I have been to the original when I used to goto school in amherst. The wings here is not the same, terrible service, and smaller proportions. Not a huge fan of this location.

Food is fine. But not worth the two hour wait. Multiple calls and was told each time it would take another 10 – 15 minutes. Better not to offer delivery if it’s not something that can be kept up with.

Ordered 60 wings(buffalo & sweet BBQ) at 9pm on a Friday, and the delivery arrived super fast(maybe 30 minutes). My only complaint is that we were given a small cup of blue cheese for all of the wings. Next time I will ask for extra. Not the greatest wings in the world, but they get an extra star for the speedy delivery. Wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again the next time I have an apartment full of hungry drunk people.

This is the worst wings over ever. I ordered wings at 10:30 on a Wednesday night. An hour and a half before they close and ordered a small order of wings to be delivered 5 min down the road. They never showed up. No call or anything. Any other wing location either delivers or at least calls to say they are unable to deliver. I called the location multiple times to confirm the order with no answer at all. Do not order from here.

We were craving wings and decided to give this place a shot. I. Ordered online and food was delivered within 30min even though it said it would take an hour. Wings arrived nice and hot =) We ordered golden BBQ, honey BBQ and crusinin buffalo wings. The Golden BBQ were definitely the best. Buffalo needed a little more sauce but I guess I should’ve asked for extra since that was an option. Give this place a try if you’re craving large, juicy, and flavorful wings!

So today Thursday I ordered off foodler say fourth bucks worth of chicken and fries did it for pick up and walked about ten mins there to get them I waited about 15 to leave with the estimated time to be ready 10 mins when I arrived the food was not done I waited and three other people came in got served and left I legit waited 40 mins inside plus the 15 mins to walk there anyways frustrated I left came back and was expecting hot crisp food it wasn’t cold out so that didn’t take from the heat but the boneless chicken was dry and just warm the wings where undercooked and cool fries were warm and the cheese waffle fries I paid 6 bucks for were disgusting and cold save your money or go to kfc this place is not worth it very slow and crappy quality food.

First off, I highly recommend you pickup your order instead of getting delivery. Their drivers are slammed with orders, and you have your food 3 times as fast. That being said, I’m a huge fan of Wings Over Somerville. I’ve had the bone in wings, but I mostly order the boneless. My favorite flavors are Honey BBQ and Garlic Parmesan. The combo meals are the best deal. Ask for extra sauce & fries well done.

Ordered food. Hour and a half later it didn’t show up. Called for an eta they said«shortly» and maybe 15 min. An hour an a half later they said they didn’t have the order. They said they would refund the order and have it to us in 15 min. 3 and a half hours after the original order they said they couldn’t give it to us. Needless to say I will never be ordering from here again.

How can you not love wings? These wings rock. They are wings. And they rock. That’s all you need.

Wings were flimsy, soft and cold. Was told that they would be delivered in an hour and it took an hour and 40 minutes(late on a Sunday). Poor follow through, product and delivery. Will never order again.

Horrible service. This was the last time I’m giving this place my money, and I highly recommend you don’t tip until you actually get delivery. I was quoted an hour to hr &15 minute delivery, and the order took 2 hours(for a regular order of boneless wings). After an hour and a half of waiting, I called to check on my order mentioning it had been out for delivery for a while. The person answering the phone might as well have just shrugged. There was no offer to call the delivery person, nor did he even try to lie to me to assure me that the order would be there soon. «It’s on its way.» Great, thanks. A half hour later, the delivery person calls me and tells me he’s here. I come down to what is very clearly the front door of my apartment building and the guy’s not there. I walk outside to look on the street and he’s not there. I look for a car w/a Wings Over sign, and there’s none there. The hell? I call him back. For whatever reason this guy had been waiting on the corner around the block where he’d parked instead of just walking the 50 ft(max) to the front of the apartment building. I’m not sure if he was an idiot, lazy, or both, but it didn’t matter. Never giving this place my money again.

Good customer service… They have a great variation of wings and you can choose how spicy you want them, and you can even mix up the flavored. For instance five buffalo wings and five honey bbq wings. The salad was not good. Plus they have other things also like wraps etc.

I spent my college years eating Wings Over Syracuse, so I was ecstatic when my friends informed me that they also deliver to Cambridge, where I’d stayed recently. The hangar deals are great deals, and the boneless honey bbq brought me right back to freezing winter nights in Syracuse, warmed by cheap beer and wings. Even objectively, the wings are very good — my friends who tasted for the first time were very pleased. Nothing in particular to complain about in terms of ordering, delivery time, or delivery person.

I graduated from UMass Amherst in 2003. I ordered from The Hanger(the originial«Wings over») so often, that 12 years later, I still remember their phone number. That being said; I ordered from Wing’s over Somerville for the first time today, expecting what I had been accustomed to so long ago in Amherst. The Wings in Amherst had awesome customer service, delivered when they said the would, and for the most part, remembered any extras you ask for. Wings over Somerville, on the other hand, has awful customer service. I placed my order online… I was only allowed to order one type of wing sauce, and was not able to order extra bleu cheese(which, I hate to admit, is my favorite part). Ok, I can deal with that, since I only ordered the Hang Glider(DC-3 with fries and a drink). What irritated me was that at 11:33 am I got a call telling me my food was here(I work in a 4 story building in Somerville, and had specified the 4th floor in 2 separate places when placing my order). I asked the delivery person if they were on the fourth floor, he said«no, I’m downstairs and I’m not coming up». I told him that I would be down in a couple of minutes. I now had to get my keys from my desk so I could get back into my office suite and go down 4 floors. I got on the elevator and walked out into the downstairs lobby at 11:36 am(3 minutes later), but there was no one in the lobby. At that time, my phone started ringing again… it was the delivery person, asking where I was. I hung up on him when I saw him standing outside, about 20 feet away from the door. I walked over to get my food, which he handed to me without a word, and without making any eye contact. I was infuriated by all of this, because not only had I been charged a delivery fee, but I had also already tipped him since I had ordered online. The food wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t great either; definitely not what it was in Amherst. I will never be ordering from this place again… It was an enormous waste of my time. I order delivery a lot while I’m at work, because I don’t have time to be running around. In my opinion, Wings over Somerville only half delivered my order, which is unacceptable to me. I’m really hoping that The Hanger is still as good as it used to be.

The wings are delicious and the honey bbq are my personal favorite, but the problem is consistency. When the wings are great, they’re GREAT. But when it’s bad, they’re over fried, fries are cold, and honestly the waffle fries are always soggy. If you want buffalo wings then yes this is the place, but be sure to be close by when ordering and don’t wait for them to drop off.

We ordered wings over somerville. We ordered a ton of wings and some fries as well. However, when the order came, no fries. We called and told them the predicament, but then the worker just hung up. We then complained to the driver but the driver said he wanted no part in helping. Awful experience.

What the dangus happened to this place? Used to be awesome, then the quality consistently went downhill. Last order I made they didn’t even include dipping sauces, even though I ordered extra. I’ll let that sink in. Don’t waste your money with this place. Management has made it clear that they give zero poops about their employees and therefore your order. Get wings from elsewhere, because these jerks deserve to go bankrupt.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They limit 2 flavors per order no matter how many pounds of wings you want to buy. I do not recommend this place if you have large orders because they have no clue how to properly serve them Wings Over is a great chain, but this particular location has sub par wings and not customer friendly

I ordered from here through Foodler tonight. I was quoted a one hour delivery time, and the order showed up 50 minutes late. The fries were soggy and gross. Chicken was good, I guess. I wasn’t a huge fan of the sauce I chose but that’s just my personal taste, not their fault. All in all, not worth it unless you’re willing to be patient and understand that your order will not show up anywhere close to on time.

I had always been a fan of «Wings Over(insert city here)» ever since they invaded Brookline nearly a decade ago. They were a go-to staple of mine when going out with friends as the chicken was tender, delicious and the numerous sauces were all a hit. They weren’t all that healthy, but it was college… Then the quality went downhill about 6 years ago and being more health conscious as well, I decided to go there only occasionally. Now I live far away enough from any location to only go there once a year, if that. Last night was such a night. Two friends of mine and I, fresh from a trip to the nearby Aeronaut Brewery decided to walk over to this location to get us some wings to go. I ordered a DC-10, which is about a pound of chicken. This option is great because you can get two sauces instead of one. Fast forward a couple of minutes and we all placed our orders and waited… and waited… and wait. Then my friend’s order finally came even though he ordered after me. Eventually mine came about fifteen minutes after that. No apologies or nothing from the staff. We must have stood there for nearly forty minutes. We were good sports and never said a thing to the staff, but they clearly didn’t care. They were too busy dicking around behind the counter, talking, texting and ignoring everything else going on around them. They weren’t rude or anything but they clearly didn’t care. I didn’t touch my wings until I got back home to Waltham. I was super excited to get my two favorite flavors: Mustang Ranch and West Texas Mesquite, which are both dry rubs. I also paid extra for the celery and extra blue cheese which they were more than happy to nickel and dime me for. I knew that coming in though so I can’t argue that. Excited, I got home, kicked my shoes off, turned on the TV and opened the styrofoam container. It smelled great but then I took a bite. And another. And then realized that this was so incredibly salty that it was basically inedible. It tasted like salt. Salt and a bit of the dry rubs. It was so salty that it was almost as if I was chewing on ramen seasoning packets. I tried to douse my wings in as much blue cheese sauce as possible to try and get them down but only managed to eat about 3 – 4 wings and threw out the rest. I’m not 100% sure what happened to the quality of this chain but it’s been going downhill for a while now and there’s no sign of them turning anything around. They’ve become complacent and frankly, even though their chicken is top notch, the sauces and dry rubs have become garbage. I’d be hard pressed to return again. It’s a shame really as their various offerings are enticing and their sauces are varied and unique enough that it could keep people coming back for more. But not me, I’ve learned my lesson now. Every time I return, I just end up disappointed and missing the good old days from about 8 or 9 years ago when they were awesome. It’s a shame.
