I came here on a late Sunday night, the place was pretty quiet with two tables filled and a couple just leaving at the bar. You can tell the restaurant was built around the wavey bar that wraps in and around the corners. Half the walls in the place were chalkboards, listing either beers on tap or featured specials. I checked out the new menus Kaci posted in the pictures section. They were helpful and I was able to decide on the First Snap with sweet potato fries, even before arriving. What I wasn’t set on was the beers. They didnt have a beer menu on paper, I had to pick the brain of the bartender, who assisted me in setting on a bock. The beer was cold and served in a frosted mug. I learned the bar is changing ownership, so if any changes happen soon it’s most likely because of that fact. I learned they’re having live acoustic music the staff really enjoys on Tuesday night. On every Wednesday they have a special on fresh(not fried) oysters. I really enjoyed my burger(changed the cheddar cheese to pepper jack), the egg wasn’t over easy like I asked but maybe it was for the best. I tend two get messy. The burger came with jalapeño mayonnaise on the side, although this was untouched. I think I would return on a more lively night like when the acoustic band plays.

We were looking for a good burger for lunch. Boy howdy did we find it. It was called the First Snap Burger I believe. It was a ½lb burger with great crispy bacon and a fried egg on top. The only thing that it was missing was pickles. There are several burgers to choose from so if you are looking for a good burger fix look no further if you are in North Shreveport.

Very surprised with the quality of burger. My bartender was nice and attentive. The atmosphere was just to my liking. I’ll stop in next time through.

I hate to see the world differently than everyone else, but my experience has been different. The last two times we have been there were both disappointing. We live on the North side of Shreveport and there are still few eating places for bar food so we would like to patronize this place often. The biggest plus is the beer is cold and they have 3 standard domestics drafts and three somewhat more exotic(Sam Adams Octoberfest, BlueMoon) drafts. The«cons» are the food. We just wanted burgers. We both ordered standard burgers with three items. My burger arrived as a cheeseburger but the burger was barely warm. My fries were literally cold and uncooked(hadn’t been close to a deep drier for 10 or more minutes). My wife, who hates cheese, was served a cheeseburger after clearly telling the waitress«no cheese». Her fries were better but also not good. She sent her burger back and I had to send my fries back, and when returned with edible fries, the burger was completely cold. However I was hungry so I ate it. Delivery of our order was very slow. We were not alone. It looked like all the tables around us were looking at each order brought out hoping it was theirs. The bad burgers and two beers each cost us $ 30.00. Another bizarre thing is the pricing on beer. For Sam Adams, 12 oz costs $ 4.00(33 cents an ounce), 18 oz costs $ 7.00(38 cents), and a liter costs 8.25(25 cents an ounce). Usually, the more you buy, the cheaper it gets per ounce. Not here. So don’t buy your beer 18 ounces at a time… Either buy 12 or a liter and forget the 18 oz, Strange pricing!!! We want to eat here but last time, our two burgers(half pound) and onion rings and 2 each 18 oz premiums cost us $ 40.00 which is just too pricey for us for burgers and beer. Too bad. We will try to be happy somewhere else when we want dinner.

We were looking for an alternative to Buffalo Wild Wings(BWW) and this is definitely a good choice. Service varies… but better now that we know what section not to sit in. The food is amazing. The burgers are outstanding(have had several including the Juicy Lucy)…the wings are probably the best non homemade wings I have found. The nachos are outstanding. The chips are really great and it would not surprise me to find to they are made on site. However, we found the bottom of the bottomless chips and dip rather quickly. They have free wifi and additional parking in the back. If you are into it and as a nod to my friend who judges places on such criteria, they have Blue Moon on tap(I saw a 32oz mug), can make almost any drink you want… but no Coronaritas on the menu. The food is better than BWW by a long shot. One more note on the food, they have no dessert choices. I like the atmosphere at BWW(Boardwalk) better, but the lack of wait times and the better food make Fumblebrewski’s my new favorite Sports place. 31 Aug 2013 Edit: On previous visits we have found the bottom of the bottomless chips, but not on our last visit. Every time we go, we have noted an empty glass cake plate… but during our last visit there was something in the glass cake plate. Dessert maybe? They also have oysters on the half shell on Wednesday night. Our server told us you could/should call ahead and reserve yours as they sometimes run out. All-and-all my advice is if you want something not on the menu… ask. The staff is very accommodating and if they can fix it for you my experience is they will. Another reason to love this place!

I will be back. SOON. I’m already planning my next trip. The beer was cold and the wings were AMAZING. We had them«our way» and we also had traditional with their medium sauce. They were both awesome. I will probably order both again next time, although I may go with hot, as the medium didn’t have enough kick as I normally like. We also had the loaded fries and I must say, it was the first time I have ever had anything like this where there was an abundance of toppings. Usually I’m scraping around for cheese and sour cream or whatever… not this time. There was cheese and bacon and jalepenos to spare. VERY impressed. The service was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender took really good care of us. The food took a while to come out, but that only meant to me that everything was obviously cooked after we ordered it. The only drawback was the we came in to watch my football game and my husband’s playoff baseball game. But they closed at 10 since it was Sunday and we had to haul out of there to catch the end of our respective games. Our fault though, we should have checked their hours!

Was back in a coupla months ago and had the wings…2 words, Freakin’ Awesome! They can serve you wings that are sauced up and they have a variety of sauces to choose from… however, they also offer them«Our Way«I believe… tried ‘em and best damn wings I’ve had in a while! They are baked and come out dry but they are the most flavorful wings I ever recall having! DELICIOUS! Their sandwich menu is also outstanding… them sammiches come out overflowing with meat and tasty goodness! FYI, For smokers they have a screened in back patio so you can get that nicotine fix. Also extra parking located in the back. 1st time there just did drinks… but after the wings had to update to 4 stars!!!

I don’t live anywhere near this place so to come here takes a special trip. I was actually in the area on some business and made a point to swing by here for lunch. I really wanted to give their Juicy Lucy burger(with cheese melted on the inside of the meat of the burger) a second chance. On my first review, I liked the burger, but wasn’t blown away. It was still good, but I wanted to be blown away. I thought this trip may do it. Only when I stopped by here, l didn’t see it on the menu. Looks like they dropped the Juicy Lucy off the menu here. Being a special trip here and all, I just switched up. I l know that other stuff on their menu here, like the Pepperjack Razorback sandwich, is still delicious. I decided to go with a regular quarter pound burger that comes standard with their delicious jalapeño mayonnaise, American cheese and all of the other standard toppings(tomato, lettuce, pickle, onion) For 50 cents each you can add other toppings, which I did: a fried egg(Wahoo!) and chili(Wahoo!) That’s right! For a dollar extra, I got a fresh egg sunnyside up and juicy! And hot, spicy delicious yum-yum chili! ONMYBURGER… Aaaaaawwesome!!! The burger comes with either plain kettle style chips or jalapeño flavored. I chose the latter and continually dipped them into the side of jalapeño mayo. Jalapeño chips? Dipped into jalapeño mayonnaise… Isn’t that supposed to cause a rift in the time-space continuum? Ah, either way! Yum yum for my tum tum! I wish I lived closer to Fumblebrewski’s, ’cause I would be over there aaaaallllll the time! I would love to watch a game over there! And for those concerned that this is a barf, and it’ll probably be super-smoky and I don’t want to eat food where it’s all smoky and stinky. You needn’t worry about that! It is very clean and the air is very clear here, not smoky at all! And as far as sports bars go, this place dominates Buffalo Wild Wings! This place is so great, it makes me want to find a residence near it, so I can be closer… Really!
