Hot Tequila

I hadn’t been into hot tequila until this past Friday, & the ladies review before mine, Kristina’s, honestly scared me. I was like dang, doesn’t sound like a great place to go, & obviously the food isn’t good either. The picture she painted was pretty clear, no seating, mainly bar, or by pool tables. I expected to walk into a bar with some restaurant seating by some tables that were directly in your face. WRONG– right when you walk in, it’s a open concept. Pool tables to the left, 3 booths to the left of the pool tables. A good amount of space from the tables & the booths, 3 TVs in the pool area. Straight ahead, a small bar off to the front right, with the bar area, few tables in the bar. Or you can go right, to a wide open dinning area, open bright lighting & a patio off of the dinning area that opens in the summer. Tvs everywhere, & the girls are wearing dresses, quater sleave dresses that are a few inches above the knee. When I was in there, there was a table of an elder couple, the bar had a few patrons & there was a booth in front of me two gentlemen, & a booth in front of them with a family. This was about 5:30pm? Before it got busy, nice, quite, peaceful. Had the street tacos, they were yummy with the onions & cilantro. My waitress was attentive, but not too much. The tacos came out quickly. & my Melon margarita was YUMMY!
Like I said, I’ve never been but I like to give places a try. Hence the name «hot tequila» you would expect something along the lines of what it is, & I don’t see anything wrong with it. Silverdale needs something like this, fun & inviting to young men&women looking for some excitment, but yet family friendly at the same time.

Me, my best friend and daughter who’s (13) decided we were hungry after doing some shopping in town, and seen this restaurant across the way, and thought we would try it out.
Atmosphere– NOT KID FRIENDLY. I had no idea there would be half naked «girls» running around serving food. I mean if I was a man, had no kids, and was wanting to see a free show, than I would have enjoyed myself. And, at first when I walked in, I legit thought I was in a bar, and was scared to walk in, we nicely asked if children are allowed in here, and she snubbed and said, «um yeah, we serve food.» That should have been enough to send us running, but we were hungry and too tired to be looking anywhere else. the typical customer here seems to be college aged men (we were the only lady customers)
Seating– l sincerely thought we were in a bar. seating was limited to bar area, or by pool tables. We decided by pool tables (big mistake) if you want to constantly watch for a pool stick in your face, and staring at bums all day. than I guess you might like those seats.
Servers– I had to do a double take and search for a stripper pole. these woman were dressed in super tight, super short dresses (if she dropped something on the floor, you’d see EVERYTHING when she grabbed it) she was very prompt to get to our table, although she looked very uncomfortable once she got to us. she made very little eye contact, and seemed very bothered and irritated with our questions about the menu.
Food– Yikes. here’s the real down fall. I thought maybe the food would make up for the lack of everything g else. Um, no. Me and my daughter ordered chimichangas with shredded beef and enchiladas with ground beef… and side of beans and rice. The chimichangas were literally crap load of nasty fatty dry shredded «beef?» And NOTHING else. Literally meat and tortilla (which I’m assuming a 3 year old wrapped) the enchiladas were filled with nasty old blended chalky beef. NO flavor.the «sauce» reminded me of tomato juice. from a can. The rice I’m pretty positive was uncle bens. The beans were too runny, and bland. My friend had chicken «street tacos“with salad, the chicken had me thinking of wet cat food. and the salad chopped straight from the bag. and she explained they tasted pretty much just like that as well. and when she asked for limes, she got dried out brown «bar» limes.
Bill was almost $ 40.WAY too expensive for the quality. (We only had water)

Please put a sign up that warns those with families that your girls are practically naked.

If you want somewhere laid back to come and watch the game that has multiple tv’s this is a decent spot.
The food and service are decent but I’d stick to the wings as the burger was just ok. Drinks were good as well but to be honest I was completely distracted by the game to notice much else.

The only reason why my friends ended up going here was because it was fight night at bdubs. I, at first, didn’t mind going to Hot Tequila since I’ve never been here before, but I soon rescinded that comment when we got there. The bar area was cramped and the alternative route to the dining tables were blocked by people trying to get their salsa and chips refills. That area was messy and crowded that you can’t pass through without making body contact with a stranger. Eh. I thought it’d get better once we were seated and had gotten our drinks and food but that was wishful thinking. Our server was was spouting obscenities and couldn’t stop complaining about how she did not want to be there. It was very unprofessional. I ordered a 16oz strawberry margarita and that turned out surprisingly good. I However, the chicken quesadilla I ordered leaves more to be desired. It was soggy and bland. I ended up giving it away because it was just terrible. The whole atmosphere of the place was uncomfortable. There was this lady in a group playing and laughing obnoxiously with a kid and no one said anything. The place wasn’t welcoming; it was suffocating and annoying and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I’d advise you to not even bother coming here. But if you still want to give it a shot, I suggest you take the booths in the back, where the pool tables are at. That area looked a little more clean and peaceful. I’m not tempted to test that though.

Love the girls, they’re always so sweet! It’s only the food that’s crap… the food is crap, bro! Listen to everyone here. all you can eat wings on Thursdays are terrible. Can’t stop crapping. It’s why I’m writing this, I can’t sleep. My gf is getting the brunt. Blaming the cat stops being funny after a while. If I were 75 or an adolescent I’d probably be much worse off. I second the person that said they’re unattended to. Crusty ass lukewarm frozen from the grocery store BS. I knew better but fuggit; I risked it and payed the price of a room of fog and grumbles. Thankfully I’m a strong hard man able to fight off this chicken bacteria or whatever is eating my insides right now. Buy a beer, let the servers be lovely, play some free pool & TV then GTFO. Unless you’re still waiting on the pizza you ordered delivery.
This place just needs to have all their lovely staff sign up with Munchery and just have them pickup food elsewhere. That seems to be easier than learning how to make good food.
All’s good but the food and the hypnotizing delay with the different audio lags playing the same channel on multiple tvs. Leave one on and mute the others. Don’t make me do it every time I come in.

I ordered the asada burrito the meat was cut smaller then even the beans no flavor what so ever lots of rice inside (filler)drinks ok sevices was real good never the less as far as the food goes very disappointed I rather have a smaller plate of and have it taste good then abunch of filler no meat and no flavor.

The California Burrito was probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. I moved here from San Diego so maybe not fair to be that harsh but it is what it is. It was so dry I had to ask for some sour cream and guacamole to dip it in. The salsa was pretty good, had a nice kick to it. But the tortilla chips did not seem to be made in house, more like bought a bag at Costco or something.
The WORST part of my visit was the band that was playing there. I was there on Friday 10÷23÷15. It was some percussion band (Bass guitar, Xylophone, and Drums), no singing, and was basically 3 guys beating and banging making noise. Completely impossible to hear a word my friend was saying. By the time we left (around 7pm) the place was EMPTY due to the noise coming from that band (in my opinion).
The waitresses were good and were dressed in skimpy little nursing uniforms.
The Queso dip was pretty good.
I won’t be going back.

Great location, plenty of parking. But there is seriously something missing from this place. The «margaritas» are straight from a plastic bottle. The beer is ice cold though so that’s a plus. But the atmosphere here sucks and it is severely lacking in character.

Please don’t waste your time. All you can eat wings came straight out of a bag from your local grocery store and they were lukewarm and unattended too. The Caesar salad was HORRIBLE! You could literally buy bagged Caesar salad and it would taste better. You would be better off going to the McDonald’s next door because at least they have ice cream.

I had the 3 Street taco special and it came quick. The chicken mixture was nicely seasoned and moist. 2 Tvs showing adult shoot up type movies not appropriate for children. Found a rock in my taco. Service was quick.

Service was great. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant is clean. Drinks were good. The wings were good. The only reason we didn’t give five stars is the quesadilla was really greasy and the chicken was missing on half of it.

Cadillac Margarita was $ 8.50 but tasted like a $ 2.00 Happy Hour Margi. Food was not so good, missing items the menu stated would be on dish. Replaced with a different item which was just okay. The staff was very cute and nice, but not too knowledgeable about what was being served. I asked to speak with a manager or owner, none were on site. The bartender was nice and did listen to my complaints and suggestions. I think this owner should watch a few episodes of Bar Rescue and listen to what John Taffer has to say.

We ate here for the first time on Friday the 27^th. the salsa they served with the chips was the only true good part of the experience.
the chips were over done. The quesadillias, and the nachos were less then mediocre. no flavor and no eye appeal. The service was less then average. The uniforms are not provocative or risqué they are cheap and slutty. your priority should be to promote food alcohol and sports, not tito and ass.

The service was terrible! The waitress flirted with the other customers as well as my husband forgot to put our order in to the kitchen so we waited for 30 minutes when we were the only people besides one group of three in the whole place. When we finally recieved our food my husbands burrito was cold and not cooked all the way through and my fajitas tasted like they were cooked in watered down tomatoe sauce. I would not recommended it.

The food was not good. Here I thought I would be going to a Mexican restaurant and in reality there wasn’t much Mexican food as I thought there would be.
I was kinda disappointed.

My husband and I love Mexican food. The Silverdale Los Cabos has been changed to Hot Tequila a Mexican sports bar and grill and we wanted to check it out. We figured it wouldn’t hurt to at least try.
We walked in and I thought the hostess must have been wearing a mini skirt behind her apron. Following her to our table I was so wrong. All of the waitresses were in booty shorts and belly showing shirts. My husband and I felt very uncomfortable and so was not expecting that. You’d think there’d be something on the sign advertising the skimpy uniforms.
The menu and their tequila selection was small. There were a few gluten free options like you expect at Mexican restaurants. The salsa was good, but we had to really salt the chips.
We split a combo plate and each had a cheese enchilada. It was very disappointing. The cheese was not melted completely and tasted cold. Thankfully the tequila shot made up for the food.
The service was good. The waitresses were attentive. We had two that were taking care of us. According to our waitress only two people working there knew any Spanish. When my husband asked another waitress if she was learning any Spanish she laughed and said it was difficult for her to do so.
The music playing was hip hop/R&B. I was expecting at least contemporary Latino music. The décor of the restaurant was typical for a sports bar. I noticed sports jerseys and a few TV’s playing sports.
The great customer service made up for the disappointing meal. I wouldn’t recommend the place for families. It was mainly men and a few couples when we were there. Overall it was an ok experience, but we won’t be going back. If we want great Mexican food and a large tequila selection we will stick with Moctezuma’s in Gig Harbor.

Set at the bar for at least 15 min had to move to a table to get waited on. Wasn’t greeted through the door and it was not busy! WTF Get your game together !!!

Girls are wearing darling «minimum» outfits. Service good, waiting on Food… Outdoor seating… Cool table taps with soccer ball bases… Never seen them before, looks fun!

Service was Ok. Was offered many times a refill to my drink. Chips and Salsa were pretty good. No complaints there. The Nacho’s I ordered Looked like a 3^rd grader prepared it, and the «Beef» I ordered looked like minced meat out of a can. Tasted extremely bland. No Jalapenos! Who prepares Nachos without Jalapenos???
Basically the food here sucks. Without improving I give «Hot Tequila» a year in Silverdale before becoming Cold Tequila.

Downgrading my first review from a 4-​star to a 2. The service was as good as we experienced on our very first visit a couple of months ago. Sadly, food quality took a nosedive. I had the ground beef street tacos on my second visit. The taste was average but the ground beef looked like wet dog food. I ate everything up because I don’t like to waste food. It didn’t take me long to do so since they were pretty small – which is typical, I guess, since the street tacos were an item on their appetizer menu.
Boyfriend ordered the nachos. While not earth-​shattering horrid, they weren’t impressive either. We were glad that it was sold at the happy hour price because $ 10.00 for a small plate of below-​average nachos would have almost qualified as daylight robbery.
As we left Hot Tequila after our meal, we agreed that not even the good-​looking wait staff would entice us to return. There is MUCH better Mexican food in Kitsap County. Give Hot Tequila a miss if you prefer good food over pretty waitresses.
