Hubbard Park Pizza

Meatball grinder was excellent, bread was a great choice. I hate when the bread is too crispy and some restaurants over bake it! this bread was perfect. Got a side of red sauce for adding extra and dipping – their sauce is great! Not too sweet, has a nice homemade flavor. Will def order again when I’m in the area!

I live right next to this place. Very fast delivery. Amazing crusty pizza. I sometimes think it’s too greasy. Other thing it has not so much chairs.

2.5 stars would be most appropriate.
This is primarily a takeout pizzaria as there are only a couple of chairs and 2 small tables. I was in the immediate area and decided to stop in for a slice of pizza. There were a couple of pizzas available so I selected a slice of Buffalo chicken. The thin crust was crunchy and the overall flavor was decent, but it was on the greasy side so be prepared and take a few extra napkins. In the future I will drive the extra mile or two into Meriden for wood fired pizza.

Not bad. Every so often I order a grinder from here and have it delivered to work. Tasty, reasonably priced and delivery time is relatively decent. Don’t think I could ask for much more.
Their calzones are also very good too!

Just had a sausage, pepper and onion pizza delivered. Very fast delivery actually 10 min early than they estimated. Nice amount of sausage. Pretty nice flavor I personally like a little more sauce. Would have been 5 stars if it had been cooked a couple more min, outer crust was crunchy… toward center really could have used couple more min. Still would recommend especially for delivery.

I make it a point to drive all the way across town for this pizza. I can’t say too much except its a consistent and tasty pizza. Thin crust, the right amount of extra oil, to help soften the crust, consistently cooked and the staff is always friendly.
If I had to complain about something, the soda cooler is often understocked, but there is a convenience store right across the street and packie right next door.

I had a cheeseless pizza sprinkled with paremesan cheese delivered. The other half had cheese on it for my boyfriend. They gave me an extra container of paremesan cheese in case I wanted it. There was way too much sauce on my side, which made the pizza extremely soft, almost to the point of soggy. Their was no flavor to the sauce, so I only got flavor from the toppings. I asked for bacon, mushrooms, and fresh tomato. One piece of tomato on each slice, which was disappointing. This is becoming a pattern with pizza. The bacon was real bacon, not bacon bits, which was a good thing. However, they crumbled the bacon like bacon bits. I didn’t want this. I like small strips of bacon on my pizza. Most of the flavor was from the bacon. There was hardly any mushrooms on my pizza. The bacon was cooked well. It was crispy, but not overcooked. The end crust wasn’t bad. It wasn’t too crispy or burnt. I tasted my boyfriend’s side of the pizza, which had mozz. cheese and a few toppings. His side did not have as much sauce, but it lacked flavor and there wasn’t a lot of cheese. I’m not eating this pizza again.
