Second time at this location the cashier has overcharged me and not given me a receipt. Poor service and cold food. Hey Carl’s Jr. Why are your employees ripping people off?

I suppose as far as fast food goes, this Carl’s Jr. is a-okay. I happened to be next door getting my tires rotated and had a coupon for Carl’s Jr. so I figured I’d give it a try. My coupon was for the Big Chicken Filet meal and I wanted to upgrade the regular fries to the crisscut fries. The cashier pondered how to do this and then told me that she couldn’t do it because the coupon was for a small fry and the crisscut fries only come in one size. Seems like she could have just charged me the price difference then between a small fry and the crisscut fries but I didn’t have the willpower to argue with her. The sandwich was large and as a light eater, I made it into two meals. The fries were okay but would have been much better as crisscut seasoned fries.

Usually when you order coffee with cream and sugar via the drive thru you get a stirrer for the ingredients. Maybe Carl’s Jr. Has magical ingredients that mix automatically. It’s just this is the norm now a days with these fast food restaurants. Cheap help. Why can’t you be like McDonalds where they put the cream and the sugar in the coffee before the service to the customer.

This is the 5th Carl’s Jr. establishment we’re been to within this 7 day journey of our Arizona/Vegas/Cali trip. This location has a great give n cleanliness to it. Staffs are friendly n courteous. Hmmm… I’ll stick with my Big Chicken sandwich n nothing else… yes, it’s that clucking good!

Burger with hot dog on it and a drink for 8 bucks. How can anyone argue with that? I am a little put off by the bathroom being a single person and really really in need of some deep cleaning. But the food was good for what it was and the staff was friendly.

I went to this location about 15 minutes ago. I took the girl I am seeing to meet my mother, we saw Chappie at the movie theater, and overall had an excellent evening. However, we made the mistake of stopping at this Carls Jr. for some chicken tenders. Carls Jr. was completely empty, and we were the only customers. We had a very simple order that consisted of one item: 3 piece chicken nugget. The wait wasn’t bad, but I had VERY clearly stated that I’d like buffalo sauce. We took the chicken home, and I opened my bag to find a single serving of honey mustard. I recommend that anyone that uses this location confirm their sauce condiments before leaving the drive through. My night is ruined. Thanks Carl.

My review is simple. I found a live fly in between the burger patty and bun in my burger. It was my first time going to a Carls Jr. And it will be the only time I go to a Carl’s Jr.

I don’t usually review fast food, or read reviews on them, but when I do, it’s usually not good. Long story short, service was not good, abd apparently they had better things to do than make the food right. worse part is springing for large fries, and they literally gave me less than half. It was so terrible, I had to share

Just another in a long list of chain burger joints. The usual Carl’s menu and the usual level of cleanliness. Only worth a stop if craving a Western burger or in dire need of some calories, just don’t expect high quality grub.

The place to go when I am looking for a cheap lunch with their dollar spicy chicken sandwiches! There high-end burgers are delicious and the company has the best advertisement commercials. Hot girls + delicious burgers! Can’t get better than that. The workers are friendly and they make your food right quick!

FOODPOISONING!!! On Jan. 13, 2012 I purchase a Super Star for lunch. Located on 106 Solana Hills Drive Solana Beach, CA92075 On my way home that evening I began to feel discomfort and sick to my stomach. I spend 3 days in bed with food poisoning! I missed out working 3 days! I went to Dr. and was diagnosed with food poisoning. I can not believe food is being served to people that is no good! STAYAWAY!!!

not bad food… i have only come here when i got a really good coupon… like«free with no purchase» that’s really the only reason. my son LOVES the $ 1 spicy chicken sandwich… daughter hates it and there are no $ 1 options for her… so not a regular place for us… i’m down with the $ 1 menu… i seem to have better value menu luck at other fast food places… and if i’m gonna have a burger and spend more than a buck… i’ll see you at Smashburger!

I am happy to report, in case anyone cares, that this Carls Jr now takes American Express(in addition to Visa, etc.). AND they just swipe it and hand it back to you with receipt… no more clipboard through the window. Thank you, Carls Jr. We will definitely visit more often now.

Stopped here for a quick bite. It was quick and convenient. I wasn’t in the mood for a big meal so opted for the kid’s cheeseburger meal.(Yes, a kid’s meal fills me up!) I can’t remember the last time I went to CJ’s, but I’m a big fan of their charbroiled burgers. My friend decided to mess with the computerized ordering system. Since it was taking so long I decided to order at the counter. It did take a while for the employees to notice I was standing there — I was a bit annoyed. The employee took my order. Although the employee was nice, she was very soft spoken and I could barely make out what she was saying since she had a thick accent. I had to keep asking her to repeat what she said. The food was cooked to order, but it did take awhile for the food to come out. At the time, it was NOT busy. The cheese on my burger was not entirely melted, which was disappointing. My friend mentioned that they overcharged his fried zucchini. I’m happy that CJ’s does carry Diet Dr. Pepper, however, which is a big plus in my book.

I don’t understand the hate for this Carl’s Jr? 2 and 3 stars? Really? Carl’s Jr has some of the best burgers out there for a fast food joint. It’s not In N Out, but it’s not trying to be either. Anyways cruised by this Carl’s and saw the 2 Western Bacon Cheeseburgers for $ 4 yesterday and I was sold! Cruised through the drive through behind a gal that ordered as much crap food as she could and from the backseat of the car in front of me.(I think she was high *wink*) The burgers were good, and the onion rings were probably the best I have had at a Carl’s ever.

I hate the commercials saying they have these great burgers! They do not! Even if you use a coupon for BOGO it’s still not good! They are lukewarm, tasteless and boring and if you have bacon on it, awful! The bacon is cold and hard. They have a big sign on this Carl’s Jr. that says, «Come check us out». They fixed up the place but still not nice in there. The guy at the counter was very nice and that is why they get 2 stars. He was delightful! Big smile and patient and just pleasant. Wish these big businesses knew that the people who work for them are the most important part of their businesses, not their end of year bonus! If you need a pricey burger that is delicious, Wood Ranch! If you need a delicious hot burger for cheap everyone knows In n Out!!! I’ve eaten my last crap burger!

I used to like Carl’s Jr. Once I realized I wasn’t going to live forever, I started ordering extra bacon and extra cheese on everything and Carl was always happy to accommodate me. But this place, despite the mini-mallish neighborhood, is more hood than neighborly. Two visits ago, my wife opened the entry door and some wheezy degenerate senior lobbed a loogie out the door in front of her. Now, that’s class, my friends. It was a particularly painful experience for me because she was running in to order food while I read the paper in the car and I felt bad because I wasn’t there to protect her. Last visit, I had to repeat my order 16 times to the moron working the squawkbox. I got so frustrated I just started yelling my order from the car window to her window in the restaurant herself. Geez, if I had know ordering was this tough, I would have paid more attention in all those Tagalog classes I took back in school or while I was away on Westpac.* So, Carl, I’m not sure if I’ll give you any more chances. Unless I’m really drunk. Then, anything goes and I’ll be the one lobbing loogies. *Never been on Westpac but I like the stories about the many temptations which can be found in the exotic ports of call in the Far East.** **Far East includes New York City and D.C.(e.g. «escort» services utilized by certain Democratic politicians).

Place could use a good cleaning and/or remodeling. Placed a to go order which was prepared correctly and quickly. Drink prices are a bit high here — almost $ 1.50 for a «medium.» This location has self-ordering during rush periods though looking at the staff I don’t know if I would trust the kiosk. You walk up, use the touch screen, slide your credit card through or insert cash and your order is placed. No coupons, please — you have to use the regular register for those. The machine was not on as it was a slow time Saturday. This location feeds you but not in an exciting way. I guess you could say it gets the job done. A solid 3 star performer.
