Fry’s cold, soggy greasy and way under cooked. Hot dogs under cooked and raw. The Pastrami is a looser. Rye bread cheap o like tissue paper, pastrami tough, rubbery and chewy with no taste. Bad experience, we won’t go back.

This place serves hot dogs, sides and champagne which is what drew myself to it as I love hot dogs and champagne! What a random idea! I would say it does work well, but there are a few things that probably give it less than great reviews. The front of house wasn’t the nicest and the prices were way too high. I was very pleased with my hot dog choice which had caramelised lettuce, crispy bacon and truffle mayo. I also got the tater tots which I loved! Reminded me of being a kid. Overall I had a good experience.

I have to say that the Chicago dogs are my favorite at this fast food restaurant. Plus you also got to love the pastrami dogs in a pretzel bun I mean that’s just deliciousness. The prices at this fast food spot are actually pretty good and not overpriced at all.

Been here about two or three times and ordered different hot dogs just to see if one was at least better than the other. All were lacking in any real flavor. Mostly just super salty. The hot dogs were mediocre. On the plus side, I do like their Strawberry dipped Vanilla soft serve ice cream cone. That one isn’t bad.

Sometimes we all have different craving’s, on this day I was graving a chili dog. Probably not the best food item for me to eat, but its ok once in a while. The taste of the chili is still the same as it was back when I was in High School. Always a good sign. Quality very important. The employees where very friendly and helpful during my visit. Keep up the good job. The location was also very clean and very well maintained, very important in this fast food industry. Good job to all the employees and management. Stay focused and serving made to order fast food, Don’t cut corners in your product. Serve hot food. Very important.Good job.

Since management changed they are great. We used to get rude customer service and adequate food, now the staff is friendly and the food is of better quality. Whatever you are doing keep it up! It is definitely an improvement so much so we are heading back tonight!

I’ve recently visited this place again. Wow! Looks like they have a line of new staff and their service and attitude are extremely nice! No wonder this place is getting so much business now! Keep up the good work!

Came in about a month ago and have been wanting to leave a good review ever since. I have eaten inside the restaurant and also used the drive-thru. The drive-thru service has always been quick and accurate. The reason for this review however, is because of my experience eating inside, about a month ago. I was just struck by how nice and polite the employees were, and by how clean and pleasant it was inside the restaurant, on the counters, near the fountain drinks, at the dining tables, and in general. And it occurred to me, that it’s been like this every single time I’ve been in there. I remarked about this to the manager, and he genuinely responded with appreciation. I wish I remembered that manager’s name, he was so nice. Most of the time, employees and even managers in fast food restaurants don’t seem to care much about customer service… But in this Weinerschnitzel, they really do!

I just came in to get the 5 for 5 deal and I must say Mayra delivered the greatest customer service I have ever received in all 26 years I have been living in Simi so I believe she deserves the utmost recognition for her efforts and I will continue to frequent this restaurant for a long time

Great experience and excellent costumer service on the drive through. We went today(Tuesday night) at about 10pm and this young lady(who I believe is one of the managers) was very polite and nice to us. We were just thinking of getting a hot dog and somehow she persuaded us to get some dessert. We ended up getting a freeze, shake, and a banana split. They were all pretty good and at a great price. We are definitely going back soon if we keep getting the great service that Xiomara(that was the name on her name tag) and her crew offered us.

Update: I have been coming here everyday after work for a Cotton Candy Dipped Ice cream cone. It’s the best. There’s always the same 3 girls, they’re extremely friendly and welcoming. Walked in while they were cleaning, you can tell they work hard to deliver great customer service and keeping the place clean. Always leave satisfy and with my ice cream cone Good job!

This place by L.A. Ave. and Hubbard St. in Simi offers good Weinerschnitzel standards as chili dogs, kraut dogs, etc. One of the cleaner Weiner branches around; cold in the summer, warm in the winter. Service is prompt and cheerful. And as always, lives up to the franchise quality of inexpensive fast food hot dogs.

I come here occasionally when craving hot dogs. Excellent dogs, excellent fries, and great staff! Building is a little old and could use a remodel, but the food makes up for it.

Been coming here off and on since I moved here. The manager is really nice. Even saw the mngr give a homeless man some food that came in asking for water. Good people there. Best part, you don’t get wrong orders.

Obviously, the first to review is not always the best or even right some times; then again, I grew up on this chains chow. This is the only Wienerschnitzel in Simi, and the entire extended family loves this landmark fast food eatery. I do recommend the All Beef Angus Hot Dogs; no matter what you get on them, from mustard and kraut, to chili cheese and onions, or anything in between, prepare for a real treat! They keep their buns so soft and fresh, its almost like eating bread from Heaven. The pastrami they serve is fairly lean and tasty, and the Polish Dogs are a favorite from way back when. The sauerkraut served here is about my favorite style, not too tart, but you know you are eating the real thing. Oh, don’t forget the corn dogs, or the chili cheese curly fries, both are like what you find on a trip to the fair, only without the long lines or the flies. Their ice cream service is really good too. All soft serve, but with a good clean flavor which we really appreciate, even chocolate dipped cones for when vanilla is just not enough; Sundaes, floats and shakes too, all good stuff! Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Dr Pepper, Mountain Dew, Mug Root Beer, Raspberry Tea, Iced Tea, Lemonade, Cherry, Mango or Strawberry Lemonade, Milk and Bottled Water round out the beverage selection, so there’s something here for everybody. I just wish the company would put the«Der» back in their name.

Came here for lunch with a buddy. I had coupons. I had a pair of 1.00 off Angus hot dogs. One for a chili dog, and another for their pastrami dog. I presented and surrendered the coupons and explained that was my order. The guy behind the counter asked if I would like cheese on the chili dog, and I acquiesced to the upgrade. I also ordered a large drink so I could attempt to win a brand new 2012 Fiat. I won a free chili-cheese-fry-burrito. While not quite as exciting as the new car, still… a win is a win, right? My hot dogs were ready in a few minutes, and they were both delicious. In addition to their abundant tastiness, they weren’t too pricy.(Total for both hot dogs and large drink was around $ 7) The bathroom is outside the restaurant though. You’ve got to take their key, and follow the drive through to the back of the building. That’s mildly annoying. To recap: Cheap, and good. I like it. But don’t wait until the last second if you have to use the facilities or you might have an accident. Even with that slight drawback, I’ll defiantly be back.

I’m from the midwest and I’d never seen a Wienerschnitzel before. The name is so confusing to me, especially since I’ve been to Germany and Austria and I know what wienerschnitzel is, a fried cut of tenderized veal traditionally from Vienna or in viennese style. So imagine my surprise when I went to this Wienerschnitzel and found that they served hot dogs. So I assume it’s from the«wiener» in Wienerschnitzel that refers to the hot dogs, however any German or Austrian knows that«wiener» refers to anything that comes from«Wien» which is the German name for Vienna. This is American ignorance at it’s best. Well, I was overwhelmed and slightly disgusted by the menu so I got what seemed to be a chili dog of some sorts. I’ve lived in Detroit so I know all their is to know about the coney dog. This was similar but way grosser. It was dare I say inedible. The fries would have been ok if cooked through and didn’t have a hard cold center. The Dr. Pepper was ok. If I wasn’t passing through a strange city and I had more options I wouldn’t have stopped here, but I did so now I know I never need to go here again.
