This restaurant supports open carry, and has a placard in the window. This means they support allowing people to carry hand guns in public for any reason. I will never give them my money.

This place was full, and I mean full, of locals the night we dined there. The service was excellent, the food was great, and the atmosphere (families everywhere around us) was festive. I enjoyed wine, as they offered beer and wine, although it appeared that most people were enjoying non-​alcoholic beverages, punctuated with the occasional beer. My husband ordered a red chile beef dish with tortillas.

We have eaten here many times over the past 40 years. Very good food, but the red sauce today was UNBEARABLE !! I had to leave the tortillas that were covered in it. And I can eat pretty warm red enchilada sauce

Awesome New Mexico Enchiladas! Wish AZ could make a place as good as these so I could have it every week. Good service, great food!

Coming from south of Tucson and spending the past 10 years eating Sonoran Mexican food this was a great treat! From the minute they put the salsa on the table I felt like I was home. I grew up eating the Mexican cuisine found in Colorado and New Mexico and the food at Jaliscos brought me back to those roots.
I had the beef enchiladas smothered in green chili and couldn’t have been more pleased. I added a Tecate for my dining enjoyment and it got even better. It was spicy hot but I think it seemed that way because the Sonoran food I’ve been eating
may be milder in general. The taste was not diminished by the heat and I think the flavor of the green chili made the meal and my visit perfect.
I’m only here for a few days but may visit again. The waiter was attentive and gladly altered my husbands order to fit his dietary restrictions (no corn).

If you’re in Silver City and wanting Mexican food and a beer, this is the place. Yummy New Mexican cuisine with choices of green or red chili to smother your burritos. The guacamole tostadas are great and slightly spicy. Several vegetarian choices. Service is super and friendly. Salsa is ok.
