Awesome food and awesome service. I needed a nice break from the fish I had been eating for every meal for the last few days so I opted for the black bean burger. It was done very very nicely! Some restaurants don’t do well will jazzing up veggie burgers but this one was done right. It had guacamole and some kind of sauce that added just the right amount of flavor to usually dry black bean burgers. The fries are also seasoned so well and they are delicious. My husband had a bacon burger and loved it as well. The mango margarita was very refreshing and I recommend it! The service is great. We were checked on by our waitress multiple times throughout waiting and once we had our food. We even had the manager stop by and ask how everything was. Great casual dining experience right in the middle of Siesta Ley Village.

Showed up at 11:30 was told the kitchen closed at 11 but there is no record of this anywhere. They really shouldn’t turn down business especially from tourist.

Our first visit to Siesta key. Took adult family of 6, sat at bar while waiting to be seated at a table. Sampled some drinks. Loved the live music on patio, and it can be heard throughout restaurant, very nice. Got a pitcher of Jalapeño strawberry margaritas, and they were perfect! Our party got the lettuce Mahi wraps, Cuban, tilapia tacos, and I got the fabulous Baja grouper. Everyone liked their meals and all had to try my grouper because it was so fantastic. Good service. Very relaxing and yet upbeat night place. Great friendly management. Memorable vacation meal.

We had a fantastic time here… Great patio seating and live music when we were there. The atmosphere was just what we were hoping for with a beach feel. I have no complaints about the food or drinks. Nothing stands out but if you are looking for good Mexican food with a fun atmosphere then this place is great. I think most of the food was fairly average but the chips and dip trio is pretty fantastic.

Really enjoyed our experience there. It was prime dinner time on a holiday and the wait was a reasonable 45 minutes. Enjoyed one of the best house margaritas I’ve ever had during the wait. We also got chips with salsa, guac, and queso that were all very tasty. Free refills on the chips and the dips could be refilled for $ 1.50 each. There was a gluten free menu, although not a ton of options. The mahi lettuce wraps were delicious. Live music was entertaining. The service was very good. We would definitely go back.

We were surprised at just how good the food was. Everything was delicious! So good that we ended up coming back here twice over the next two days. Best lobster bisque ever!

I have to give this place a 1 star for thinking their Margarita pitcher that fills 4 glasses is worth $ 45. Apparently, they are voted Best Margarita… which leaves me speechless. They must be the only Margarita in town to earn that honor. Nothing special here other than cool entertainment. The ridiculously overpriced Margarita is nothing more than average(ish).

How does this place not have over 4 stars!!! My husband and I await our yearly visit to Sarasota and specifically dining at this restaurant. He gets the fish tacos — he LOVES them, fresh caught grouper. I get the baja salad and add chicken — it’s AMAZING and delicious. They have great apps too. Reasonable prices, PERFECT location. I love that there is almost always live music. My toddler loves it here too

Perfect for me today after being on the beach! I was starving and this was close! Mandy was the bartender and she was full of pep, super friendly and made great recommendations. Had the rum runner which was awesome and the mahi mahi lettuce wraps due to my dietary restrictions/allergies. Delicious. The atmosphere is great, there’s music, indoor and outdoor seating, right by all the shops, and food and drink were great! I would definitely recommend and definitely return! Yum.

The Hub is probably a solid 3.5 stars out of 5 in terms of the quality of their signature drinks and food, but I am rounding up for the fun atmosphere and live music. They have excellent climate control(you can chill in the restaurant or warm up outside, and move between the two climes easily). The valet parking may appear to be a scam, but it ensures that you actually get a parking spot at the restaurant since public parking in The Village is lacking. We had the Siesta Key Seafood Pasta and the beef Burrito. Both were quite tasty with good portions. It’s best to come hungry, indeed. The pasta is a bit one note, the sauce, but it’s really good. The toasted bread adds a nice crunch and dipping element. The beef burrito tasted fresh. It wasn’t just cheese or meat or sauce; there are multiple flavors to enjoy. And the red beans and yellow rice are good as well. J Dubb’s Poolside is a decent kolsch beer. I like trying local brews, and this was good. A yellow lager, slightly bitter, but none of the hops flavor of an IPA. The Southern Twist and Hub Margarita tasted too much like alcohol. They get you silly, but they’re not mixed well. The Mojito is very sweet and tastes like a Starburst candy if that appeals to you.

This a great place for drinks and a quick dinner. The calamari was the best I’ve had in the area. The drinks were made perfect. Banana daiquiri, ice cold beers and the strawberry jalapeño margarita were delicious. Baja burger was on point. The fish tacos were exactly what we were looking for. Also a bigger than normal beer selection.

Great local bar/restaurant with great outside seating! Great beer and drink selection. Food was fresh and excellent. My bar tender Kim was great and on point. Only issue is parking

My wife and I were here, she ordered the pulled pork and I ordered the Baja burger. My burger was overcooked, tomatoes were old, and the coleslaw had a funny taste to it. I ordered fries to substitute for the coleslaw and after 10 minutes they arrived and we’re cold. One highlight of our experience was our server matt, very helpful and wanting to make our experience here better than it was. Probably won’t do this place again.

Giving this place stars for the AMAZING Management, plus their Cadillac Margaritas are to die for. Here in Siesta Key for a family vacay, have been going out every night here in the village for dinner. It’s Tuesday so of course we wanted Tacos. We were given an estimated 1hr wait for our party of 12, understandable. An hour or so have passed after we had ordered chips and salsa and two pitchers of caddy Margs and we went to check on the wait. The hostess I believe her name was Jessica(white girl with short curly hair in a bun w/glasses) was UNBELIEVABLY rude. I overheard her talking to my aunt and almost lost my shit and had to intervene and talk to her, her eyes rolled so far back into her head that I thought she was being taken over by the devil. We didn’t mind the wait but the attitude we could of gone with out. She told us the other table we were waiting for just got apps, that was after an hour of wait already. I asked to speak to a manager, chris and he has been wonderful! So accommodating. We opted to just sit outside on the picnic tables, although it had been raining earlier that day. He came out with cushions for all 12 of us to sit on to protect our bums. Also sent out gauc and queso, such a great gesture. Anyway waiting for our tacos. Will be back again because of chris.

We ate here on March, 192016. Party of 6. We hadn’t ate all day because we’d dropped off my daughter and grandson at the airport. My husband had the Baja salad with ground beef and started getting sick about 1 hour after we left. Got progressively worse over the evening. The others in our party did not have a problem but ate key west salmon salad, wings, pulled pork, quesadilla. We spent 3000k on our condo for the week and a day and a half was ruined for my husband. The icing on the cake was having a beer at another local establishment and mentioning my husband drinking water because he’d got food poisoning. oddly enough the bartender said that she’d been sick from there 3 times. Before she started working close by. I think that there has to be some cross contamination going on with the ground beef as she’d had tacos and nachos with beef. I tried to call but had no luck. Plan to stop in before we leave town. We spent 120 plus a tip for… yuck!

Very nice, reasonable and yummy and close to the beach. Four of us had the same grilled tilapia tacos with rice and beans and were very satisfied. Two of us had the house margarita which we enjoyed, and one had unsweetened iced tea which tasted fresh. Sat outside in the shade listening to live music. The only complaint is that there is no parking ANYWHERE other than the municipal lot which is several blocks away. But in fairness to the restaurant, NO restaurant has a parking lot in the Village, which makes it very inconvenient for visitors not staying at the hotels or condos in the area. Would definitely recommend.

I want to love this place. I really do. But I’ve probably gone at least 5 times now and the food is just always so… meh. It tastes like generic food from Applebees or something of the like. Basically, it will do, but if you’re looking for a fantastic memorable dinner, this is not the place. Burger for lunch? Sure. Drinks are also bland. This is a good spot for live music at night though!

We ate here the New Years Day for dinner. So many great things to say about this place. #1 The service was exceptional! I mean exceptional! Our server, Daniel was awesome! #2 The food and margaritas were wonderful! All of Daniel’s suggestions we spot on! Can’t wait to go back! The live music was great too! The manager came buy to check on things and he was very nice! The whole experience was phenomenal!(A little late on posting.)

Seems like a great place to drink. Food was average. Specialty drink menu was large and diverse with a lot of good tropical options. I would definitely go here again to enjoy some late night adult fun but overall it’s not a must for anyone visiting as there are many other options.

I should preface this review with the fact that we were so hungry by the time we sat down to eat here(which always makes things taste better). We chose this place because of the live music playing on the patio in Siesta Key Village. The scene was relaxed and the music was family friendly with more current hits. The food came out pretty quickly, which was a bonus since we were so hungry. I ordered the Mahi lettuce wraps. They were so good and two giant pieces of fish(no pics, sorry but I was so hungry). I definitely don’t think you could pick them up, but with fork and knife they were so yummy. My bf got the Baja fish tacos with the grouper. His was good, but mine was soooooo much better. I made the mistake of saying we could share entrees and ate mine first so I kind of wanted to steal my plate back.(Is that mean?) Definitely worth checking out. Drink wise I tried the cherry limeade but it was really sweet. Maybe stick with beer or margaritas if you want drinks.
