Avoid this place during the lunch rush(11:30−1ish). Food is always pretty good, y’know for being Panda Express and all. They’ve recently hired a few new people so the lines may not go through as quickly as they did before. Overall not a bad place to eat.

Yup still eating here like 3 times a week, yea we are fat slobs. Food is still pretty darn good, service is friendly the workers usually know exactly what we are getting cause I get Beijing beef every time lol. New employees are nice, the younger white man with glasses is very nice and friendly and we’ll always love the Asian guy who works there :)

The store was not busy when I arrived with my 3 year old daughter and it was before the dinner rush and when I ordered my family feast to carry out, there was no Teriyaki Chicken and none on the grill. I was told it would take 10 min by the cashier to prepare it but it took the cook 10 min to put it on the grill and then 15 min to get it out to the buffet line. In the time it took to prepare the chicken my whole order(4 entrees and two sides) sat in the containers in a bag getting cold. When someone did come out to give me an update, I asked about my order sitting out getting cold and she told me she would re-do it so that it was fresh. She never did it … To make matters worse, when I placed my order I told the server that I wanted 2 containers of the Teriyaki sauce. But when I got home to my hungry upset family there was zero containers of sauce and all the food was cold and had to be re-heated. To add insult to injury, this day was my 12th wedding anniversary and we had to cancel our plans because my wife was sick and all I wanted to do was feed my family as easily as possible so that is why I went to this location. You helped me do neither and in fact when I got home and saw that even after all the broken promises by the staff and waiting for 25 min for chicken, I saw that they all forgot the sauce for the chicken I had to wait for and the food was cold. This was a horrible customer experience !!!

Eh, it’s quick fast food Chinese. It’s pretty decent if you come when the food is first in the warming pans, it can look pretty dubious if it’s been hanging out there a while. It’s nice that you can see them putting all the parts together, sometimes there’s minor mistakes so you might want to watch(Yes, I wanted the sauce on the side. Pot sticker sauce, not soy sauce, please. Steamed rice not fried, etc.) Also, all of the sauce packets are behind the counter, so be sure to ask for them at checkout if you wanted any.

Their sign says they close at 9:30pm so I was very disappointed when I drove up at 9:20pm and the doors were locked and lights were off.

Love chinese food and this place is good although they ALWAYS mix up my order when it’s takeout and it annoys me so much. They rush things too much and never get it done right. Sometimes they will run out of stuff so we have to wait which is fine. But there’s always one employee that will take the unfinished orders and charge us anyway which confuses us. They need to calm down and watch what they’re doing.

Watch the servers or the cheapskates will fill the take out boxes only half-full.

One star is for this experience only, as I’ve found the food here to be better than any other Panda Express I’ve been to. They have posted their hours as opening at 10:30. So, I had agreed to pick up an early lunch. By 10:40, the place was not only still closed, but there was no sign of life inside. No food in the steam tables, no people, no lights! I see from a previous review that other customers have had the experience of the place closing before the posted closing time, too. New management might be in order here.

Terrible service and quality of products. They don’t make fresh food when they have an half hour until closing. Your quality should be the same until you close. They refused to make great food, so we left. I will tell all my friends and family to not go to the Capitola location. Very disappointed!!! Never will return to this location.

First of all… Horrible costumer service. They never had their food ready when I go here. That’s why iv only gone twice. The lady’s in the front are so disrespectful. Literally rolled her eyes at an elder lady because she didn’t understand what the worker was saying. Both times I went I ended up waiting twice as long because like I said they never have food ready. If your ready to wait 30 minutes in line and waiting another 20 for them to actually finish the food you want go here. It’s either that or choose food you don’t want just so you can get out of their. If your in a hurry don’t go here. If you want food you actually want to eat. Don’t go here. And if you don’t want to wait longer then 20, 30 minutes then stay away.

I wish I could give no stars since I didn’t even get a change to taste their food. Thanks for closing at 9:45PM instead of your supposed 10PM. Although your chow mein is always burnt, I thought you could satisfy the craving, well, off to Safeway. But seriously, check your closing crew Panda.

This Panda Express was very welcoming, efficient and delicious. The food was hot and the service was spectacular. Thank you again.

Bad service, line moves slow no matter when you go, food Is always mostly fried breading and no meat and often burned to a rock hard texture. Like all Panda Express, the portions are small.

Let me just say, if your 20 – 30 years of age and working at a place as easy as Panda Express, learn and take pride in your career. If you screw up, expect me to be that customer correcting you. I’ve always loved Panda Expresses, but this specific location needs to reevaluate both their customer service and management. I bought about $ 30 worth of food, including veggie spring rolls. The customer service to begin with was lousy but I let it go. I had about 4 items worth of to go things that they didn’t bother putting napkins or to go utensils in(which every other panda I’ve been to does consistently). Walked outside and checked again my order to realize they didn’t give me the sweet and sour sauce I asked for. I asked, and a lady who rolled her eyes at me didn’t apologize nor take me as first priority– instead rolled her eyes like I was slowing her line down, for her mistake. She gave me sweet and sour sauce in a sauce compartment with no lid. Really? I asked if she had a lid and she literally just said«nope». I then verbalized that if someone’s buying egg rolls and sauce that you can’t put a lid on it you learn how to problem solve but getting a Togo drink cup or something. Like at least tell me you don’t have it without letting me leave. She huffed and puffed her way through finally problem solving as i asked. Extremely unprofessional. She laughed in my face. Screw Panda Express. Never coming back.

We got takeout from this Panda Express tonight and found they’re using styrofoam containers, which is illegal in Santa Cruz county for environmental reasons. We would not have bought the food if we’d realized before they handed the containers to us that they were putting it in to styrofoam. Please comply with our county’s laws and stop using styrofoam, Panda Express…

Your typical Panda experience. I have been going here for a while and when you don’t want Round Table or something else in that area, this is a good fast food choice. I usually get the Honey Shrimp and chow mein(typical). The folks who work here are always friendly and parking is never an issue.

I am struggling between 2 and 3 stars… The food was acceptable, although bordering on tepid instead of hot, and the portions were indeed generous. The staff, however, could not and would not say they did not have plain tea(usually a treat for this coffee drinker). After being directed to a fruit drink flavored with, supposedly, black tea, the staff, literally scampered when I requested plain tea. After putting words to sceen, two stars seem appropriate.
