Came in this morning for the first and last time. A man in front of me ordered donuts and pairs cash. The worker rang him up and passed back change then immediately went to the back and glazed all the donuts by hand, without gloves and without washing his hands. I stood there mouth gapping open. The health department needs to pay a visit. Disgusting.

– only place thats ever tried to charge more for a Arizona iced tea than the«99 cents» that is marked on the can. owner said«because it is cold». – surcharge for using a credit card

I absolutely love the delicious donuts here! They are amazing, and not just because they are donuts, but the ingredients that are in the donut, it’s not like the other donut places I have been, it’s different and good, I don’t go to any other place besides here to get my donuts, unless I’m craving for KrispyCreme then I go to Burbank and get a dozen donuts, but other than that, best donut place in Simi Valley without a doubt.

Great little donut shop on the corner of Royal and Madera. Family owned and operated. Plenty of parking. Solid selection, but not a Dunkin Donuts either. We ventured in on a Sunday morning to get the family some donuts. There was a slight wait but nothing too bad. The female owner was very kind and hard working. She said her husband was up all night making the fresh bakery items. Love family businesses! Great option if you’d like some donuts. I didn’t care for the ice coffee, but highly recommend the baked goods. 4 stars!

We were in search for some breakfast in the area and decided on this place. In an age where donut shops have expanded their menus and are trying to create amazing concoctions, this place will not inspire you. The donuts were okay. Luckily they are very cheap. The best of the donuts we purchased was the Maple Bar. Easily. The cake donuts were okay. A little dry, but the frosting was good. The ham and cheese crossiant was super cheap at $ 1.25, but was basically a slice of deli meat and cheese in a weak crossiant. If you are looking for something special, this is not the place. If you want something to eat and move on, this is your place.

Excellent selection of donuts, even late in the morning. Huge cold drink case. When I asked about a plain Krueller, as they had lots of frosted and glazed ones, the lady behind the counter told me next time I wanted one to call first and she’d make some. This is the best sort of donut shop. Good stuff to eat, very clean and tidy, and with a make the customer happy additude. This is the best donut shop in Simi. 50 cent fee for credit /debit cards, but no fuss using them at all.

Dismal… Apple fritters are particularly bad. The coffee is weak and over priced. The donuts generally are mediocre at best. But the real killer is the customer service is particularly bad. I went in today. I was greeted with«just a minute». Then the only person in the place goes back to what she was doing. I wait and she continues to ignore me. I walked out and will never go back. Finally the place is littered and dirty. Must be due to the lack of staff. Find another shop this one is crummy.

I’d love to review the donuts here, but it’s rather difficult when the run out of the classics before 11am on Saturday. Seriously kids, do you expect me to wake up early on a Saturday just to get a cruller? I’ve had success getting a box of donuts before work, but felt like I was in danger of being lynched by the mob that built up behind me while the only donut retriever filled the box at a leisurely pace. Then there’s the lady behind the register, whose interpersonal skills are insufficient to qualify for a position as a grave digger… The donuts are at least average for the area, miles above Dunkin’ Donuts quality. But don’t be surprised if there’s nothing left in the case… And yes, the coffee is nothing short of terrible. Abysmal even. Too bad this place is so close to home, I’d much rather go somewhere else.

Went here this morning. First, the woman working greeted me when I walked in, but suddenly turned rude as she was doing multiple things behind the counter. Then I asked for a few certain donuts and when we opened the bag later, she hadn’t given us what I had asked for. I’m not sure if she charged me for the one missing. Upon trying the apple fritter, it was hard like it had been sitting there for days. It should have a crisp to the outside and softer inside(not mushy). The others I were told were not the best they’ve had. Disappointed and won’t be going back.

Been going here for the past 2 years on mine and my son’s «Daddy Donut Days». Best donuts in Simi and lady working there is always nice and friendly to my son, most of the time giving him a free donut hole for our walks back home. Good stuff!

I moved here from Pa about six months ago and I sorely miss Dunkin Doughnuts. I’ve tried this establishment a few times and was not impressed. While the doughnuts are adequate, the owners act like they are doing you a favor by being there. Tho older lady in the morning takes your order while talking on the cordless phone strapped to her chest. The son(I assume) works in tank tops and flip flops. the retail area is dimly lit and the back room is even darker, what are they hiding? No matter how much I’m craving a doughnut, I’ll pass on this place. I can’t wait for Dunkin to enter the SoCal market in the near future and put some of these yahoos out of business

Been coming here for many years, I have to say they have the best donuts in town compared to the others places I have been. It is family run and they are friendly people who appreciate local neighborhood customers. They can be busy in the morning with people heading to work or the kids before school but still have a decent selection. Also… BESTBLUEBERRYMUFFINSEVER

We’ve been coming here for years. Seen a HUGE decline in the way they operate. I hate to have to blast them but it has gotten to the point where a business shouldn’t get greedy by cutting costs. Hopefully the poor lady running the place by herself will PAY for some extra help to cover the following deal-breakers: 1st — have got to clean their store. If they don’t EVER care where their customers sit and eat, I have to assume they hold the same standard with their ovens and cooking appliances. I guarantee if the health department came in, they’d have a fun time explaining why things are as filthy as they are. 2nd — can’t be out of «traditional» donuts at 9:30am repeatedly on Saturdays and Sundays.(maple bars, donut holes, etc…) 3rd — coffee has gone way down hill with quality and up in price. It tastes like burnt old coffee with a 2-year-old filter. They’ve lost a twice-a-week customer; sometimes more. I almost want to open up a donut store right next to them and show you how bad it’s gotten. I’d take every customer eventually on West Simi… Good luck!

I love this place. I’ve been coming here since 2001 and the service is always impeccable. Love the workers and the donuts. Ham and Cheese Croissant hands down the best in Simi Valley.

I love independent, Asian-run donut stores. And this is like, near the butt end of Simi Valley. That said, I’m happy this is nearby. It’s my local substitute for Dragon Donut when I’m in a hurry to get somewhere and have to bring some good donuts and croissants. The fruit-filled croissants taste like they’ve been filled with canned pie filling, but for donut shop prices, that’s perfectly okay. I quite like the cherry ones. We also got the watermelon smoothie, which tasted like Jolly Rancher-infused ice cream. It was … interesting, only because I wasn’t expecting that kind of taste. Yet it was strangely good, and I want to try the other flavors. So if you’re out in the area for whatever reason, and you’re hankering for something cheap and sweet, then… try here. :)
