Not too impressed here. Namely for the minuscule protein portions found on the salads. One of the staff members said to put protien, it would only be 2 oz. Really? Such a small amount it’s almost insulting. The chicken didn’t even taste good either. Salad restaurants such as sweetgreen in DC/Boston/NYC and Verde in Charleston offer much better quality and execution. Don’t think I’ll come back.

Good quality food but the corporate decision makers must be trying to make customers go away. First they remove the«Caribbean Chicken» salad then phase out the dressing altogether so I can’t «create my own. I switched to the TBA Panini but swapped out the mustard for a 3 cheese spread because mustard in any quantity is gross. Now they refuse to swap the spread. They’ll keep it off but won’t substitute. I said«put it on the side, I’ll pay extra». The staff is very polite but say«it’s corporate policy», we can’t, sorry. I’d like to see if that policy maker has the tomatoes to step out from behind the corporate curtain and tell me to my face why his delicate ego’d chef can’t handle me upgrading her sauce selection!

I usually like zupas but beware of this one. I bought a salad which should have come out to under $ 10. The purchase was $ 17 and I have reason to believe someone added their own tip. I don’t tolerate dishonesty.

What is this, an ice cream parlor? I am paying for a CUP of soup. Not for one scoop, leaving my cup half full. For $ 4.39 that is ridiculous.

Great food, great service, charged me the wrong price. I think it was a new trainee but still…

Very nice and clean! The staff was very friendly and they were very efficient taking orders. They offer a Try 2 Combo(soup, salad, or sandwich) for $ 8.79, so I tried the California Cobb Salad and Chicken Tortilla Soup. They also provided a piece of sour dough bread and a chocolate dipped Oreo cookie with your meal. I skipped the bread but had to eat the cookie. Both entrees not only tasted delicious, but they were also pleasing to the eye. Your meal actually looked like the pictures posted on the menu, which is unusual for fast food dining. The only thing that disappointed me about the visit was the fact that they charged me $.69 for mixing in cheddar cheese to my soup, which they did not tell me it would be extra when they asked me if I wanted it. Other than that, it was good and fast. I’ll be back!

I. Absolutely. Love. Zupas!!! So far, everything I’ve had has been amazing! Whether it was a sandwich, grilled panini, salad, and OMGTHESOUPS!!! ALLTHESOUPSAREFANTASTIC! My favorite is the lobster bisque; creamy, rich, with big chunks of lobster, and it just hits the spot! The chicken enchilada is also a good choice if you like heartier soups. I usually get a combo that comes with a whole sandwich(turkey bacon avocado is my go-to), a bowl of soup, a piece of bread(dip this baby in the soup, it is sheer heaven in your mouth!), and a chocolate-dipped strawberry — all for less than $ 10! The turkey bacon avocado panini is grilled to crispy perfection with just the right amount of goods on the inside! I’ve tried the BBQ Pulled Pork, Fresh Herb Chicken, Cuban Grilled Pork, and Honey Bacon Club, which were all great! I’ve also tried two of their salads(Maui Tropical Chicken and Asian Citrus Chicken), which are all hand-tossed right in front of you so the lettuce is always crisp and fresh! I honestly haven’t disliked a single thing from here! There was once a strawberry shortage so we got chocolate-dipped Oreos instead. While I was initially a little disappointed, all ill-feelings dissipated because even the Oreo was amazing! You really can’t go wrong with Zupas!

As far as order-at-the-counter and get-served-like-Subway places go, Zupas is really spectacular. Very fresh, light, but decent portions. Would go back for a quick bite.

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! Got the harvest strawberry chicken salad(dressing was a little sweet but a very good strawberry vinaigrette) and the New England clam chowder(one of the best I’ve ever had). Very friendly staff and you even get a chocolate covered strawberry as a treat! Love when I find great restaurants on my business travels.

solid spot for soups, sandwiches, and probably salads but I haven’t tried a salad yet. Think Panera but better and less expensive. I got the crab sandy without bacon and it was PHENOM. Perfectly toasted for crunch without the cut your mouth in a thousand places effect. The crab salad was REALCRAB and dressed lightly and to perfection. The vegetable chowder soup was also the bomb. I loved that they have a creamy alternative to clam chowder because sometimes a girl just wants her veggies. The extra chocolate covered strawberry was the… Strawberry on top ;) I also got my order to go and everything stayed warm and in-place on my drive home. Will definitely be frequenting this place.

I work just across the street, and come here on a semi-frequent basis. I usually get the Pesto Chicken sandwich and Chicken Chop salad, and have always been satisfied with that combo. It costs about $ 9.50 including tax, which might be sliiiiiiiiiightly overpriced but nothing egregious. As previous comments have mentioned, the staff there does tend to be overly courteous. It’s better than the opposite but I mean, they all ended every single sentence with«sir.» «What kind of sauce would you like, sir?» «Any soup for you, sir?» «Please stop mocking us, sir.» «That’s not very mature, sir.» But yeah, 4 stars, pretty good food. I’ll be back, sir.

PSA: Don’t buy a gift card here! They charge you a monthly fee if it’s not used within 12 months until there is a zero balance. So, they have my money & I have nothing. Nice«gift» if you like highway robbery!

Super friendly! I was greeted by a line of 10 employees waiting to help me and answer any questions. I heard«thank you for coming in» 8 times. I started counting after the third person. I must admit though 8 was a little excessive. It started to feel like each employee is told if they don’t thank a customer for coming at least fifty five thousand times then there will be extreme consequences. The food is delicious as always. I noticed that they displayed the Best of State awards for the last several years on their trays. I didn’t realise they had so many awards. I love how they give you a chocolate covered strawberry with your meal. Strawberries are the best.

They gave me clam chowder instead of vegetable chowder. Oops. The grilled cheese panini with pesto sauce was delicious. Love their free bread and chocolate dipped strawberries.

This is a great place to get soup and salad. All the ingredients are fresh and the sandwiches are made right before your eyes. Their desserts are always amazing and it’s a great meal. It’s a little pricey though, you’ll be spending about $ 10 for a soup and sandwich. But the food is good so you won’t be disappointed. If you really wanted to, you could make 2 meals out of your sandwich

I love the soups and sandwiches but seriously they need to get their line figured out. Every time I come I’m asked 100 times what I’m getting and what I have. and because they have to ask so many times my food is cold by the time I pay. Every time! Nothing like getting in like and looking at their salads on the pictures and for them to be skimpy on everything that goes in it. Seriously?!!

Zupas you’re one of my faves for soup and salad. Thanks for being pretty much in every city in the Salt Lake valley. Please, never get rid of the Wisconsin Cauliflower or the Wild Mushroom Bisque. These two soups alone are the reason for my continued visits. I know it’s kind of weird that I like them mixed together, but I simply cannot settle with just one flavor.

I am not usually a big soup or sandwich person, but I really like this place. I have been multiple times and have always had a great experience. There is usually an employee by the line that is there to offer help and or suggestions. Your food is made quickly and in front of you. Their soup is the best, my favorite is the garden chowder. It is creamy, hearty, and full of vegetables. I have also had the lobster bisque which is also really good. The chicken enchilada is good, but I feel a little skimpy on the chicken. They have a bunch of different sandwiches and paninis to choose from, the crab panini is my favorite. Their salads are fresh and a bunch of different options, the best is the berry salad! The prices are very reasonable and you can order items individually or they have meal deals where you get a small bowl of soup and a half salad or a sandwich. They also give you a big slice of delicious french bread and a chocolate dipped strawberry with every meal. They have unlimited saltines and oyster crackers for your soup as well. I also really like their caramel crème brûlée even though it is nothing like real cream brulee, but it is still delicious.

Decent alternative to a lot of other sandwich shops. They have great options for soup, salads, and sandwiches. The only downside is that they are so by the book. Everything is measured out by the ounce, cup etc. The honey bacon club, calm chowder and BBQ chicken salad are great options when eating there. Also used them for a large catering order and they are FANTASTIC for that. The order was to feed over 200 people and they delivered everything promptly, set it up and brought plenty of utensils, plates, napkins and all other items needed. Zupas offers pre-packed box lunches or buffet style which can help meet the needs of small or large groups. They even called afterwards to see if everything with the event went okay. Would definitely use them again for catering!

Café Zupas is high end fast food. The food is good, consistently. It’s a great place to get soups, salads and sandwiches. The service is also good. Maybe a little too good. And no, I’m not nit picking. It’s over the top service, it’s really loud. It borders on the verge of awkward and creepy. The food is good. I’ll be back.
