I ordered vegatable tofu soup for delivery and there was hair in it, i called back and the guy told me to go back to store for refund! If i was able to go to store I wouldn’t order it for delivery!!! You need the check your food before you eat it, i also post the picture of the soup with HAIR in it

Loved the food, prices were reasonable, and portions were also great. I would recommend to anyone looking for Chinese food in the area, and I would return myself.

For the price the quality and taste of their food cannot be beat. Their Mongolian Beef is my favorite. It’s so tasty and is not overly drenched in sauce. The hostess is very, very sweet and attentive. I go here for their lunch special which comes with a small soup, egg roll, and an entrée with choice of rice. It’s a lot of food for the price you pay. Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Sherman Oaks.

One of my favorite spots in the valley especially for quick delivery! Light yet delicious. The moogoo chicken is my favorite :)

Very healthy food… The Kung Pao chickens was super. Mongolian beef was average. stick with the chicken dishes. Soups were fantastic! Very friendly staff, very clean restaurant.

The girlfriend recommended this place to me. I’m glad she did. We went in around 7:00 on 11÷19÷15 and after perusing the menu we decided on the early bird dinner special: chicken and broccoli for her, Kung Pao chicken for me. The staff was exceedingly friendly and polite. The hostess was attentive without hovering excessively, and we were also waited on by the cook when the hostess was busy with customers coming in for pick up. The early bird dinner special is served with soup, egg roll, and what appeared to be some sort of beef dumpling wrapped in foil. All were delicious. The main course came about 15 – 20 after we placed the order and it didn’t disappoint. It was served on three oval plates so we could portion it out on our own dinner plates. We were happy to share our entrees with each other. My girlfriend’s chicken and broccoli was perfect; tasty and not swimming in oil. A lot of places have that chicken and broccoli that sits in your stomach like a brick, and I was pleased to find that that was not the case here. My Kung Pao was also delicious; spicy but not too spicy, and the right mix of vegetables that combine with the chicken and peanuts for that taste that makes Kung Pao such a staple dish. We will definitely be returning.

Quite frankly, I had never noticed the Healthy Wok even though I drive by it often. After a quick search on Unilocal for Chinese food in the Sherman Oaks area, I noticed the great reviews for Healthy Wok and decided to give it a try. The location is small, the décor is nothing fancy, but the customer service is phenomenal and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Dish after dish I was pleased with the food. No doubt I will be back… I have a feeling this will be one of my new favorites.

The food is both good and reasonably priced — the lunch and dinner specials are under $ 10. The portions are generous, and the service is quick and friendly(especially impressive since it’s only one woman who waits on the whole restaurant!). It’s no accident that there seem to be so many regulars dining here. If you find yourself craving Chinese food, I highly recommend Healthy Wok over chains like Panda Express.

This is a real time review. Walk in– quaint restaurant in the valley. Lovely greeting. Hot and tasty egg drop soup and egg roll. Didn’t know those items came with the lunch special. My orange chick me just arrived, took no time at all. First bite not bad. It does taste healthier than avg. maybe because of the name of the place. The soy sauce tho! #yum. Fried rice is good. I ate it all and I’m full-which is key. ALL for 7.95!!! Woot woot. I’ll be back if I’m in the area. Customer service was amaze balls. See ya!

Soooooo nice. The man taking my order over the phone was very patient and spoke slow and clear, and the adorable lady that delivered my food was so nice and happy I had a very pleasent experience. Great food and great people. Chicken fried rice rules!

We’ve been coming to this place for a few years. Predictable, nice place for dinner. Cashew chicken is always good alongside the bell pepper chicken. Nice neighborhood. The lady that takes your order is always smiling and has some kind words. Not a bad place to end your weekend, make sure you have plenty of water.

I love Healthy Wok. The food itself is great(if slightly less exciting than at some other restaurants) and much less greasy than at many other Chinese restaurants. The décor is nothing to write home about but it’s clean and inviting. Based on the food and décor I’d probably give it four stars, but I have to add a star for the INCREDIBLY sweet and friendly female owner, the low prices, and the fast delivery. I find myself ordering from Healthy Wok very often. Highly recommended.

Took a weekend trip to the beach and of course the 101 was packed on the way home. Wanted to take a traffic break and Unilocaled this place to stop for dinner. It seemed a bit awkward when we got there, totally empty and appeared only one employee was there. I asked the man for recommendations when he took our order, he suggested chicken in garlic sauce. So we ordered that, as well as shrimp fried rice, and lo mein. He went back to the kitchen to make our food then more workers started showing up… Apparently they were all out doing deliveries. A lot of take out customers showed up too. The food was really good and the workers friendly. If out in the valley I would go again.

Hands down the best Chinese food on the blvd. chicken breast rather than thighs make a world of a difference. My wife and I were looking for a small and not so populated Chinese restaurant that didn’t rely on its fancy font on the front sign or tried to sell you with some fancy décor. We found this place, small, simple, great service and delicious food. I don’t think we will need another place as long as we are in the valley.

Still the best Chinese food I have been to in LA! Great price, tons of delicious food options, wonderful service! Still one of the few Chinese restaurants to offer a Lemon chicken dish(better than orange chicken!!)

My sisters and I ate here for dinner. We weren’t that hungry but my sister Kim had tried this place before and is absolutely bananas over the wonton soup. She said the wonton soup here is the best wonton soup she had ever tried. Let me start off by saying it must have been good because I didn’t want to stop eating it. The broth is my favorite. All the ingredients blended well with one another. It bursts with all these wonderful flavors leaving the palate with a pleasing satisfaction. I enjoyed the soup but I probably would have enjoyed it even more had I actually been hungry. We also ordered chow mien which was yummy, too. We were all extremely full by the time the chow mien came so we all just took a bite and packed the rest to go. The service here was top notch. Our waitress was attentive, gracious, and did everything with a big smile. The food came out fast. We didn’t have to ask for refills on our drinks as she just came to our table and refilled it. Overall, it was a great first time here. I would totally recommend this place if you ever have a craving for Chinese food or if you’re just in the neighborhood. The food is good. The service is excellent and the prices are affordable.

There is an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks when it comes to Chinese food, many good places, though few are authentic or adventurous. Healthy Wok stands out among them for basic Chinese food at a very reasonable price. They do mostly a brisk take-out business with a very small staff, so sometimes the dining-in service is spotty, but they are quite friendly and the food is very consistent and fresh. They don’t serve any pork dishes here, and the menu is full of steamed and vegetarian choices, with no MSG. That’s the healthy part, I guess. Still, they have a good choice of dishes, including a wonderful Chow Fun, and they never disappoint with the dishes they do offer.
