Corner Bakery is basically the same as Panera. Our cashier(wish I had gotten her name) was very friendly to us. Since it was our first time, she gave us two free slices of cinnamon pound cake. She also gave us a free drink while we waited for our to go order. I got the ½ sandwich(chicken pomodori) and ½ salad(mixed greens) order. The sandwich was delicious. Topped it off with a slice of lemon pound cake(and a bite of the cinnamon pound cake). Would go here again for a casual lunch or dinner. Not fancy by any means, but does the job.

I opened up this corner bakery as a cashier when they first opened in 2005. It has gone way downhill since then! I really love Corner Barkerys food BUT, it can be hit or miss on the quality as well as the service. The last time I was there the staff were all talking loudly having a personal conversation and not taking care of my order while I was waiting for my food to be made. I am all for socializing, totally guilty of it myself, but a bit quieter and learn to multi task maybe? The managers there are questionable. Everyone always looks like they just rolled out of bed. I think some restructuring of the way this place is run is in order. I will still eat there though! I agree, the prices are insanely high! I only come when I want to splurge.

Dude so the manager definitely just sneezed and didn’t cover his mouth. Not to mention my order took 5 years. And I felt incredibly judged by Joanna. One of the servers. Really needs some work. Definitely not an establishment I would frequent. Very disappointed. Like for real.

So every time I come here I’m never thrilled with what I want to call, the cost to flavor ratio. I’m very pregnant and was craving thanksgiving in a sandwich. So I called around town and sure enough they had one! Named«the gobbler» on sliced wheat bread with stuffing, delicious, thick slices of turkey, mixed greens and to tie it together, a cranberry mayo. This was $ 9.12(including tax) for the sandwich that comes with chips. Again, WAY too expensive but the flavor was the closest it’s ever been to matching the price. My only complaints are the price and lack of texture in the sandwich. It needed a bit more crunch to it, delicious but an overall mushy texture that I think would’ve been cured with toasting the bread. Just wish they had this year round!

My wife loves corner bakery so we come here pretty frequently, I usually get some sort of pasta dish or a panini. Four stars and not five because my food is always good, but its never great. I’m always fine with eating here, bit I rarely get excited about it. Overall my experiences are always good though, so I will keep on coming here with my wife every time she’s craving it.

The Corner Bakery at the Simi Town Center is wonderful! The staff is always so kind and helpful. Yesterday they came by our store and thanked our staff for stopping in for lunch so often and treated us with some free lunch and breakfast coupons! They go above and beyond to make sure their customers(and their neighbors) feel welcome.

They recently added an online ordering feature. However, I’ve used it twice and they seemed to louse up my order both times. The pancakes are a hit and miss and are okay if you are craving something sweet. Their applewood bacon and their chili are tasty. The service is slow and they don’t seem to care to double check if an order is correct. Their prices are on the high side. I tried the new bottoms up bundt cake. The one I ordered online did not even come up on my order upon pick-up(despite having it show in my order confirmation e-mail). I chose one they did have but it was the worst baked good I have ever tasted! It was stale, dried out and tasted as if it had been old and sitting out for several days. I immediately spat it out and tossed it into the trash. Not a memorable dining experience.

To make matters worst today we found a screw in a salad. Go back and advise them of this and no one wants to take the responsibility for this matter which could have gone horrible wrong. In addition they think that in order to fix the issue they can provide us with a $ 5 expired coupon! Nicely done.

Doesn’t live up to the hype or the price. It is aight. 2 sandwiches and a cup of soup… umm $ 30. There was just nothing spectacular about it to make me believe that it was worth the price.

This is a fantastic place for breakfast. Every time I’m in town I make this my first stop. The Swiss berry oatmeal is the best oatmeal I’ve ever had and I usually splurge and grab the Anaheim Panini as well. Also delicious! Staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you’re visiting and looking for a great place for breakfast. GL

The service here is absolutely atrocious. During my first visit, they lost our order and we had to wait for over an hour to get our food after following up numerous times. I thought this was just a one-time thing so I gave them another shot about a month later. Again, they lost our order. The food is extremely overpriced. I will not be returning.

I always get the chicken and noodles covered in Alfredo sauce. I forget what it’s called, I love it. It has been dry once, but pretty good anyway. Can’t go wrong for the price and the taste. It gets packed during lunch time, so plan ahead.

The nice corporate response listed after my review? I emailed them and then never heard back. C’mon Corner Bakery, really?

This place is just fine for a quick meal while shopping. Plenty of affordable, somewhat healthy options, and it seems to be clean and quiet most of the time.

Had lunch date today, pretty good food! Can’t diss a place that offers free cookies and brownie bites by the front door I loved the atmosphere and view of Simi from the restaurant, beautiful layout. Service was courteous, friendly, and nice. I ordered a veggie panini, the California Grille, it was ok. A little too cheesy for me, but I ate it all so I’m eager to come back and try a cold sandwich, like the club or turkey. The black currant tea was amazing! And I should mention that the wait time was less than 10 minutes. Very impressed. Of course, the cookies are delish. Took home two bags, hehe. My sweet tooth is very satisfied! Looking forward to eating here again soon!

Just came in to order 1÷7÷15 @ 355pm) because I love their sandwiches but the cashier grossed me out. V. did not remove her food service gloves to handle the cash register/money and then she proceeded to handle food with those same gloves. I think they need to emphasize the importance of cross contamination. I

The Corner Bakery in the Simi Town Center is like Starbucks«Plus». That is, they’ve got an excellent coffee and espresso bar with some snacks, but go way beyond that in serving real food, like scrambled eggs, bacon, sandwiches and some remarkable pastries. They have lots of great indoor and outdoor seating at this location with a million dollar view of the Simi Valley. Just wow… The staff have always been extremely helpful and friendly, however keep in mind that unlike a traditional restaurant, you can’t simply sit down and expect to be waited on. Instead, you walk up to the bar and place your order, take your number and place it at the table you select. The drip coffee quality here is on-par with Starbucks, although with a little less kick. The food quality here is excellent and I really cannot complain at all about that. Their scrambled eggs were light, fluffy and perfect. Their strips of bacon were generous and hit the spot between being too crispy and too limp. For bacon lovers, this is the place! The only thing I ding them on is the tables, chairs and overall facility which was definitely on the dirty side. Most of the outdoor tables when I arrived this weekend had food stains, crumbs or grease on them. Inside the restaurant, the floor wasn’t well mopped and there was dust and dirt in various places. Not very appetizing… Also the charming little plants outside seemed like they were all dying. Small thing, I know, but who wants to look at dead flowers while dining on the patio? Aside from these minor things, I highly recommend the Corner Bakery!

Im kinda on the fence about Corner Bakery. A lot of my family and friends like this place so I’ve had more than a fair share here at the Simi location, T.O. Calabasas and at the Promenade in Woodland Hills. I didn’t realize how much of the menu I tried until writing this review. For breakfast I’ve had the French toast and Commuter Croissant French toast is a little soft for my taste, it reminded me of bread pudding. I enjoyed the croissant sandwich, egg and bacon sit between the oh so fresh n’ flakey pastry. Hand roasted bakers blend is what I like from their coffee choices, but they do make a mean latte. For lunch I’ve had at least 3 of there sandwiches, Chickien Pesto being my favorite. Chicken Pesto Sandwich Ciabatta Pesto on Ciabatta Ficelle D.C. on Harvest Bread All of these sandwiches come with Corner Bakery Kettle Chips, which are light, crispy and you can taste the potato skins. For the longest time I never opened my bag of chips, but then one day these chips grew on me. I’ve tried a few salads, Spinach Sweet Crisp is my favorite Chopped Salad is ok For soup, I don’t like there broccoli and cheedar, which is way too salty. Spring Agparugas is my choice of soup when it is available. If you want a sandwich and soup, they do have that option. Sweet pecan crisps are good but pricy, they cost more than my breakfast… $ 6.99, but I like them, so I”l buy a bag from time to time. CB carries a bunch of baked goods, like large cookies and whoppie pies.

Really like this place. Ate here all the time when I worked in the small. Customer service has always been delightful. Food is delicious. Salad is awesome. Small place. Located in the mall. Prices are not bad. Good size portions. Everything tastes fresh.
