Went on a Wednesday night with a group of five. I had the 18 ounce ribeye and it was excellent. Everyone was happy with their food, the atmosphere was relaxing and our server was friendly and attentive. We all agreed it was worth a return trip.

I’ve been to this location a few times. Service is always great. For all the picky eaters, do you see the bread that looks like cardboard on your table? Eat it! It’s delicious! I’m a very picky eater and I had never tried the brown bread before, until I ate it here and I like it a lot now. The first time I came the mashed potatoes were very creamy and buttery, however I’m not really sure what happened lately. I think they might have changed their recipe. The mashed potatoes are definitely not as good as before, they are tough and flavorless like those that come in a mix you buy at the supermarket. However, the steaks are delicious and at a reasonable price. I am not a fan of steak sauce, so I appreciate it when the steak is done just how I ask. The steak usually has a very nice, robust flavor. I will be coming back soon.

We called around a table and were told it would be about and hour and a half wait. We put our names on the list and showed up 45 minutes later. When arriving we were told we had about 30 – 45 minutes more. It ended up being 1 hr 45 minutes and still no table. They kept telling us a table is being cleared now but another half hour would go by. We ended up leaving and getting a good meal across the street at the habit. Don’t lie to customers just to keep them there. No food is worth that service. The other 3 couples and us definitely will not be back.

We went Sunday at 6 pm for dinner here and did not leave until about 8:30. There was hardly anyone there and we had been seated immediately which was great considering we had a party of 14! However, when we got relaxed and ordered our food, we waited an hour and a half to get our dinner. On top of that most were un-pleased with the meal. My mothers steak came out very uncooked, sending it back she had to wait an extra 10 minutes. Most of my family ordered 10 ounce steaks and when they came out some looked to be only 6 – 8 ounces. The food was not bad but not fantastic either for what we were paying. But The time we had to wait and the wrong things coming out, it was more of a stressful night rather than a fun family night out. Sadly, I would not recommend this.

We went there yesterday. The food was good. We used a gift card to pay for our meal, and left a cash tip for our waiter. The gift card had about $ 13 left on it when we left. Tonight we went to Olive Garden and when we went to use the remainder of the gift card we were told it had a $ 0.00 balance. We called the gift card servicer and they told us the entire $ 50 on the gift card was used at LongHorn. So looks like our waiter felt his service was better than the cash tip we left and took the remainder of the gift card for himself. Classy.

We went here a little after 7 on new years eve, and there was a 55+ minute wait for our party of two. After ten minutes, they still had not seated anybody, despite three empty-but-unbussed tables right next to each other near the entrance. That included one table that had been vacant since we arrived, and did not include any tables over in the rest of the restaurant past the host stand… just the tables that we could easily see. Meanwhile, there were 4 hosts/hostesses at the host stand doing nothing but smelling each others perfume(seriously). When other customers came to ask about the empty tables, the hostess casually said that they’d be bussed. Well, after a total of 15 – 20 minutes waiting, we left and are now headed to the Midvale location(really craving Longhorn tonight!).

A Berf-Day on a Thursday… That’s what prompted a visit to this Local Steak House I had yet to divulge and a perfect day to go as light and fluffy snow flakes bounced around the shimmering street lights. What’s this… No waiting at all? We were seated promptly by friendly staff with just enough buzz to give some semi low key atmsophere from the the other patrons. Our waiter was knowledgeable and seemed genuinely friendly without all the«Force» fed menu suggestions filled with«Oohs» & «Ahhs» of food they would never eat themselves. The menu was concise and clear and not overabundant with 36 types of the same food just spelled different with their peas. The layout was nice and descriptions would have even a Steak Novice ordering like a pro with the well laid out silhouettes of Steak choices/cuts, as well as the differences in doneness. For me, steak is a relatively easy choice… Porterhouse — Medium Rare. This is what sets an average run of the mill Steak joint apart from others. If it’s not on the menu… you’re just eating burger. The bread was a nice, warm wheat that was definitely fresh. The Side Salad(though reminiscent of a bag mix) tasted fresh and had good color and wasn’t swimming in a sea of dressing to had the Garden blunders. When the Porterhouse arrived, it was perfectly cooked to that slightly bloody-pink perfection that a good Medium Rare brings. The seasoning and grill marks were perfect; if you you used Steak sauce on this devine piece, you would probably go to hell. The loaded baked potato(though I usually just get Salt and Pepper and a little butter), was delicious and not overly done and wilting away it’s fluffy insides. Dessert…not normally, but the waiter’s enthusiasm and good use of the Encyclopedia Britannica made the Banana Cream Pie a «No Brainer,» though the Chocolate Cherry Lava Cake definitely would have fattened me up as well! The bill… for 2.5 people with a Sirloin, a Porterhouse and a Kid’s Steak meal with Dessert… A very reasonable $ 60. I consider this. money well spent and it quickly eliminated places like«Lonestar» from my lists.

We order from Long Horn all the time! Superior food and some great prime rib. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a fancy dinner at a decent price. I have always gotten great service ever time I go in.

Tried this place out on date night with husband. Went 9PM on a Saturday night. Was seated within 5 minutes. Hostess who sat us was super friendly and made us feel welcome. First thing my husband and I noticed when sat was the amount of un bussed tables around us. 6 total that stayed that way for the 10 minutes it took a server to greet us. We were actually getting ready to leave. Our server was very nice, asked how long we had waited and offered us a free desert. My husband ordered the full rack of ribs and they were good. Very tender and fell off the bone. Good flavored BBQ sauce. I ordered the hickory salt crusted NY Steak with an addition of onions and mushrooms. They must pre make the onions and mushrooms because they did not taste fresh and they were room temp. Not good. The steak was extremely salty but considering it was a salt crusted steak(I should have read menu better) that one was on me. Although I’m a salt lover and even that was way to salty to eat. Meat was okay, tough and had a lot of chew to it. I ate a ¼ of it and gave up but did take home for my pup. We just moved to the area from LA area and was hoping to find a good steak place. We shall keep looking. This is not a place I would return.

Great Steakhouse. We arrived with a group of 8 on a Friday Night. We had reservations but it still took a bit to get seated(not surprising for a Friday night). Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and checked on us a reasonable amount of times during the dinner. Bread: First course was a round of bread and butter. The bread had a nice crisp exterior and a nice warm and soft interior. The flavors were good and the butter was nice and soft, melting right into the bread as you spread it. This is not a highly seasoned bread like Olive Gardens Garlic breadsticks, but was a very good home made tasting bread with great textures and great flavors. Horderves: We got an order of their Wild West Shrimp, and Sweet Chili Calamari. Both were good but not exceptional. If you feel like ordering an horderve don’t hesitate to order one, but also don’t feel like it’s required to complete your meal. Salad: There were a couple of different options for the salad, I went with a standard garden salad with Ranch. The salad was served in individual bowls with reasonable portions, and was all again really solid, but nothing to really make it stand out. Lettuce was fresh and the ranch was just as you would expect it with just enough to get the job done. Main Course: I ordered the«Outlaw» Ribeye, this is a bone in ribeye. The steak was exceptional, it might not be quite as good a quality as Ruths Chris, but it couldn’t have been far from it. The quality of the steak was clearly superior to what I can get and cook at home. The steak is cooked with pretty natural flavors, so you shouldn’t expect a lot of extra flavor from seasonings or spices. The steak its self was extremely tender(like I said on par with Ruths Chris, but about half the cost). I got a perfectly Medium steak just as I ordered with a very good natural flavor to it. Overall I would say this is probably the best steakhouse for the money that I have found so far. Ruths Chris steak might be slightly better quality steak, but most people probably wouldn’t notice the difference in quality, but you definitely notice the difference in cost. The side dishes here were far superior to what I got at Ruths Chris as well. The mashed potatoes were a very nice smooth texture, with an equally smooth flavor with a hint of butter and herbs on top. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a steakhouse. I think this will be my new go-to steakhouse from now on. The prices are on par with what you would expect from Olive Garden($ 15-$ 30 per person), the service was great, and as far as I could tell nothing we ordered was bad. Absolutely everything was at least good, with several items being exceptional. And while we didn’t try any deserts tonight, I will be interesting in trying out some deserts at my next visit.

The bread and butter is great! I had a 2nd serving for dessert! I was already full but couldn’t resist. The butter is so incredibly easy to spread and it tastes wonderful! The strawberry lemonade was average. I would have liked a little less sour. My salad was nothing special so I didn’t waste the room in my stomach eating it. There were 2 large lettuce cores in the salad, the cucumbers were chopped which I appreciated, there was so little cheese they might as well no have put any on it, and the ranch dressing was delicious! I later found out they make their own ranch dressing in house. For my entrée I ordered Flo’s Filet with sautéed mushrooms and mac&cheese. I asked for medium but received medium rare. The steak was very tender. I tasted more pepper than steak. The sautéed mushrooms were not edible. The mac&cheese looked the least appealing but had the best flavor, it might have been the bacon. Overall I’m not impressed. The food is pricey, $ 20 for a 6 oz steak. After adding in the cost of the drink and tip it cost me $ 30 for a meal I didn’t eat all of. The free bread and butter were the best part of this meal. If I’m going to a chain steakhouse I will go to Texas Roadhouse. Service is important to me and since this service was good I am giving it 2 stars. Without the service I would give 0.
