Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

We love this place! We go at least once a month. The deal of the day has unbeatable value! $ 8.99 for nice size meat, 2 sides, bread and a drink! And the service is ALWAYS great. The owners are pretty nice too. And they always contribute to the community. You’ll see fundraising activities once in a while and they even let our Girl Scouts set up their cookie booth.

Way over priced. Spent over $ 35 for two people and the food wasnt worth the price. Wouldve much rather had sushi for $ 8 less. And the free ice cream is cool but its only vanilla like cmon u cant get chocolate? Vanilla is lame.

I don’t see why people bash Dickey’s. The bbq here even though its a chain is excellent. I got the brisket and it was lean and perfectly tender with a great smoke flavor. The sides aren’t much but the meats are excellent but rather expensive unless you just get it by the pound. The tea and free ice cream are excellent and I love how they keep the sauce in a warmed container with the spicy being my favorite. I search for Dickeys wherever I go because I know I’m going to get great bbq.

Ummm… yeah less than impressed with this place. $ 28 for ribs that were tough and brisket that was nothing but fat. So dissatisfied. Won’t eat here again.

I’ve loved Dickie’s since its been here. Felt so bad about the fire they recently had thought it would be a perfect day to stop in. Ive gotten take out a couple of times but have never eaten in. My husbands out of town and since 1 kid can eat free on Sundays with an adult entrée I thought I’d take my 4 kids there after church. When I went to pay the cashier she said 8 $ and some change, I was like huh? She said they were paying for all the kids. I was so surprised. What a blessing y’all were to our family. Such a thoughtful gesture. Thanks!!!

I am not a big barbecue fan but I must say Dickey’s barbecue pit was pretty good. You walk in and let them know if you are picking up or ordering. The service was pretty fast. The food was delicious. I had the barbecue ribs, pulled pork, and the brisket and it was really good. You can chose from quite a few sides I chose the baked potato casserole and green beans with bacon both were very flavorful. You can choose from original barbecue sauce, sweet, or spicy. I will definitely try this place again.

Ok bbq. Bbq sauce not that good. Nothing special. Sides are bland. Highly over priced. They must bump up their prices to compensate for the free ice cream. Would not go back.

Seriously so happy this place opened because it is SO GOOD. I usually review places if it’s worth it and this was beyond worth it. Our experience there was so good Tuesday night that we ended up getting it for lunch today! The staff is so kind and helpful and Danny the owner is as well. It’s a family vibe when you’re there.
We ordered the Westerner, and man oh man. I got mine with brisket and pulled pork and the boyfriend has pulled pork with the cheddar sausage. We loved every single bite. The meat was delicious and so smokey! The sides are very good too! Coleslaw, baked beans, and Mac and cheese and the onion strings. I don’t think anything you get here could be bad.
We are huge fans and I’ve referred so many people here! Yummy :)
