The usual Jack food, but their pricing policy was ridiculous. Since they were out of regular cups, they charged for large. Also the price of breakfast combos(reg coffee and hash browns) varies from $ 1.20 over the ala cart sandwich price to $ 2.00 over the ala cart sandwich price.

Nothing real spectacular, just another Jack N the Box. What ever happen to that Wow experience in the QSI. Quick service Industry. With all the burger chains you would think that they would step up in the plate and prepare a great tasting burger and yet it’s still the same. Bring back the Bonus Jack. Maybe start grilling your onions and change your onions to Red onions for a better taste. On this visit my Burger had to much Mayo, so re-train your sandwich maker. Apply a little bit. They did change their buns, much better. Service could have been a bit better with the proper greeting and must of all the closing. A Thank You for your purchase. Just basic’s and yet Company’s still don’t get it. Service is key, Quality, and Cleaningness. 043⁄100. Unilocal Challenge.(2016)

Seriously? Would ANY of the employees eat it like this? Mayo only on the outside of the bun? Ketchup fingerprint? I pulled out the nastiness and tried to give it a shot but this is the driest bun I’ve ever tried to eat. I’m done with Jack.

Cold tacos. Not room temp; cold. And I dined in. One quarter teaspoon of some brown mushy stuff and half a slice of American cheese with lettuce. All cold. Nasty. Sketchy area anyway. Won’t go back.

Horrible service!!! Waited ten min in the drive threw for old stale onion rings that they reheated! I will never go to this Jack in the box again.

My boyfriend won’t stop eating here and I’m pissed off. The food is so awful. Jack in the a****** is the lowest of the fast food chains.

Been to several Jack in the boxes. Two in the valley and one in Calabasas. Those had stale tacos, tainted lettuce on the burgers and and cold fries. Here in Simi valley, always fresh, fries are hot and tacos are great!

This Jack in the Box used to be screw-up city, I mean it reached a point where we’d be surprised when everything was correct. I had a «discussion» with the management once, when I hit«that point», you know, total frustration; then we stayed away for quite a while after that. I mean enough is enough; and the only thing joints like this understand is when we vote with our wallets. I forget what it was, something new on the menu, which brought me back for another try after the extended hiatus, and I have to admit that not only the quality, but the service has greatly improved, and this has been the case for some time now(I’ve just not written about this place in a timely manner; my bad). Breakfasts here are always pretty good(although the biscuits are not as good as their next door neighbors), and I like their coffee better than that«Starbuck’s» wanna be stuff over at the arches. Since they serve breakfast all day now, that is something I truly appreciate, and wish other fast food chains would emulate. That new«Munchie» box is okay, if you get the Brunch version; tried the cheesy chicken one and it was maybe the nastiest sauce I’ve ever encountered, this made trying the others something I’ve yet to do. The big plus is the mix of taters and the two tacos. Other than the cheese, lettuce and sauce, I have no clue whats in these taco’s, but I’ve loved them since the first try back in the mid 1970’s.(Historical Note: The parent corp. of Jack in the Box in the 70’s and 80’s was Ralston Purina, for a while they even had that logo on some packaging. My nickname for«Jack» became People Chow, after Purina’s typical branding of the period) The unknown contents of the mystery meat taco helped this nickname stick some with the locals where I lived. I already mentioned coffee, the Iced Coffee is pretty good too, and I try to order that more if my head is on straight(which seems to become less frequent as the age counter climbs). The beverage selection here is really quite good, and the shakes are not all thimble sized like at some other places these days. Their many grilled sandwiches are all quite excellent, and might be the«top shelf» of the menu here; if you have yet to try one, you are missing something quite good. Hey, it’s Jack in the Box, they took the drive-thru to another level back in the 50’s and 60’s. Nothing even remotely fancy here, but the food is not the worst out there, and at two for a buck, those taco’s are a great deal when you are down to looking under the cars seat for some money.

I’ve been coming to this Jack In The Box for literally the last 10+ years and the service is great! They keep the restaurant very clean(including the restrooms) and all the personnel that I have encountered over the last decade have all been very pleasant and polite. It’s refreshing to see such great service at a fast food restaurant. Just because it’s fast food doesn’t mean you don’t have to try, and these people are excellent at their job!

I’ve been here several times at the drive-thru, and the employees have always been friendly and the food is always hot and prepared fresh. This might just be one of the friendliest Jack In The Box restaurants I have been to. Every visit is greeted by a smiling and welcoming employee. Service is fast; food quality is good. I may not go to Jack in the Box a lot, but when I do, I prefer to go to this location.

I often wonder about lunch whilst sitting in my cube. Usually around ten, I get the first inklings of thoughts and ideas of what I’m in the mood for. Sometimes I look through the emails that I get from the various restaurant chains. Sometimes I turn my gameboy photo-slide show on, and view countless photos of various foods I’ve eaten in the past. Today was an email day. Just about the time I was starting to wonder about lunch, my email notification popped up a message from Jack in the Box. Curious, I opened up the email, and was happy when I saw it contained a coupon. «Buy one hot Mess Burger, get a hot Cinnamon Shake» My carpool buddy often refers to me as a ‘hot mess’, and part of me wanted to try the burger because of that connection. So, I asked a friend if she wanted to go and get a free hot cinnamon shake. I then mentioned that I had no ride. So she agreed to drive in exchange for a coupon. We drove down there in her car… her car with so very many, many girly stickers and great big purple eyelashes stuck over the headlights. I got into the car quickly, and got out even quicker. I could feel my man-card status wavering the longer I spent in the vehicle. We walked in, and the place was noticeably clean. There were only a few people in the place. As I approached the counter and I was greeted cheerfully. I thrust out my coupon at the lady and said«I have a coupon!» She nodded, and took the printout, and pushed the corresponding buttons on her register. She tried to upsell the ‘hot mess’ fries, but I was perfectly content with just the shake and burger. The burger was four and change, and the shake was another three. But, since the shake was free, the end tally was four dollars and sixty one cents. I grabbed a brushed stainless steel table, and sat down in a high stool. I do kinda enjoy the brushed stainless steel tables at Jack in the Box. They just seem so very clean… wait…except this one… there’s a dot of some kinda sauce… I moved to the next table over, and it also looked clean. My number was called a moment after I sat down.(Figures) I went back up to the counter and grabbed my tray. The shake was being finished, and I had to wait there for an extra second or two before a cup full to the hole in the top of the lid was thrust at me. I walked back to the table, with tray in hand. My friend had few more moments, as she had been suckered in by the hot mess fry upsell. I unwrapped the burger and took my Unilocal photos. It looked good. It was on their round sourdough rolls, and had jalapenos and cheese dribbling down one side. The onion rings inside were hidden, and a neat surprise. I stuck the straw into the shake and sucked. Jack in the box shakes are thick. Once I got to taste it, I was reminded of those hot-cinnamon fireball candies I used to eat when I was a Cub Scout back at summer camp. Both the burger and shake were tasty. My friend was dredging her hot mess fries in ranch dressing, and seemed to be enjoying them. They looked messy… and fork worthy.
Thank you jack in the box for being quick, and being cheap. you make living for two weeks on fifty bucks much easier.
