I bought a Groupon over a year ago for two microdermabrasion treatments. The first treatment went fine. My second treatment scheduled, Eliabeth called to inform me the microderm equipment was down, and that she could do a chemical peel instead or reschedule. I decided to go in for a chemical peel. Long story short, she left a 30% glycolic peel on too long (she left the room with the peel on to go do paper work, make schedules, etc) and burned me leaving oozing sores on my face. She offered no ointments to take with me. She just said you need hydrocortisone. Go get some from drug store, and no more treatments for a few days. I did exactly that, along with lots of moisture, and sun screen. Once I healed, I wind up with dark marks, and some minor hypotropic scars where the peel went too deep from being on too long. This is my face! A few coworkers asked what happened??? I used lightening creams to try to get rid of the burn marks, but they never completely went away. No way a 30% glycolic should leave oozing sores on my face if done properly. I also think she was way too agressive. I am a brown skin girl, and you really have to know black skin. I think this spa is too reckless and carefree.

So glad I chose to do my microdermabrasion here. My face looks SO good, this is my 3^rd I’ve done here and i’ve seen so much improvement on my skin (without changing my everyday products). Elizabeth is delicate with your face and always recommend the best treatments within your budget. I recommend U Medspa completely! It’s worth the money, time and trust!

After years of ‘chemical peels’ from Spa Sydell and not seeing much improvement, I was desperate to find someone new. So, I purchased a Groupon for 3 microdermabrasions to see if that was the treatment that I needed to get clearer, smoother skin. I made my appointment and met with Elizabeth. I immediately felt comfortable and could tell that she was a very knowledgeable and caring aesthitician. The thing that I loved most about her is she wasn’t pushy about trying to up-​sale me. She made some recommendations and told me that I could take my time to think it over. Her recommendations included dietary changes, over-​the-​counter products, and different services and products that were offered at her facility. After making the recommended dietary changes and buying the over-​the-​counter products that she recommended, I began to TRUST her. Now, one year later, she is the only person that I will let touch my face. I see her once a month, without fail. She analyzes my skin and decides what treatment I need that day. Elizabeth has performed microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and standard facials for me. Now, I am closer than ever to having the skin I’ve always wanted. I now have skin that I go without make-​up 75% of the time and only use make-​up/​foundation for special occasions and I feel comfortable. My mother saw me over Thanksgiving and said «I can’t even look at you and tell you have problem skin!» That, from a woman who’s never had acne in her life, is the compliment of all compliments. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t see Elizabeth at U Med Spa for ALL of your skincare needs.

Elizabeth honored my groupin a day after I bought it! Clean and serene spa. I will come back for more treatments in the future…

I must begin by saying don’t be put off by U MedSpa’s phone etiquette! Some of their employees seem less educated on phone etiquette, but they are still extremely kind! They may also seem less professional at times, but it is only because they are so nice!
I have been receiving laser hair removal (LHR) treatments for my underarms at U MedSpa for approximately one year, and I am always satisfied. The woman that does my treatments is so kind and informative, and she always remembers things I have said in the past! We spend about ten minutes together each month and she always remembers to ask me about school, my nephew, or other things I have mentioned in passing. She is a wonderful lady!
U MedSpa also provides the comfort of numbing areas before treating them. They lay ice packs on my underarms to insure that I cannot feel the zap of the laser. Honestly, the ice packs are the least comfortable part!
I had an experience with U MedSpa in which my appointment was «lost» due to a computer malfunction, and, even though they had other appointments, they attained permission from their clients to squeeze me in so that I would not have to drive back up again. They were so apologetic, I couldn’t help but appreciate them.
Overall, U MedSpa is a casual, clean, relaxing atmosphere filled with the nicest people you may ever meet. I highly recommend them!
