And although the breakfast croissant sandwich lived up to it’s reviews, the breakfast plate did not.
Let me start off by saying, who wants to order breakfast unless they themselves don’t feel like cooking?
Well, the lady on the phone seemed thorough by asking how I wanted my eggs and what meat and bread I wanted, I asked for eggs over hard and wheat bread, though when I brought my plate home I had eggs sunny side up and no bread (though jelly and butter were present)
Honest mistake? Yea, probably. However if I based my rating alone on their cooking, the potatoes were bland bland bland and the bacon was really greasy.
I guess the worst part for me was having to actually put my eggs in a pan and cook em how I wanted.
I will be back and recommend this place for breakfast sandwiches but pass on the plate.

Love this place! The whole menu is amazing! The double cheeseburger is fulfilling homemade and very flavorful. If you stop by for breakfast, must try a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich! The owners are very nice people, you can tell they truly run the business for the customers and not just for the money!
