These guys are great! Extensive selection of liquor, beer, AND wine… best part is, they’ll carry specialty requests! What more could you ask for?

Every liquor store is the same, right? WRONG! Dead wrong! I should slap you just for thinking that! Paces Bottle Shop is what every «package store”/“Bottle shop”/“liquor store» should be. Sure it’s small, but they have a great selection AND it’s not smelly! So many liquor stores are smelly. This one is not. They take great pride in the store and it shows. The owner is always there and always available to help. He’s super personable and will go out of his way to find you whatever you need. Most of the time, I get pretty basic things, but really had a hankering for a nice, dry rosé and I didn’t want to pay out the nose. He ended up finding me a great, reasonably priced bottle that wound up being EXACTLY what I wanted! It was delicious. That kind of product knowledge does not come around very often, and I really appreciated it. I also have to respectfully disagree with Joseph’s review about the prices. I really think most of their prices are in line with other places and typically less that you pay in a grocery store (especially for their wine). Fortunately, I drive past Paces Bottle Shop every day on my way home from work, but if I ever move out of the area, I will likely go out of my way to continue shopping here. Great little place!

A mixed bag here. The liquor, beer, and wine selections are both lacking as the store itself is quite small, and the prices are higher than you will find elsewhere. Adversely, the customer service is excellent and they care about their customers. Furthermore, you’ll spend more in gas driving to and from the next package store than you’re likely to save. Despite the small yet still serviceable nature of the store, you’ll find yourself coming back out of convenience and for the owners’ friendly faces– a true testament to treating your customers right.
It also doesn’t hurt that even as the parking lot of the strip will be full, you can always park right in front of the shop, in the dedicated parking spaces.

I’ve always loved the Paces Bottle Shop located in the strip mall next to Bella’s Pizzeria on the corner of Atlanta Road and Paces Ferry. They have a very good selection of spirits to choose from and the prices are comparable to the other liquor stores in town. Also the staff is always friendly and more than helpful in help you pick out the perfect beverage to suit your needs.
