1st Inn provides what one can expect for the price — that is to say, it’s charming if not perfect, and those looking for a more glamourous hotel stay should try one of the more expensive options in the area. Location is great, within walking distance of some splendid restaurants and the outlet stores. Staff is kind and attentive. Please note that this hotel is pet friendly!

Without a doubt, hands down, the WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life! Booked this place online. Pictures made it look like a Comfort Inn type place. Boy were those photos wrong! Mold in the bathroom, carpets filthy, and the shower did not work. Needless to say, I slept over the sheets for fear of what I might find under them. I think giving this place one star is about ten too many!!!

I am APPALLED and absolutely DISGUSTED at the filthy condition of the hotel. They walked up the stairs to the room and there was a giant«flower pot» full of cigarrette butts. In the room they pulled back the sheets to find cigarrette burns in the sheets and bed, someone’s fake fingernail stuck in the sheets, BLOOD on the headboard, other stains on the sheets. There was a graffiti drawing of a giant penis on the wall. There were stains on the lampshade. The door bolt was torn off. The list goes on.(She did take pictures to show me.) I would think that the owner and manager of this hotel would be embarrassed to rent a room in such horrible condition. I am angry that my daughter had to stay in such a place and am more upset that the school district wasted their money paying for this stay. If it wasn’t snowing out it would have been more sanitary to camp out on the ground!

The room décor resembles a collection of items you might find in any given alley on trash day. The décor I was willing to over look because we checked in late and my only plans were to sleep, shower and get back on the road first thing in the morning. However the showering part was troubling. The water came out brown in both the bath and sink faucets. Though showering wasn’t an option, I did get a few hours sleep. A few days after our stay, I noticed a unauthorized charge on my bank statement for $ 110 from the hotel. When I called to dispute the charge with the hotel, the lady who answered the phoned denied that they had made the charge and continually hung up on me. Bottom line… the room was not worth the $ 50.00 I spent for it and even though I didn’t drink the brown water the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
