Fantastic selection of premium cigars in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Shaun recommend several to select from and was patient and extremely knowledgeable. I picked a medium body green label, had a seat in a comfortable leather chair and fired that puppy up. Nice, smooth draw and creamy flavor with no burn at all. Burned even the whole way down. Great place to slow down and chill for a little while and meet some cool people.

Cortez is the pure representation of what a cigar lounge should be, camaraderie and family (and obviously great cigars!). Cristian and the rest of the gang are just the best, and friendly as can be! The cigars are 100% Dominican and 200% excellent, ranging from medium-​low to full body, and with different blends that showcase the quality of Dominican cigars. A definite must if you are in the area (and even if you are not).

Cigars are mostly meduim and great selections. Excellent location and well knowledge staff. Sean was on point and even honored a coupon I got today that had expired. Nice small lounge with sports on the television. Will definitely go back.

So excited for a convenient cigar place in Silver Spring. With a bunch of comfy leather chairs and rustic atmosphere. Try the Shaggy Foot. I will be back when I’m in the are again.

I love me some Cortez Cigars!
The atmosphere is amazing with dark wood, exposed brick, and leather couches — just the perfect space to enjoy your favorite cigar. If you want, you can also catch the game on their big screen TV or take advantage of free WiFi. But the best part is that we were greeted with the best service. Russ, the cigar attendant, was nothing short of amazing. He was super knowledgeable and friendly with recommendations and advice.
Cortez Cigars is a must-​stop. I’ll definitely be making this place a regular spot!

My wife and I had Cortez Cigars come to North Carolina and roll cigars for our wedding. They were a huge hit and all of our guests enjoyed their cigars. They rolled cigars for 3 hours and educated the guests on the entire tobacco process. The men all agreed it was the best thing they had ever seen at a wedding. Their prices were very reasonable and they even offered a military discount. Their interaction with our guests was great and many of the cigar aficionados at the wedding raved about the cigars they made. Gents, this is the best purchase we made for our wedding, and Cortez Cigars exceeded all expectations. Cortez Cigars has my highest recommendation for anyone looking to offer guests and friends a truly memorable, interactive experience.

An incredibly mild cigar with a strong earthy feel. We bought when Cortez exhibited at Tyson’s Harvest Fest. These cigars paired well with some local brews.
