I’m not really sure what happened to this Wendy’s? But, I’m guessing it’s the normal fast food laziness that’s usually at most of the old fast food places… they just need to clean house and hire all new employees that actually want jobs. Every time we go there we’re served cold food… like they just want to rush you out as soon as possible. I used to work in fast food and I know it usually only takes 2 – 3 minutes to fry up some new french fries… not sure why the cook didn’t think this was important… instead we got cold fries that have been sitting there for a long time. We will not be coming back.

It had been awhile since I last ate at a Wendy’s, and I was happy I did. I prefer eating at a Wendy’s than a Mcdonald’s and Carl’s jr. Wendy’s meat is never frozen. When you freeze meat, you lose the moisture. I had the Double cheese combo. I opened the burger to see that all the condiments where laid out properly and they were. You see when you bit into a burger your suppose to taste each and every condiment in the burger, just to let you all know that. The sandwich maker who made my burger did a fantastic job in preparing the burger. From a customer’s view Great Job. Stay consisit in your food preparation and delivering a Great tasting burger. The dinning room was clean and very well maintained, most of all the Restrooms where also clean. No debris on the floor. Good job to the management. Stay consisit in your walk-thu’s. The one thing this location is messing, It needs a make over. Utilize your outside patio area with some table’s and umbrellas and maybe add some exterior plants. Such a big location. The service is usually great not late though. When I come here in the afternoon the workers are so fun and friendly and energetic and the food is good. Karla is very sweet and I see her all the time. When I come here at night though I guess there’s a different staff they always forget stuff in my order always!!! It gets really annoying and they aren’t as friendly don’t come here late you’ll be dissapointed!

i wish there was an option for no stars… i honestly like wendy’s food, but the service at this location is despicable! MAKESUREYOUCHECKYOURBAG! Ive driven off several times with the wrong food or missing items, Today i went thru and the lady who looks to be the manager handed me my food with out the receipt, i forgot to check my bag and low and behold it was not what i ordered at all! beware of this wendys!

Not been impressed. Last 3 visits over a 6 month period for Frosty’s only and they have messed up the order each time. 1st time they charged me for the car behind me. Once that was fixed, they didn’t charge for a frosty so they had to charge my card twice to fix it. 2nd time they couldn’t hear my order because their speakers sounded messed up. Again didn’t charge for a Frosty I ordered and I had to pay twice. 3rd time was tonight. Took the kids for Frosty’s. I only had 3 I ordered. They charged me for two and I repeated my order. The lady rolls her eyes, walks away and another lady comes back to hand me my 3rd Frosty and charge me a 2nd time. I asked her to have her manager check the speaker because my order has been messed up the last 3 times and maybe that was the problem. She too rolled her eyes… won’t be a 4th time!

MAKESURETOCHECKYOURRECEIPTCAREFULLY! After I ordered and pulled up, I asked to add a small frosty off the dollar menu. They had handed me the old receipt with the food, added the new item, charged it to my card and this dollar item became an almost for dollar item. When I explained to the worker, Maria, that it is wrong, she said it’s the tax. I broke down the math, she went to the register, took out two dollars, and told me «now you got the frosty for free» and gave me a nasty look. Too many choices in Simi to have to put up with that.

I’m updating my review because I was quite literally vomiting while writing the last one. I truly HATE being sick so this is the worst memory I have of a restaurant. I got food poisoning where symptoms lasted 3 – 4 days, and the aftermath of fatigue and malaise a week and a half. I don’t trust ANY food in L.A. Ave or even many in simi anymore. And my boyfriend’s had similar experiences recently. Just avoid fast food here. Go to a supermarket, eat a salad, enjoy not barfing.

Service is mediocre. I’m not big on fast food but If I had to go anywhere it would be Wendy’s. I only like one particular item at all Wendy’s locations. And this Wendy’s is always consistent and tasty. And they’re fries are properly salted.

Let me ask you this, how would you feel if you were having a great sunny day, and all of a sudden someone comes up to your face and just SNATCHESYOURCOUPON! Now it wasnt exactly like this, so let me elaborate. Pulled up to the drive-thru, placed my order for a couple Frosty’s, Jr. Bacon and some Nuggets(which were very very tasty with the BBQ sauce). So the lady says its gonna be $ 8 something when I order, then I get to the window and hand her the coupon. STILL8 something. Are they trying to rob me? Probably not, but I sure felt insulted. Now I shouldve gone Oakland Raiders on them and got ghetto, but thats just not me anymore. Nowadays, im much more professional, so you know I will be calling their corporate office in a few mins. But if I was 18… oooooweeeeeeeeeeeeee. So please Wendy, I like you, but if you continue like this, im gonna have to break it off. Peace. P. S. I did finish the Frosty, and it did make me feel better.

Leonarda the reason this place sucks!!! Uses employees to the fullest!!! Every night she takes food home for her family! But one employee got some fries for himself and was fired on the spot. Her daughter shows up with her friends all the time and she gives them free food!!! She also hires illegal immigrants and takes advantage of them knowing they won’t complain!!! I worked there for a week and couldn’t handle it! They reuse the oil to cook there food!!! Gross Oh and my nuggets always taste old!!! From sitting I’m the light all day

I have literally had it with this Wendy’s! Every time, no matter what I order, I am told to pull forward and wait. Even if I am the only person around! Not only is the service slow, but if I was waiting to be handed food that was fresh I wouldn’t complain. I can tell that my fries have been dunked back into hot grease or that my chicken was double cooked. Disgusting! I have returned ONLY because the staff is friendly and I feel sorry for them having such poor management or training. Tonight, at 14 weeks pregnant and only able to stomach a baked potato, I went to Wendy’s. I came home hungry and not willing to eat the crap I was given. I can microwave a better meal. Picture to be posted. Too bad this is the only Wendy’s in Simi because it’s definitely the bad one. I guess I will be getting a Wendy’s fix in Reseda when I am at work.

I have given this place a ton of chances but tonight was the last straw. Every time I go to the drive thru they mess up my order either forgetting something or just giving me the outright wrong item IE. chicken sandwiches instead of hamburgers. Normally I just call and they are very apologetic I go down they give me the missing items with offers for more. However tonight I go to get the items I paid for that they can’t seem to give me, the attendant was outright rude. Basically calling me a liar because“they double check all their orders”. She was very reluctant to give me what I have already paid for. Really? I can say without a doubt this location is the worst of any fast food restaurant for order accuracy. I guess I should be glad they double check otherwise I would probably just be given an empty bag. I won’t be visiting this Wendy’s again which is sad because I do like the food… when I can get it.

I just went drive-thru, and because they seem to be a higher end kind of fast food restaurant, the least I expect is for my order to be correct. How you can get fries and baked potato mixed up is beyond me!

We ordered the new pretzel bacon cheeseburger and it had more grease in the carton than I had ever seen. It was so greasy and tasteless. Probably one of the worst hamburgers I’ve ever had at Wendy’s. Thank goodness for their frosty ice cream. The service was good and the store was clean.

Came here for lunch with a buddy. We were greeted and had the door opened for us by an employee as we approached the place. As we walked up I noticed a great big sign that said«Free WiFi Available!» I noted that and smiled. I could go on-line with my various internet devices here. As we walked up to the registers and a sign caught my eye. I’m a sucker for ads, so I pointed to the sign and said«I want one of those.» Not even really knowing what it was. The nice girl behind the counter explained that it was the W, and it came with sides and a drink, and asked what sides I’d like. She then politely went over my options. I went with the chili cheese fries. My buddy also got the W and a side of fries. Minutes passed and our trays were put out. The big burger displayed in a cardboard box, next to the chili cheese fries and the drink. It looked good, but the chili cheese fries didn’t quite look like the picture. But I didn’t complain as they looked very tasty. The woman who put the trays down double checked with us that the orders were correct. We took our trays and went to a table. We unwrapped the burgers and ate them. We were silent as we enjoyed the double patties, the vegetables, and the toasted bun. They all meshed together very well. It was a quite good burger. I wondered why it’d been so long since I had been to a Wendy’s. As we left, the guy who had opened the door for us asked if we’d like to refill our drinks before we left, thanked us for our visit and and then opened the door again for us. I felt that was a nice touch. Service was exemplary, food was good. I think I’ll be visiting Wendy’s more often after this.

This Wendy’s has the most unbelievable service. Every order is right every time and the staff is attentive and polite. One of the mid-day managers has to be the most bubbly person I’ve ever seen in food service — she always has a smile despite always being busy doing something. Restaurant is clean inside and efficient with the drive through. Food is good — exactly what you expect from Wendy’s, nothing more but also NEVER less, which is saying a lot for fast food. I wish it was open later!
