Delicious. Best food I’ve tasted in Sonoma. Worth the wait. Great prices… extra red sauce! Mmm

The food is ok just ok. Nothing special at all. Most people that stop here are intoxicated from the local bars so to them it’s the best Mexican food on the planet lol. it’s definitely nothing to go out of your way for. I’ve actually had a couple bad experiences but never had the time to share with the Unilocalers. The last time I was there I ordered 6 tacos. 3 asada 3 carnitas… I took I bite of one of the carnitas tacos and all my senses rejected it and my stomach turned. The meat had a foul smell. Smelled old or like it was reheated or re grilled with some really old oil or mixed with some spoiled meat. I chucked the plate straight in the garbage can and walked away. I’m not the complaining type I’ll just never go back. And like I said it wasn’t the first time there has been multiple occasions. On that note, your better off at Taco Bell up the street !

Mucho MUCHOMUCHOLOVELABAMBA! I have lived in Sonoma my whole life and grew up on Mexican food… None of the other TRUCKSOR Restaurants can compare with la BAMBA and the food they put out consistently everynight! I wish they would bring a truck to the East Side! Wake up Sonoma and go give your taste buds a Mexican Fiesta!

Best kept secret in the North Bay! Hola Sonoma!!! And this review comes just in time as Cinco de Mayo is this week! Trust me when I say that this is one of the best taco trucks ever. We ate here after already eating dinner, and miraculously had a second stomach for Mexican food. Across from Fairmont is La Bamba! You can’t miss its location as you’ll see the cars and line of folks waiting to get their grub on! And you’ll want to start singing the infamous song as soon as you try their Mexican deliciousness! Amazing carnitas and carne asada tacos and burritos. Meat is tender and savory. You haven’t lived unless you try the gordita de chicharrones! Muy bueno!!! Prices are reasonable, so bring cash! Don’t forget to check the board for specials! They have horchata! I’ll be hitting this truck up again in the very near future! Adiós mis amigos!

Will update this review with more visits. They make a good burrito here. It is a long wait, somewhat. Very good, unique but familiar.

Talk about a great late night treat! I am never interested prior to 11PM on the weekends, but once I finish a great night out on the town, I crave La Bamba. One of the better mexican food trucks out there, simple, but very good! I usually try to call ahead as sometimes they either take their time or have a lot of orders to go through.

Jus t came back from visiting somona. Came across the taco truck one night. As a chef I was a little nervous about the truck. It was awesome. Great food and great people. A must stop for anyone looking for great food late at night.

Hit this spot up on the way home from Beer Fest in SF, it was exactly what we needed! The wait was a little long but well worth it. I got the gordita de chícharon(Beans melted cheese and pork crack :)), and a torta chilanga(if I rember correctly– beans, steak, ham, fried egg, jalapeños). Nothing disappointed and to top it off they sell Gansitos! I will definitely be back.

unfortunately, i completely agree with shanes review. i ordered tonight and watched countless mexican customers pull right up a get their 8, 9, 10 plates of food after i ordered. one white woman waited for over an hour for her food, complaining each time someone who came after her received their order before her. her complaints fell on def ears. they had a sign saying the wait time was approximately 40 minutes… WOULDHAVEBEENNICETOSEETHATINENGLISH. I like spicy food but both quesadillas, which took forever to get, were covered in extremely spicy oil. totally inedible. were my name not attached to this review, id have some choice words to describe just how i feel. really not cool to be discriminated against.

Love the food been a loyal loyal customer for 16 years. Unfortunately if you are white get La Bamba’s phone number and call in your order. I say that because if they see you are a gringo they let you wait, and wait, and wait while mexican customers walk up order huge orders i mean ive seen guys order 7 plus plates of food pay and get their to go orders in 10 min. Unreal I thought it was an accident until i talked to other customers who say its common practice. I say no. I have spent thousands of dollars at La Bamba but i refuse to be discriminated against because of my skin color. La Bamba your food rules but your disrespect screams your ignorance. Im never comming back good luck i know you all make mucho dinero but you lost me im out…

My go to food truck spot. It might not be the most welcoming as it’s parked in a repair shop lot on hwy 12 but trust me the food is great. They have many great items on the menu and a good selection of meats and here’s the best part both I and my husband have NEVER gotten sick after eating here. So next time you need a quick burrito at 9pm try this spot

Great burrito! Totally worth the 30 minute wait… that’s right… a 30 minute wait at a taco truck.

Basically the best chicharron gorditas ever! I come here very often and it is always packed with people. Another one of my favorites are their tacos and enchiladas! The only downside to this place is that sometimes they’re not there or they get there late. It’s a bummer for me when I drive all the way from Petaluma. It’s always worth the 20 min drive though!

The carne asada burrito is the absolute bomb! I love this place! I work at Sonoma Valley Hospital and every night shift Emergency Department employee loves this place as well. The burrito is huge and has much more meat than any other taqueria I’ve been to. Worth a visit.

So La Bamba is pretty good for what it is. My coworkers and I stop by here probably more often than we’d like to admit and I’m definitely not a taco truck kinda person but this place is really good! We can usually get food for everyone at a decent price. The service is pretty quick and they’re always really nice and accommodating to our ridiculously large orders. I wish they had more veggie options but it’s a taco truck and beggers can’t be choosers, right? I’ve only ever ordered the veggie tacos but they’re probably some of the best ones I’ve had in this area. Anyway, if you find yourself near La Bamba give it a shot, you won’t regret it.

Everyone has good, bad and down right ugly days. That’s why I go out of my way to party a visit to the best damn taco truck ever conceived by man. This taco truck is located on highway 12. You walk up to a picnic table staged in front of the truck where they serve horchata from the tap, and ice cold coke made with real cane sugar. Things to try… 1.) Gorditas chichurrons Crispy golden brown pork fat, sandwiched between two tortillas and suspended in gooey melty cheese and mild salsa. The flavor is unlike anything you can imagine despite it’s simplicity. 2.) Lengua taco’s Taco’s plural, because you can’t have just one. Lengua is the slow cooked cow tongue. It has a high fat content with a ton of beefy, gamey flavor. A squeeze of lime with the crunch of radish brings the dish full circle. Burritos are good, as are the tortas. The limosina is big enough for a linebacker, or just two people. Dont take my word for it just because I cook. Go, go, go!!!

Ok. I suck in a lot of ways. I am snobby about food. I can’t stand dirty dishes in the sink and I don’t want anyone touching my stuff that is in «order.» I also, would never THINK of going to Boyes Hot Springs and eating from a TACOTRUCK. Never. EVER. Enter Brown Eyes. With knowledge of all the ins-and-outs of Sonoma that I never even KNEW existed, here we suddenly are, in front of a TACOTRUCK. In BOYESHOTSPRINGS. Hand TOPEARLS. So, I said nothing. I waited in line. I picked my placa. I expected not much — not NOTHING, because I trusted B.E.‘s taste, but still. It was a TACOTRUCK. In BOYESHOTSPRINGS. So, we drive to The Boy’s house and I unwrap my foil-lined plate. It smells nice, dare I say great? I dare say great. What they produce out of that truck is pretty damn tasty. I love the carne asada plate with the meat, the beans, the lettuce, sour cream and guacamole and the little packet of corn tortillas that I pretend I will never need, but eat ever last bite of. This truck holds it’s own and according to my Dear, it’s the Best and Only truck worth it’s salt in town. Even though Boyes is technically out of town… but, I digress. Should you have a craving for Mehicano flare, take trip to La Bamba, and have no fear!

Best Taco Truck this side of Sonoma County, hands down. $ 1.25 for amazing tacos with any kind of meat you want… who can beat that? The onions, cilantro and tortillas are always fresh and taste amazing! Sometimes there can be a little bit of a wait but that’s because the word has finally been getting out about what used to be my best kept secret, and the wait only proves that people are flocking here in droves!
