Taco Del Mar

First off every time the guy asked me if I wanted something, he followed it with sorry we don’t have that. I asked to for green sauce he gave me red. They didn’t have quacamole, no melted cheese, I mean what do you have? Nothing was out so he kept having to grab items from under somewhere or the back room. And he asked me if I wanted celantro and just piled a bunch from the bag on top. I should have just canceled my order and left. First time trying this place out. Don’t think I’ll come back.

The food is fresh and tasty. The workers are friendly and courteous. Taco Del Mar is clean, and the prices are average for the area. We have enjoyed many good meals there.

Don’t go to this one, the taco del mar in east bremerton is 5 star. Its family owned and they are very friendly!

Wife got a cheese enchilada, I got fish tacos, and we got a «6 layer nacho» to share. First of all, the price. Almost $ 30.00, which was not only expensive, but with the food being lousy and the facility being dirty, made it even worse. The two young men made the meal and quickly went back to playing on their phones. 1 clean table in the place, and we were the only customers.
Now for the food. The nachos was a handful of chips with nacho cheese, pork, beens, cabbage, and cilantro. Sounds good? Okay, the juice from the beans and pork was poured on the nachos and you have to pay 1.50 for the sour cream, and another 1.50 for the guacamole, which wasn’t much more than a tablespoon of each.
The fish tacos were as described — which i didn’t read first. A little piece of fish stick smother in crap.
Don’t do it — don’t waste your money for food that is lousy, a facility that is dirty, and service that was less than medicare.

Came here in September 2012 was thoroughly disappointed. They made it their mission to make the burrito as soggy and inedible as possible. Vowed to never return. It’s now June 2014, saw completely different staff in through the window and well, I wanted a burrito. Nope! Again I swear they get trained to put as much of the liquid from the beans and meat into the burrito. I told the guy that’s not gonna work. His reply? «On the next item I’ll try to drain it better.» Never mind what he had already slopped on there.

I had heard this was a great burrito place… so, being new in town I was interested in trying it out. I won’t be returning. The décor in this place is cheesy & old. The meat was sitting in liquid, was unappetizing, and the taste was very bland. I didn’t appreciate being nickeled & dime’d for a (very small) smear of guacamole & sour cream.
This place needs to take notes from «Freebirds»…a newer chain that makes k-​I-​l-​l-​e-​r burritos!

I’m a big fan of Tacos del Mar in general. I think most of them would get a 3-​star rating from me. Great food. This one the service was a little slower than I am used to at other locations.

Hey, this isn’t La Tour D’Argent, but for decent Mexican food it fills the bill (or stomach) quite well. I’ve been there many times, generally on «double-​punch Monday» when you get an extra punch on your TDM card.
I lean toward the platters, and the bunker-​buster sized burritos are also excellent. You have to ask for fresh cilantro, as I do. Always opt for the corn tortillas (flour is too fattening). They don’t use lard in their beans, a big plus. The fish tacos are the only weak point, service is adequate if you’re first in line, otherwise it’s a bit of a wait. I’ve always found the service to be very friendly — undoubtedly because I’m a «regular». RHTP — Regulars Have Their Privleges…

I don’t know if I should call this Mexican food. It seems like a bunch of surfers got together and decided to make a franchise. I was not loving the food at all. I ended up ordering to go and having to throw my food away because of the taste. Not a good experience for a first timer.
