Not happy. We had got chicken noodle bowel and there was no chicken in it. The girl at counter said 3oz of chicken is in there somewhere. Noodles were terrible got a refund and won’t be back.

Two different visits I did not get what I ordered. Second time I requested a refund. Got a hassle from management for it. Will not return.

Quick lunch when ur in the mood for rice and noodles. Love the Osaka sauce. Small location can’t fit a whole bunch of people but it’s nice and has parking. Hit and miss on service.

I love noodle express! They have the best Osaka and teriyaki flavors. Also, they have the best noodles. I always get a chicken teriyaki bowl half rice half noodles and a side of Osaka to mix in. Delicious! I docked a star because I have noticed there chicken has degraded in quality. It is a little chewy and dry. And it never used to be like that. Also, sometimes the service is spotty. But all in all if you are craving Asian and noodles this is the place!

We ordered take out tonight and it was awful. My boyfriend got potsticker soup and the noodles were extremely overcooked and gross, the shrimp noodle bowls my kid and I got were undercooked and cold! Waste of 25 bucks for sure. The cook talked to his friends the whole time while taking his hat off whole cooking with no gloves and his long hair hanging over the grill. Gross!!! Never going back.

Twice I ordered 80 rice 20 veggie, twice they didn’t make it that way. Dissapointing. Grossed me out both times. Used to like, now I’m too dissapointed to try again. Went back for refund got additude. If you don’t get what you ordered shouldn’t you be intitled to a refund? Both times were call in orders, what a hassle to get to where you are going only to realize they messed up. Check your food order beforeyou drive away!

Not bad. Based on their sign that read«Soup… there it is!» I was looking forward to ramen, or maybe some faux phở, so it was with disappointment that I found the only soup to be had was miso. I got the shrimp ginger noodle bowl and potstickers and it was ok. The potstickers were bland and not crisp on one side as they should be, and you only get two or three. Good in a pinch, but being from the SF Bay Area, my standards for asian food are pretty high. I should have known when I saw no asian people inside.

Went there for the first time last night and it was horrible. We ordered teriyaki chicken bowls and it had no flavor and the food seemed like it was under the warmer for too long. I will not go back and wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

I used to really like this place because I love Chicken Osaka from the Mustard Seed, but I think my love affair has ended. I called in my order in advance(chicken osaka – half noodles, half veggies) and when I arrived they had half noodles – half rice. The girl behind the counter realized she made a mistake. I had to wait a few minutes for them to remake it – bummer – totally negated the time saving of calling ahead. And when I got it, wow – those noodles are SALTY! Apparently my step-father rinses them in water before eating, but even without any sauce, they are tongue-burningly salty. Bummer. I would recommend avoiding the noodles unless you are trying to triple your daily intake of sodium. The chicken osaka was good, but unfortunately was overshadowed by messing up my order, and the extreme over-salting.

One of the things I like are consistency. This is the reason why I love this place. The food is cooked the same every time I have ordered food here and made well! The staff are friendly and always willing to make sure you are take. Care of. The food is very affordable and a healthier option than eating some greasy fast food options. Everything is cooked to order and comes out fairly quickly as well. I order the Osaka Beef rice bowl, double the meat which comes with their salad. I love the tanginess the sauce on the beef and how amazing tender the meat is. It is my go to when I can’t make a decision. The salad is kind of like a coleslaw which has been been almost«pickled» and compliments the dish well and balances the other flavors.

Found a rock in my food, restaurant doesn’t care. The food was good until my tooth hit something hard. I had ordered take out so I took a picture of the rock and the receipt and sent it to this location over Facebook. They read the message and 24hrs later, no response. Skip this one and go to Panda Express just down the street. One star!

Don’t go here if you’re looking for gluten free. Although they have a“gluten free“menu, they obviously know nothing about what that truly means. All food is prepared and cooked on the same grill or deep fat fryer. Tons of cross contamination.

So so. Does the trick if you’re hungry and in the area. Not crazy about the rice. Love all of the sauces, but my biggest gripe is probably the amount of meat they give you on a regular portion.

My husband and I started going to noodle express several years ago… we love their chicken Osaka but unfortunately over the last 111⁄2 years we noticed they have reduced their chicken portion in their chicken Osaka in ½…it’s really not worth the price so we’re going to go elsewhere where we feel we’re getting our money’s worth.

This is not a bad place, but there are a few things that I would like to be different. The noodle bowls are full of good stuff, which makes sense from a place called Noodle Express. But if you get a teriyaki bowl, part of your bulk is made up with antiseptic tasting Asian slaw. And a fair amount of rice. Better off to stick with the noodle bowls to get filled up. Chicken, pork, beef, or shrimp, they all taste pretty good. The teriyaki sauce is really good, better than a lot of Asian places in Spokane. The staff are all pretty friendly, even when things get packed. Sometimes the place can be a little dingy, but most times it is pretty clean. I do think the prices are a little high for what you get, but not horrible. I still prefer Panda Express, but every once in a while I get outvoted, mainly due to the teriyaki sauce I think. At any rate, this place is adequate for your noodle needs.

Was charged 9% sales tax when it is supposed to be 8.7%. Guess that is one way for a business to increase profits. The food was was 4 stars. Love the chicken Osaka. Edit: They did fix the tax issue

My favorite fast food in the valley– you get that amazing Mustard Seed sauces for take out prices! I must admit I always get the chicken Osaka, love the coleslaw that comes with. Don’t know what people are taking about portion size wise– seems like a ton of food to me! I do snap up every grain of rice though. Love to meet my hubby for lunch here.

I have fond memories of this place when I worked in the Valley, because during the time I worked in the Valley, there was always snow on the ground. Noodle Express was the way to warm up. I had a colleague who loved to eat as much as I did, and he was a big fan of the osaki and I would often get the shrimp noodle soup add add in some potstickers right to my soup. I could eat there for around $ 10(soup was around $ 6 and potstickers $ 3) and I could make it back to work within the hour, easily. The Valley doesn’t have a ton of great places to eat, and working off of North Argonne made eating even more scarce. The place has the ambiance of an ex-Taco Bell, but the food does what it should and gets you where you need to be. I wouldn’t say it is particularly«Asian» but it is good for basic noodle bowls that you can dress up how you like.

Here’s why I appreciate Noodle Express: 1) I shop at Safeway sometimes. There is this very cute checkout girl who has a piercing on her face(yum!). But she has to wear a band-aid over it. I also shop at Hastings. There are several employees there who have piercings that they have to cover with a band-aid. Really??? What world do we live in where seeing a band-aid on someone’s skin is less offensive than seeing a sterile piercing? I love that the employees at Noodle Express are allowed to show off their tattoos and piercings without shame or cover-up. So kudos to the progressive management on that! 2) It’s delicious. 3) See number two. Holy crap, it’s good. Their Osaka sauce is amazing. And the sweet thai is super yummy as well. I’m a vegetarian and recently found out that they cook their white rice in chicken broth. So if you are not an omnivore, make sure to ask for the whole grain rice. It’s chicken-free. Also, they have the best chopsticks in town. It’s a clean break every time. Nothing worse than snapping cheap chopsticks in two only to have the top of one stick to the other. You know what I’m talking about. And you hate it too.
