Isaac was very polite and had patience while we picked the right mattress. He also gave us good feedback and we walked out with 2 mattresses. Will come back if I ever need to make another purchase. good prices.

I had a great experience here working with Orville. Mattress shopping is incredibly frustrating for me because I feel like the mattress industry purposely withholds information from consumers and operates under a veil of secrecy. They name the same mattress 10 different things and you never know what you’re really getting. However, I felt that Orville at this Silver Spring Mattress Warehouse listened to my frustration, understood that I was willing to pay for quality if the quality was legitimate and showed me the type of mattresses I expected to experience. I ended up LOVING one that turned out to be a Serta «Perfect Day» which was (at the time) one of Serta’s top of the line products, designed for Wyndham hotels. I could not afford it, but Orville asked me if I would «mind» having one in the prior model year’s color; he said he could sell me the older version– brand new– for $ 600 less. (the 2009 version was off-​white with brown trim and accents, the 2010 was off-​white with blue.) I was stunned– did I mind? HECK NO! We ended up having to put this mattress in storage after only a few months of use because we bought a house and the master bedroom is too small for it :(. But I went back to Orville to try and get a new mattress. He didn’t have anything that I would want in my price range but told me what to look for. I ended up purchasing from somewhere else, but I love him for helping to give me some mattress education. I called him today because its time for us to move our oldest son out of his toddler bed. I highly recommend Orville at this store!

Not to be confused w/​Mattress Discounters. They supposedly have better prices than Mattress Discounters.
Anyway, I decided to return to a twin bed from a full. I just wanted more space in my room so I hit them up. My advice is to just tell them what your range is or else they will start you off over $ 1000. No thank you. I played with the one where in the commercial they jump and the wine glass doesn’t move for a bit. It was strange and god knows what chemicals comprise it. I knew I was gonna go w/​Serta or Sealy only cause my mother said you always buy those mattresses because they are good.
So I went with a twin Serta for just under $ 500, very comfortable.
It was delivered 2 days later, quick, efficient, and my back doesn’t hurt anymore.
Now the best part is as I was paying, I asked the guy if it was made in China b/​c I really am trying to buy American these days, and lo and behold, all Sertas are made in my home state of Maryland!!! Yup, the factory is in Landover. Skins & Serta. Hell yes!
