This Gap is great. More and more Gaps seem to be downsizing and limiting their offerings, or removing their sales racks. This location has it all: Baby Gap, Gap, and Gap Body – and it even has a maternity section. The sales racks were amazing. I walked away with 3 bras, a nightie, and a tank top for 50 bucks. The store is clean, spacious, and well-stocked. There are plenty of dressing rooms and they don’t keep them locked so you don’t have to bug people to come unlock the door. Staff members were friendly, but they weren’t «hovercrafts.» Only downside: Parking is terrible on a Sunday afternoon. Getting in and out of the shopping centre is a nightmare when it’s busy.

I was born a preppy GAPster & I’ll die a preppy GAPster. Their clearance and sales never fail to amaze: $ 75 jacket for $ 9.99? Yes, please. Everything from their chic sweaters to their comfy flats and scarves are always extremely well made and on trend. I have a love for this franchise that drifts above clouds and mountains, deeper than the widest oceans. But unfortunately this location doesn’t really get that. The store itself is in a prime spot: spacious, well stocked, clean: management even has a nifty mailing list for discounts. in theory, absolutely perfect. Surprisingly, my gripe is actually with the staff. As much as it pains me to actually write this, I’ve only had but one decent experience shopping here(last June, an extremely friendly SA rung me out). Nearly each and every time I’ve stepped my foot through the door, not a single person offered assistance. Granted, I’m not a fan of pushy sales ladies but that awkward feeling of making eye contact with an associate and not being given so much as a smile before they’re turning away is. well. awkward. And a little bizarre. There’s this surreal aura of unfriendliness that confuses me. Still, it’s a GAP with many awesome steals to be snagged if you can get over the initial feeling of being a shadow on the wall.

This is where I’d go to find items that have sold– out at the other three babyGaps near Providence.
