The ice cream taste so good and so many choices of flavors. My favorite is coffee flavor. The place is nice, clean and so spacious.

The icecream was super thick and delicious but not too milky which is how I like it. Def coming back

My review is really more about the people behind the counter rather than the Italian ices. Their Italian ice is one of the best in the NY/NJ area. I consider it to be along side Ralph’s and Lemon Ice King of Corona. I really want to love this place because it’s been a while since we’ve had a decent Italian ice shop in the area, but the owner is one of the unfriendliest people I’ve ever encountered which is why I’m giving it only 2 stars. If not for the delicious Italian ice and friendly teenage wait staff who took our order, I would have given it 1 star. It really began about a year ago when they first they first opened in South Plainfield. The teenage girl who took our order was yelled at by the owner for putting two scoops of Italian ice in a regular size cup instead of one scoop. Granted that they just opened a week before and are still ironing the kinks out; instead of just letting the customer have the already made order, the owner reprimands the teenage girl and throws the order in the trash. I didn’t think that made any sense and was a total waste, but hey, I’m not the owner. We decided to give it another try a few months later so see if things have gotten better. By this time, everyone was in agreement that there are 2 scoops in a regular size cup(which is what should have been given to us before). Behind the counter was also the owner which during our whole visit never greeted us or smiled at any of the other patrons. It just seem odd to me that if you are the owner, shouldn’t you at least try to greet and welcome your customers instead of acting so cold so they will continue to come back and support your business? Fast forward to a year later, we vowed to never return, but my daughter insisted that we stop by for some dessert. Again, the teenage staff was very friendly and greeted us right away — the owner behind the counter was indifferent. Would it kill you to smile a little and acknowledge your customers? I even made eye contact with this guy as he passed by me, but not a word from him. As we were leaving, again only the teenage staff said bye to us and mind you the owner was standing next to her the whole time. I just don’t get it. Maybe that’s just his nature; either way I’m sure I’m not the only one who finds him uncouth. Needless to say we won’t be going back there ever. I rather pay for store bought Italian ice than give you more of my business.
