Where to start. Waitress was a complete moron. Totally ignored. Food was ok not the greatest.

The tapas menu is to die for. We chose Tilapia, calamari and the salmon plate. Ordering those 3 small plates was perfect for the 2 of us. The ambiance was perfect. We didn’t have to wait for a seat. We were served immediately. We started with 2 margaritas, Rojo and a pomegranate margarita. I can’t wait to come back!

The décor and environment is very authentic Mexican, which is very nice. Kinda your hole in the wall spot. The waitstaff is SUPER friendly. The food was okay. I understand that it needs to be universal for everyone, but I enjoy my Mexican food with just a little more kick in it. But overall the service is amazing and friendly, the prices are good, the food is okay. Oh! But the drinks are great and generous. 4stars, would recommend

AVOID this place. Most of the waitstaff is super rude. There is one thin blond woman that is really nice and super professional, all of the others need attitude adjustments. The food is mediocre and terribly overpriced. $ 12.95 for two cheese enchiladas? Really? At one time this place served really great food and awesome sauces, but not any longer. Forget it. Terrible, terrible!

The food is really good! The Enchilada’s are amazing. The Margaritas are huge and tasty! Our waitress Jenny is not only adorable but her service was a 5 star+! She is friendly, fast and sweet! She knows her menu well and makes great suggestions! She has an incredibly warm smile and was attentive to the requests of the table. She suggested the Mexican chocolate cheesecake and it was incredible! Possibly one of the best have ever had! This place is wonderful. Good food, exceptional service and nice ambience. Keep up the great service Jenny!!! You were the tables favorite part!

Presentation doesn’t make the taste. I had the Durango enchiladas. I give it a 8 out of 10 on dish presentation, a good picture for Facebook. Taste wise only 5. Not my favorite. I didn’t get the Mexican taste.

My husband and I just had the best calamari steaks we’ve ever had. You could cut them with a fork and the sauce was amazing! Everything we’ve ever eaten here has been amazing. Love the Mole too.

Waited on getting water and drinks. Stale tortilla chips. Crab burrito special looked pretty but it tasted like a crab crêpe with bland sauces and some sort of quince(?) jelly on top it. I think there may have been some seafood in there because I tasted a very occasional tiny shrimp. Prices are excessive.

The only reason its not one star is that I’m giving a little credit for the fact that they were a little bit on the busier side. My better half and I were very disappointed with both the food and service. We were left to snack on stale chips for the first 10 minutes before I could get the attention of someone to at least bring us a glass of water. When the waitress presented my better half with her order, the waitress explained that they had messed up on her order, but that if it was horrible, they’d fix it. Who presents a messed up order in the first place??? Well it was horrible and their attempt at fixing it didn’t do the trick. Mine wasn’t exactly worth the effort to eat it. We opted to quietly pay the check, cut our losses, and go. We went on to satisfy our appetite elsewhere. This was definitely a failed experiment.

Margaritas are amazing. Salsa had great flavor. Had the pablano rellenostarter. Really good.(Goat cheese, chorizo and onion). Husband had the Chipotle enchiladas. I had taco and enchilada. Only place on the planet I can think of I don’t have a problem paying so much for Mexican… it’s really that good.(Did I mention the amazing margaritas?)

Great service, full bar and warm ambiance. The margaritas on ice served in hand blown glasses are outstanding. I love that the owner grows some of the chilies that are used. Tortilla Flats has mole week. They have up to 12+ different regional moles of Mexico that are very uniquely crafted. There are also other weeks with different themes throughout the year so it really mixes it up. Some of my favorites are the chips and salsa, green chile enchiladas with chicken and house garden salad with super fresh greens and vegetables. All the salad dressings are fresh and unique. It’s not your regular Mexican food. If you want clean, defined flavors, This is it!

Average food that’s way over-priced. From the reviews, I was expecting much better. It’s just not.

Went there last night for dinner, Black Friday. This place was hoppin’ but after 10 short minutes we had a table. We got a margarita on the rocks, which was delicious. I ordered the chicken flautas a la cart — they were bland but good. My husband got the enchilada and taco combo which he loved. The waitress was fantastic, pleasant, knowledgeable with our questions, and running from table to table; all the while still checking on us. Parking was a little challenging if you want to park on the street, but a nice parking lot behind the restaurant. Decent prices.

Hands down the best margaritas around. Super yummy food and very good service. Go with the specials and you will be happy. If you get a chance and they have blood orange margaritas, go for it.
I agree with Fernando — the male host is awful — our family used to eat here regularly bit after two run ins with him we won’t come back. He is rude, condescending and downright combative. Get rid of him and we’ll come back!

Had a great time starting here on Cinco De Mayo! Margaritas by the pitcher, shots of tequila, good food and great company. Owner sat next to us and talked with us, he is a very nice man. Will come back again soon!

The management at this place has the worst customer service. Rude and a bit condescending. I couldnt tell you what the food is like because the gentleman would not seat us. It also seems that he took pleasure in saying that the manager was not in. Whoever trained the host did an awful job. He needs to be retrained. I do not plan to ever go back because of the customer service.

Went to this place for a family dinner with intentions of getting some good authentic Mexican food. The place is a complete disappointment. We did find the unprofessional waitresses to be not so friendly. The food is mediocre at best. Once the order was placed, the food came out very fast, almost too fast to the point where it was sitting around waiting to go out. Salsa for the chips is served in tiny glasses. Chips served at room temperature. Go elsewhere.
