I was late and went in to get breakfast before work. I ordered a breakfast burrito and they gave me a wrap for some reason. After when I went to eat it, I found s huge piece of hair in the wrap. I felt disappointed and grossed out and through the entire breakfast away, I would never go back.

Great local business! The food is always excellent and the service is outstanding. The woman who owns the restaurant is seriously the best — always kind and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re in the neighborhood!

I mean I don’t know how you can mess up on eggs? My omelette was real watery with no taste no nothing. I decided to check it out since it’s literally right across the street from my job. You know how they say you get what pay for. Well they were not talking about this place, the food is overpriced and it’s crappy food. I’m definitely not coming to this place.

The breakfast wraps were passable, but neither the homefries nor the hashbrowns were good.

Waitress didn’t want to be at work, food was bland but edible. Overpriced food and dirty coffee mugs. Thirty dollars for two people to eat breakfast.

Bad place, dirty utensils, the potatoes were plain, loud tv, only 30 mins parking limit… they charged me $ 13 for my ‘barely edible’ omelette and its CASH only! Only 1 waitress that tries to do it all… Nice try, I wont be back!

Casual diner with nothing special going on. The food was serviceable. I guess that’s all you can ask for. The Wi-Fi is free because the waitress tells you to use the Hospital’s wi-fi next door. That wifi doesn’t let you use VPNs or SSH as far as I could tell.

Terrible service; waited 45 minutes at a table, while they filled take-out orders and ignored us. Also noisy, dirty, no restrooms, and cash only. Seriously awful. We showed up after the morning rush. The place was only half full, and everyone else had already been served. We ordered and waited. The table was sticky, the server never refilled our water glasses, there was bad music and a noisy TV. We waited over half an hour. The place was empty except for one other couple who had already eaten. We were really hungry. Where was our food? Then the cook started stacking up take-out boxes. It turns out that he opted to fill a big take out order(at least 8 or 9 meals) instead of making our breakfast. We were about ready to leave, but the server came up to us and said the cook was starting on our food right then. We decided to wait. 10 minutes later, nothing. I pretended to look for a bathroom(there isn’t one) and peeked in the kitchen, to see an empty grill. 45 minutes, and they hadn’t even started. This was just too much. We walked out. Halfway to the car, the server came out on the sidewalk and yelled after us for not paying for our coffee. Yeah, you can have your lousy burnt coffee and your two tablespoons of cream back, if we can have our 45 minutes back. Jerks. How about you serve the paying customers, instead of favoring the«big sale», ignoring us, and hollering at us in the street? This place sucks. Never again. P. S. — No exaggeration on the time it took. We had to walk a half-mile, round-trip, to get cash from a real ATM(this sticky dump is cash only) and the timestamp was printed on the receipt.

There are usually tables here even at brunchtime, but it’s because the food isn’t great. Eggs are more or less eggs. I’ve had pancakes that just weren’t very good. I don’t order more adventurous items because if you can’t make good pancakes it’s gonna be downhill from there. Prices are not suited to the lackluster fare, a decent breakfast will run you the same $ 10 as everywhere else. I try my luck at Supreme sometimes because it’s around the corner from my house, but if it was two blocks further I’d never give it a thought.

I came here on a Saturday because I didn’t realize Highland Kitchen’s brunch was only on Sundays and I really wanted brunch. This place was within walking distance so I thought I’d give it a try. I usually take bad reviews about places with a grain of salt, but it this case they were right. This is truly terrible food. The server was nice enough, but I should have known when the cook«Stan» wearing blue jeans and a long sleeved striped shirt was watching TV when I came in that I was in trouble. I ordered the«Irish» eggs benedict, Irish being for the corn beef hash it was served with. The corn beef hash was barely warm and clearly from a can, the bread was gummy and disgusting and the Hollandaise was thick and overwhelming. The only thing that was good were the poached eggs, but they were overwhelmed by the rest of the bad. Also, the«home fries» were thin slices of dry, overcooked potatoes. I’m not sure why I ate as much as I did other than maybe I felt bad. Do not go here.

I have eaten here a fair number of times. The staff are very nice, really, but I find it unsurprising that they would argue and take it personally if anyone had anything critical to say. They are good, decent people who are doing the best with what they have, and their food is usually fine for what it is. But don’t expect too much. A few hints: you get much better food when the place is empty. ASK if they are making the food with fresh ingredients(I once was served an omelette containing canned spinach, but they would have told me that if I had been bothered to ask). ASK what they are serving a lot of. ASK what they have fresh. ASK what they think is good and LISTEN to them when they talk because they are very open and honest about what they are doing. If you’re looking for sprightly service and unproblematic substitutions and endless supplies of many really fresh ingredients, go to Ball Square Café or the Neighborhood Restaurant or someplace else that serves high volume. If you don’t feel like walking all that way and want a decent plate of ham and eggs with not greasy potatoes, Supreme Kitchen is just fine.

Well, well, well… what do we have here?! A breakfast place that also serves lunch?! YES! I went here one day as a fluke, you see I wanted a meatball sub but not just any meatball sub. I need my balls homemade. I need my balls moist with sauce. I need a freshly braided and sesame seeded roll. I need to feel like I am appreciated when I walk into a place and order. I walked into Supreme Kitchen on a Saturday afternoon and was the only female in the joint, save for their wonderful and friendly waitress, Felicia. She told me that the sub comes without cheese and that is fine w/me. I actually don’t enjoy melted cheese on a meatball sub. I just like the meatballs and sauce and bread to shine in all their glory. I ordered a meatball sub to go and it came with a little bag of Utz potato chips and was CHEAP, under seven buck and it was TASTY! I really appreciated the notion that their meatballs are homemade. Wait, were they homemade? I don’t know, but they tasted damn homemade and not the frozed middle school cafeteria crap I’m used to getting at places around these parts. They had some really cool sandwich names like the Doug Heffernan, Archie Bunker, Ray Romano. I will happily return and try this place for breakfast too!

I hate this place! I got pumpkin pancakes last fall here, and they were so gross. They were cold, and basically pumpkin mush from a can on a plate in the shape of a circle. When my friend and I returned them because they were so gross, the waitress got so mad at us and raved about how she thinks that we are crazy since everyone else«loves them» which was rude and not necessary. She then brought us regular pancakes that were also gross, but I didn’t want to bring them back again because I didn’t want the waitress to blow up! I never returned here and I definitely never will!

This probably was one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had in my life. The service is really unwelcoming. There was a hair baked into the stale blueberry muffin, my pancakes were an inch thick, raw in the middle and slightly burnt on the outside. The scrambled eggs I ordered was a thin pancake of egg. There was also a hair in my son’s waffles. We asked for tap water and the waitress told us that its going to be warm tap water from the faucet and that we should just buy a bottle of water from the cooler. The ATM they have because they’re cash only didn’t work and my husband had to run down the street and get cash somewhere else to pay. This place is so bad. Don’t go.

I went here yesterday, and this location was chosen as a halfway point for us to meet. When reading the reviews I figured it was a good hole in the wall restaurant and worth a shot. I ordered a veggie omelet with no cheese; when the waitress asked if i wanted toast and home fries, I asked her if instead I could have just sliced tomatoes on the side. She responded by telling me they don’t do that — but she could order me a side of tomatoes and charge me for it. I would have had no problem with this except when the order came out — the tomatoes were far from fresh and I was given a measly 3 slices. The other guest in my party ordered an omelet and opted for the toast and home-fries; the toast came out and both pieces were from the end on the loaf and stated that the omelet was mediocre at best. They offered self serve coffee which some would think was nice, but when I go to a restaurant I expect to have coffee served to me — hence part of the tip. We also had to get our own water/juice from the cooler which felt more like a to-go service than a sit-down breakfast. When it came time to pay, we were informed that they did not take credit cards — there were no signs of «Cash Only» anywhere so this was a bit of a surprise. We were instructed to use their ATM to pull out cash. Again, this would have not been an issue if we were informed upfront or if signs were posted letting us know. If you aren’t a regular at this establishment, you are in for a few unpleasant surprises. The waitress was nice enough — but the service and food combined was not enough to justify a return visit from either one of us.

I’m a huge fan of these local family-owned breakfast/lunch diners. They have personality and treat you like a regular, even if you’re not. I dropped in here alone while visiting my wife because I was craving a straightforward eggs and home fries breakfast with good coffee(namely — something that wasn’t Dunkin’). Came in, the waitress was as nice as could be, the cook chatted with the customers, and I got a meal that was exactly what I wanted. Nothing fancy, not superb cuisine — just a solid standby breakfast served with a smile. I’ll spend $ 10 here over $ 4 at a chain like Dunkin’ any day of the week. Support your local businesses, you guys. They’re the fabric of our society and you’ll find plenty of good people to chat with as well.

Meh. Drop the«reme» from the name and you get what’s really going on here. Tired, uninspired, basic fare. Went here for a late breakfast on a Sunday. The kitchen is slow. The coffee is self-serve. The salsa they served with my omelet was rancid. We ordered our hash browns crispy and they landed on the plate as pale as the day they were shaved from the tater. The OJ is good. If you’re desperate for brunch it’ll do, but it’s not destination dining.

Tried Supreme for the first time on Tuesday. It’s been popping up on my mobile Unilocal as a place to go for breakfast so I figured I would give it a shot. Cute little spot across the street from the Somerville Hospital. Parking can be an issue because of this. I do enjoy the self serve coffee bar. When I want a refill I want it NOW and I can stroll on up and take care of business. Going to a breakfast place during the week doesn’t give you a good feel on how well they run their restaurant. I can only imagine how tight the coffee bar area is on a Saturday or Sunday morning. UGH! Coffee was tasty regardless. I ordered the Patton. An omelet with brocoli, spinach, feta and avocado. Great group of ingredients but it didn’t really have any pizazz or pop. Could of used some spices to liven up the mixture. Hashbrowns had same issue. Either cook them a little more to give them some crisp or get some spices in the mix. For real! I do enjoy all of the interestingly named specials like my Patton. I read that the names change all of the time depending on the time of year. Interesting concept. Had to pay extra for english muffin. Hmm… Bill came to just over $ 16 with a to go iced coffee. A little high in my opinion but not ridiculous. Would be willing to go back again… Interesting artwork on the wall. Highly influenced by Kandinsky who I love!

Gotta love it when a business has the cojones to say, in its name, «the space in which we cook is superior to all others.» Oh yeah? Prove it. Late one Sunday morning, the good folks at this HITW came pretty close. Standard diner fare(the cakes, the coffee, the bennies) get pumped up by some element of greatness(perfectly griddled, self-serve and international takes, respectively). But ’twas a rarely-offered item that grabbed me by Diana Ross & The Supremes: country fried steak! Served under sausage gravy and plated separately from the accompanying triplet of eggs, home fries and a pair of biscuits, the pounded beef slab rocked a crusty, salty coating and cut easily forkside. I could eat it every day, and by doing so, would cut my lifespan to approximately two weeks. Of course, with a menu price of only $ 9, you too can buy a lifetime of sustenance for only $ 126! Act now! S&H separate. Is it paramount AM cuisine forged from the perfect fires of the acme of ranges? No. But you know what they call a rich, creamy sauce like the gravy atop my baller CFS? Right, a suprême. Clever girl.

Yeah for hashbrowns! Being from the west coast, trying to find hashbrowns in MA is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I was so excited driving to this place… eggs benny AND hashbrowns… score! Sadly, when I asked how they made the hollandaise, they said it was the powdered kind… what the!!! POWDER… hollandaise… um ew and EW. So I went for the western omelette, which was really tasty, nice big chunks of veggies, which was especially good after the Sunnyside café fiasco the day before. The hashbrowns come in two forms, what they call shredded(I call it normal hashbrowns) and then something that I think comes in a McDonalds-like form. I had the normals and they were okay, but I was wishing they were more buttery and golden. Next time, I’ll be sure to ask for that.
