So, in general I enjoy going to this McDonald’s. Being in Silverton, I feel the small town vibe. Everyone is kind, if you drive thru often you get to know the employees a bit, etc. I have to say I am disappointed, though, in the service. Several times, I have ordered items with some sort of special request(often«no bun», as I eat gluten free) that have been made incorrectly. I am aware that this is a fast food restaurant, and as such it is a high speed, high stress environment. I am willing to give grace. However, I also feel it is worth mentioning to other customers that I have had several instances where I said«no bun» that my order arrived with a bun. Today, there is a sticker on my quarter pounder box that says«no bun», yet when I open the box there is a bun on my burger. This is disappointing. I know details get missed. Mistakes happen. But really? The one request I had was not honored. For me, in this situation, I cannot eat the burger I paid nearly $ 5 for. That’s ridiculous. I know I have a special diet, and I take this risk. But I have to say I can’t take this risk any longer at this McDonald’s. Despite my warm fuzzies with the friendly staff, I can’t get more than coffee or a drink here now. Sad.

I have been here a few times and have always had a good experience. Never been inside though, always through the drive-thru.
