Daiquiri Deck Siesta Key

I do not know why i continue to come here the service is garbage everytime. Last time we were here had a big party the gave us enough tables for half of it. This tume just my girlfriend and I We sit down and wait almost half an hour before getting out menus and then another ten minutes before they take our drink order. This was my last time here place sucks

If you’re looking for tropical drinks and a fun atmosphere with live music this place is spot on. We had dinner there and it was fairly average in terms of food. I was not impressed at all with the grouper I ordered although it is supposedly fresh daily. Everything else was just average which is probably to be expected here, but I do think they have a nice variety of options available.

What a truly terrible experience. My wife and I both ordered wraps while she had a daiquiri and i ordered a beer. While my wrap was about 90% onions, 8% green peppers and 2% meat, my wife’s was even worse. Hers was a nauseating balance of grilled chicken and rotten lettuce. We both ordered fries with our meals-​I never received mine and after tasting hers, I didn’t even bother asking for them. They tasted like 2 day old frozen crinkle fries covered with Lowry’s seasoning. But it gets even worse. We couldn’t even have a conversation about how terrible the food was because the speakers were blasting the most horrific «music» that I have ever had the misfortune to hear. If you are interested, the «singer’s» name is Miles Bosworth and boy is he terrible. It is almost worth going to see him just for a laugh (skip the food obviously). He is like the Neil Hamburger of singing. He can butcher any song from Paul Simon to Hootie and the Blowfish and he will play a few original «songs» as well. Anyway, if you do decide to eat here just remember that I warned you.

This is a nice looking place. The vibe and the music is very relaxing. I felt like I was on an island in the Caribbean. I had the lobster tail which was delicious. I’m giving this place two stars for two reasons. First is that when I ordered my meal which came with a side, I ask the server if I can add an extra side to my meal and if I can get sweet potatoe fries as a side and she said yes. But, the sweet potato fries are only available as an apatizer for $ 8 bucks. She should of told me that before letting me order it (The manager removed the charge after I made we aware of the situation).
The second reason is because they have a buy 1 get 1 free Daiquiris for happy hour. My fiancée had purchase 1 at full price before the special started and then waited for happy hour and bought the buy 1 get1 free special that are served in a smaller cup. When she pored the two smaller cups into the bigger cup she purchased at the original price, we noticed that she received the same amount of Daiquiri. In reality she got the same amount with the special that she got at the original price, what’s up with that

We look forward to coming here every summer. I can’t speak to the food but they have great drinks with such a fun atmosphere. Great for date night or partying with friends.

Food service was great, the server was very attentive and food cook to perfection. I have been a chef for 8 yes and bringing my fiancé here was a great choice.

Daiquiri tasty!!!

Yep! It’s a drinking place. It’s called the Daiquiri Deck. Happy hour is amazing! Waitresses are friendly and service is good. There is food… it will soak up the alcohol. After all the Spring Break stuff is over it’s a mixed crowd. If you are on Siesta for a few days make it in during Happy Hour.

Great strong daiquiris, outside seating is a plus. Can’t go wrong for happy hour. We mainly stopped in for the daiquiris, but also shared the buffalo shrimp appetizer which came with a garlic buttermilk dressing. Nice little bar food appetizer to line the stomachs. I would recommend stopping by if your looking to have a good time. They also have nightly entertainment (beer pong, trivia, flip cup, karaōke) If you so desire!

Jeff ordered salad, nothing else to say on that. Jacob ordered kids hamburger again it’s just a hamburger. Jill ordered Tuma with wasabi mayo which is the winner! Jason and I both ordered Crab Cake sandwich, nothing earth shattering but tasty. Great atmosphere to start a sunny vacation! Now beach time and treasure hunting

Convenient, right on the main strip in Siesta Key.
My husband and I got a table overlooking the sidewalk. Good people watching. Service started off and stayed slow. Our server was odd — hard to connect with, did not engage us in any sort of conversation.
Enjoyed the banana daiquiri I ordered and my husband enjoyed his cold Budlight. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. My husband ordered shrimp and fish with fries. The fries were your run of the mill, dump a bag of frozen fries in the fryer. Not great. Grilled chicken was OK. Shrimp/​fish was OK.
Overall, it got the job done but nothing to write home about. It was our first meal in Siesta Key after driving for 14 straight hours so we were just happy to relax and eat.
Also, the bathrooms were dirtier than most of the gas station bathrooms I encountered earlier that day!

I really like the atmosphere, very laid back and friendly. The food was nicely prepared, I had the Tuna Burger.
The daiquiris were nice, we shared a 32oz pitcher (Strawberry) then I had the Swamp.
The waitress was busy, but pleasant.
Would have earned a 5 star but had the following issues from the kitchen:
1. Incorrect order prep, we ordered fruit not fries for our kids meals. They both had fries, had to send them back.
2. My Tuna burger was delivered to another table and I was the only one with no food. The food runner from the kitchen did not take the time to see about my food. The waitress did come over and addressed the issue and my Swamp was on the house.
Will be back in the future.

Super cool place! lots of drink flavors. they didn’t tell us when we ordered, but it was happy hour so 2 daiquiri’s for $ 6 (even tho it was the little ones so it pretty much equaled 1). we ended up with 4 drinks between the two of us and tried to chug them down. would like to try more of the flavors. very sugary.

Let’s be real about this place. It’s a spring break bar with drinks that ensure you’ll leave sh*tfaced. The deck diesel is an appropriately named concoction that leaves you wishing you had ordered rubbing alcohol instead. But it is what it is. I’m not sure why people want to come here for food. It’s a bar. And a relatively fun one at that. I’m sure I’ll be back, and I’m even more sure my memory of the place will be just as foggy as the last time.

I’m going to give this place a 4 star review but 5 stars for effort. They do a great job and it shows, I just have had better food and shouldn’t give 5 stars. Actually I’m changing it, you know what you are getting when you go to a damn daiquiri deck! If you want white table clothes you are pretty ignorant to expect that level when stopping here.
What else to do at a daiquiri deck than order frozen drinks? We had a few and they were all good. I would have liked some addition booze in mine but they were tasty on a hot day! Wife was perfectly content with hers.
Apps we had the seared tuna and mahi bites. The tuna was a fresh seated perfect med-​rare to rare and very tasty. Crusted with black pepper corns made this a tad spicy but I like hot! The blacken mahi bites were also cooked perfectly and just the right amount of heat. Pretty decent portions for both. I was surprised by the portion of the mahi. Pretty generous. We opted for salads and both were great. Very fresh and they accommodate substitutions. I opted for the steak salad and replaced the steak with sockeye salmon. The salmon salad just didn’t have the veggies on it I liked and wasn’t feeling the black bean and corn salsa or the pineapple mango it came with. Salmon was perfectly cooked and you could tell it was sockeye! I eat sockeye a lot. Wife got a traditional caesar with grilled mahi. Another good salad with perfectly prepared fish.
To sum it up, way better food than I anticipated from a daiquiri bar since we have fallen short at a few places that one would seem to have better food. Go here open minded and try it all. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and it all looked great. Above average food for even the best of places. Good portions, decent prices, great service and I huge deck to enjoy the weather. I’ll be back, baby! Haha

We visited DD again this past week. Great place for getting drinks or food after the beach, or stop by for late night drinks and fun!

Absolutely the worst, don’t waste your time or money. We haven’t been here for awhile even though we are local and have ample opportunity simply because we’ve never gotten good service. But despite my misgivings, we took my Mom here for a quick bite and beer. Ha ha. Waited at the top of the first set of stairs, hoping one of the 4 girls chatting amongst themselves would offer us some direction as to wether we should grab a table or wait to be seated. After standing around uncomfortably for a few minutes, My husband went to grab a table. As we started past the four girls, who obviously knew we were standing there, the «hostess» asked us «Can we help you?» With the obligatory eyeroll since we were obviously going to grab a table. My husband said «should we seat ourselves?» Which was met with another eyeroll and the response… «Why do you think we are standing here»…
Oops, forgive me, seeing as how all four of you (2 hostesses and 2 servers) are doing nothing but ignoring the 3 seated tables around you. So sorry to interrupt your conversation. No wonder it was the emptiest place on the key at 5:30.
Give it a try anyway, right? Everyone has a bad day.
Shame me twice… No one came to greet us or take a drink order or stop by to say «oh hey, your server is busy, but I can grab you a drink…» Great teamwork cause no less than 5 servers and 2 bussers walked around us pointedly ignoring us until we finally walked out, our sever wandering out behind us to tell the hostess her table «just left».
Great job daquiri deck! You certainly don’t disappoint in your consistent lack of good service. Or any kind of service for that matter.
Walked across the street to Flavios Pizza and had awesome food and service, which I do have to thank you for because without your lousy attention, we probably wouldn’t have stopped there tonight.

a perfectly situated place with excellent food and excellent table service. So, why the three stars? hostess needs lessons; 2 for 1 happy hour needs to allow two different daiquiri flavors: if a table is open then you let smaller parties use it

Came in for some drinks. Too early for HH, the frozen drink choices were about $ 7 each. HH is a much better deal. From 3 – 7.
Service was friendly and excellent. Manager came over after awhile to make sure we were taken care of.
They have several locations and I liked this one way better than the St Armand’s one.
My drink was called, pain in the ass. A piña colada married to a rum runner. Delish! Hit the spot after being on the beach in 200 degree weather.

Yo, this place is the bomb for Happy Hour!
