This is the best place to get lunch. Their kid’s chicken tenders are delicious and their chocolate chip cookies are TODIEFOR. Exceeds all expectations.

I’m here now and had the margarita pizza as well as the turkey, havarti and cranberry sandwich! Both were equally ravishing. Also, I must add that their tiramisu is DIVINE!!!

My go to restaurant every time I’m at old orchard(seriously the best dining option). Food is amazing and always fresh. Service is on point. Atmosphere is really nice for a department store(there is also a super cute outdoor seating option). This past Sunday I decided to try something new: prosciutto and arugula pizza. It was delicious! I’m personally not the biggest fan of pesto but the combination was great. My mom and I split the pizza and had the cilantro lime salad(this is her favorite and she always orders it. I also very highly recommend the shrimp and arugula salad(my #1 favorite), salmon nicosie(tied for #1 as well), blackened salmon Caesar salad and if you are looking for a hearty option the skirt steak chimichurri is bomb! Oooooo and how can I forget best tomato soup ever!(they even sell it) AND you can use your Nordstrom card and rack up the points(or if you have a gift card you can use it at Nordstrom café as well)

This is my favorite café at Westfield mall! Nice atmosphere, fast operation, and friendly server. I had French dip for the first time visiting here. Second time, I ordered shrimp & arugula salad by looking at the review here. They were both great! I also liked here about the calories displayed on the website menu. It helps me counting it for my diet. Only thing disappointed me was that they didn’t have café latte although i was able to get a regular coffee. I guess it’s because E! Bar(coffee shop) was in the other side of Nordstrom. I never tried dessert here, but it always looked delicious!

The food here is absolutely delicious! Although slightly overpriced, I don’t mind spending the extra $ for the high quality food here. The menu isn’t very dense as there are a few pasta, salads, sandwiches selections. I most always go for the pasta here since the few pastas I’ve had were perfect! The portions are perfect as well. I had the chance to try some of my sister’s salad and wow… the salad was amazing too! It was fresh and perfectly tossed! If only the prices were a little cheaper, I would probably come here more often, but the chances I go to Old Orchard to shop, I make sure to stop by here for a quick and tasty meal!

The food here is a bit pricy but very well done. I came from lunch and it was a nice enough day to sit outside. They have a quite little court yard that’s nicely shaded. You order the food at the counter and servers bring it to your table when its ready. I had the Wild Salmon Salad and I enjoyed it very much.

What a high class lunch experience. Four of ordered very different items and all were scrumptious. My salmon was prepared perfectly. Ditto for potatoes and veggies. Top drawer service by Vince and nice woman taking orders. Photo of daughter’s French dip plus my fish dinner. Will go back often.

Oh my god the food here was delicious!!! I recommend the chicken club/glazed bacon sandwich and their soups!!! Everyone here was so nice — our server was the most attentive and sweetest. For dessert, I had a lemon tart, and although I didn’t like it, I feel like those who actually like lemon tarts would love it — personal taste. I have never been to Nordstrom café and my initial experience really makes me want to go a second time. I live in the city, so the one on mich ave would be most convenient — I hope their standards are the same as this branch.

Nordstrom is the best department store hands down. Perfect balance of comfortable and high end goods. With the best customer service you’ve ever experienced and this isn’t lost when it comes to their café. Short but sweet menu and everything I’ve had from there was great. Though I travel between Chicago and Detroit I’ve noticed a difference in menu items. The tomato soup is the best tomato soup I’ve ever had. They know it’s good because they bottle it for you to purchase in store. Their turkey ciabatta with cranberry chutney is fantastic. I also love their Chicken bacon club. I recently tried their pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Perfect! The mushrooms were wild and tasted fresh. The lemon ricotta cookie is a gift from God. Get one! Here’s a tip: if you don’t have cash make sure you add the amount you’d like to leave before they swipe your card so the cashier can give you that extra money back to leave after your meal. I always forget to do that hence I never have cash. And that’s all I have to say about that. Jackée

Came here after years of just walking by, I’m sorry I didn’t walk in sooner! The menu is very small, doesn’t really change(been here about 6 or so times since November) but still is delicious. A nice quiet spot to stop while shopping, especially around the holidays, it’s a nice place to recharge the ol’ batteries. Love the tomato soup, it’s a must try, Nordstrom is famous for it. The veggie sandwich is delicious with grilled veggies such as zucchini, squash, red peppers and onions. Additionally it had basil, cheese and a nice sauce. The salads are delicious too, nice and big. I haven’t had any desserts yet, but I have my eye on that tiramisu ;)

Always good. If you’re going on the weekend expect a crowd. Never a bad meal or snack while shopping. Was there last weekend for triple points on the Nordstrom credit card and the place was quite full. Kids had chicken fingers that they loved and great looking(kettle?) chips along with a little bit of fruit on the side and a kid sized drink in lidded(thankfully) kiddie cup. Skirt steak and asparagus was a delicious entrée. Not cheap for«eating at the mall» but paying for comfort and convenience fine by me.

Love Nordstrom Café as much as love the store. The menu is carefully selected with healthy choices and tasty food. Great place to stop for lunch after or before shopping. I love salads and tomato basil soup. The service is always friendly and fast. I enjoy sitting outside(when weather permits). You can pay with your Nordi card to get an extra points. Prices and portion size of all dishes are reasonable.

I didn’t know this place existed, and if you don’t know… now you know! I came here for a celebratory lunch, and it was wonderful. You take a look at the menu, order at a counter and find a seat. They bring out your drinks and food to you, so it’s half cafeteria and half regular restaurant. I loved it. I got the pasta special and split some desserts, all of which were delicious. I hear it can get pretty packed, so it’s best to get there close to opening time, for primo seats. They have booths and tables inside, and a lovely outside patio. The service was great and the prices were on the high side, but made sense it was inside of a Nordstrom at Old Orchard. I will definitely be coming back!

I spend way too much time at nordstroms and this hidden gem has become a favorite of mine. The menu isn’t huge but has a little of everything and they are so accomodating– I make a lot of special requests! The kids menu is standard fare and comes with raisins(that they bring out immediately!!) fruit and a drink. Service is fast and friendly and always finishes with a generous portion of the highly popular chocolate sticks.

One of my favorite lunch spots. It’s great with a friend — or a quick bite by myself. I like the shrimp salad or French dip sandwich. They always give me a free refill in a to go cup when I leave. Nice and friendly staff

This was my first Nordstrom café experience. This was a weekday evening and the service was average. The salads were decent but we had requested no bacon and it had bacon :( The red velvet cupcake was really good. They serve the food to your table. The café was clean and presentable. The staff was friendly but I think this could have been a better experience maybe on a different night. It is nice to stop here during busy shopping days I am sure but compared to the other restaurant options in the mall, this would not be my first recommendation.

I was very pleasantly surprised at this place, when my friend dragged me here for lunch a few weeks ago. I ordered the salmon nicoise salad(yes, salmon) but it ended up working out very well. The setup that they have is interesting, with seating you after you place the order, but it turned out to be very efficient. This place gets very popular during lunch and now I know why. Great option when you are in Old Orchard. Don’t forget to try their lemon ricotta cookie :)

One of Old Orchard Mall’s best kept secrets! After spending a super long day shopping I love to GETAWAY from the crowds and eat at Nordstrom Café! Why? 1) Quiet!!! The outdoor seating is so quiet and I feel like I am in someone’s backyard! 2) Delicious!!! The food is amazing, filling, and nice sized portions. It is gourmet without the extravagant price! 3) Signature Chocolate Mints!!! They give away chocolate mint sticks(kind of like the Andes chocolates at Olive Garden) which is the best way to end the meal! Friendly staff and you pay up front! Classy and fine dining at one of my favorite places on earth(Old Orchard Mall) :D

I’ve been to both Nordstrom cafes at woodfield mall and this location and I’ve been very pleased with both. The food is always consistently good. I usually get their salmon Nicoise salad. I can’t believe how a salad can be so filling, but it is. There are plenty of romaine greens topped with green beans, hard boiled eggs, red potatoes, tomatoes, capers and a nice heaping piece of salmon seasoned to perfection. The restaurant tself is clean and there’s always a nice crowd. The waitstaff is aways friendly and pleasing and as one commenter stated the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. This is one of my favorite dining places for lunch. Also, don’t forget to get dessert. Their red velvet cupcake is to die for.

I’ve eaten at Nordstrom Café many times, and the Unilocal reviews don’t do it justice. This place is great – order at the counter, then have it brought to you by the very nice staff. They have many healthy and very reasonably priced entrees, and I’ve never had a bad meal. Pan-seared salmon is delicious, served with a creamy mustard sauce, green beans, and red potatoes for $ 12. I’m floored by Alan C’s poor review – he’s mad that they call him on buying kids’ meals? That’s ballsy – I assume they figure the kid has already been seated when he pays for it at the counter. Bahhh-Humbug! I’m bitterly disappointed with the food. I came in yesterday, for lunch, before I started my holiday shopping. I patiently waited in line for 5 – 8 minutes due to the chaotic shopping frenzy and the copious amounts of people filing in and out of the café. I ordered the cranberry turkey sandwich on multi-grain ciabatta with havarti cheese, bacon bits and bean sprouts– I also ordered the shrimp Louis salad thinking that I could eat half and half and take the rest home for later. The total only came out to be $ 22– «sweet!» was my first initial thought but then when I got my salad it looked like it had been sitting out for a few hours! The leaves were wilted, the dressing glazed the lettuce leaves to the point that they looked soggy. I’ve had this salad from this location many, many times over a number of years. I always order it to go and it always looks wonderful but tastes even better! Yesterday, it looked inedible.(I didn’t even take a picture of it.) It usually comes with a piece of toasted bread and with the dressing on the side– that’s why I was literally flabbergasted at the sight of my salad– there was no bread in sight and the dressing had been poured all over it. Geez. I didn’t even bother trying the sandwich then and there I just put the other half in the box and left. I’m wondering if the chef has changed or maybe they just couldn’t keep up with the high number of orders coming in during their lunch hour ?!! I decided with 3⁄5 stars because until yesterday everything had always been wonderful. I have high hopes for the future and will definitely be back! But I might stay clear of their salads for some time. The sandwich, on the other hand, was delectable. Interior: 6⁄10 Service: 7⁄10 Selection: 7⁄10 Quality: 5⁄10

My friend and I were shopping at Old Orchard Mall and decided to stop here for Lunch. I had never eaten here but my friend said it was good. Look at the menu, go to the counter and order what you want, pay and go find yourself a seat and they bring you your food. I ordered the sandwich, soup and salad combo. I got a turkey sandwich, which was a pretty good size, tasted good and fresh and the soup of the day, which was cream of chicken and rice which was also yummy! Salad with a little side salad, I probably could have gone without it, I’m not a big salad person. All that with a drink was about $ 13. We also left a little tip for the guy who brought us our food and refilled our drinks. They give you these little chocolate mint sticks when you’re finished too, which is a nice little treat!

I always order from the Kid’s Menu because it is cheaper. However, the servers always do not give us the entire meal because they say it is for kids. The problem is that you pay for the meal first at the register, then sit down and wait for the server to bring the stuff to you. A kid’s meal is supposed to come with the entrée, drink, raisins, and fruit. I usually just get the drink, with nothing else. I didn’t pay $ 6.00 for just a drink? This has happened to me multiple times at the café. Seriously, if I paid for something I expect to get it served to me. With a smile.

Sure, there are lots of places to meet your friends at Old Orchard, but why not mix it up and go classy? Menu has an awesome selection– salads and soups are really tasty, and the prices aren’t unreasonable. Décor is nice and you can catch glimpses of chefs working through the kitchen. You order and pay at the counter, and then food is brought out to you by waitstaff.

My first taste of any Nordstrom Café and it was a definite hit. I love the set up, the service was phenomenal, and looking around at the food of other diners, it appeared that everything they serve would be delicious… and this was true. My boyfriend got the turkey sandwich which comes with a delicious side salad… he asked that it be split so I could have some too(there was only one thing on the adult menu that was suitable for a vegetarian and I just wasn’t in the mood for it). The plates, even split, were both huge in portion size and looked spectacular. The salad was amazing and their balsamic vinaigrette was good enough to drink with a straw: cut to me fishing my fork in it and licking it off: I also saw the table next to us got the salmon which came with some roasted potatoes and asparagus and looked truly 5 star and made me salivate. When we were done eating the receipt came and we got 4 chocolate covered mint sticks that were FABULOUS! My bf ate one and I ate the other 3… and easily could have eaten a thousand more. The experience was delightful and the next time I go to any Nordstrom I’ll plan on stopping in for a great treat.
