This place is a Hidden Gem. When you drive up to the restaurant it looks like an old saloon. But what makes this place really special are the waitress. They serve your food with attitude and make the whole experience so much fun. Plus the food is really good and the portions are huge. FYI– these are not poached eggs in the eggs benedict.

This place is awesome. Love the waitress. She takes no shit from anyone. Food is right up there. Big portions and very good. Can’t wait to go back with friends.

Food is great and service was excellent. 1st time here, so our party of 4 tried a different plate off the menu. Corned beef and hash, biscuits and gravy combo, smaller portion eggs and bacon, and country fried steak and eggs. The staff is really friendly and attentive. They make you feel at home. Great atmosphere, people actually talked to each other and conversations between tables! Good laughs and great food!

I have never tried lunch here, but the breakfast has been good every time I visit. My family and I have eaten breakfast at Terry’s three or four times. The omelettes are good, portions are large, prices are reasonable, and the service has always been good, in my experience. There are always several regulars in the place, but even as an «irregular,» the waitress and I had some good banter last time. There is nothing fancy about this place, which is fine by me — sometimes you just want good, filling food without paying an arm and a leg. I think Terry’s delivers.

Great food. Ruben for my husband and a Denver omelet for me! But the waitstaff was the kicker. Very entertaining

Stopped by on a whim, after reading reviews. I have to say… great idea. The food was awesome. Service friedly. Priced were right in the mark. I love the country feel to the place. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been having breakfast at Terry’s for years. My first visit, I arrived late to meet with my husband and his friends. They had already ordered so I quickly glanced at the menu and chose Terry’s Scramble. When it arrived, I had a bite and was amazed at the creamy flavor. Then I looked closer to see a macaroni noodle. Then I realized the scramble not only had all the regular flavors but some mac n cheese added. OMG. I would never have thought that this was a good idea but it is one of my top breakfasts EVER. Don’t come to Terry’s expecting some fancy joint. Seriously, did you see the exterior? the parking lot? It’s just a little locally owned café with some great home cooking.

Overall, pretty good food, huge portions, decent prices, and good service. However, the setting was so dim, dirty, and depressing that it ruined the experience. Went here with my husband after reading some decent reviews on Unilocal, but we were sorely disappointed. The building from the outside looks small, dirty, and rundown. I told my husband, «Maybe it’s better on the inside…» It was worse. When we walked in, it was pretty empty and we stood there awkwardly waiting to be seated when someone from the kitchen told us to grab a seat wherever. The table we sat at has syrup on it, and pieces of napkin sticking to it. The silverware next to my husband had been used – the spoon had been used to stir someone’s coffee and then left on a napkin there. The floor looked like it could use a good vacuuming. And the walls were stained and dirty. There were toys piled on the floor near the back door. Our waitress was friendly and made sure our coffee was refilled. Things got better when the food arrived. My french toast was delicious, I’d say better than Denny’s, and the portion was HUGE. My side of hashbrowns was good, though a bit cold in the middle. The seasoning on the hashbrowns was incredible though! I forget what my husband ordered(some kind of omelette dish) with a side of biscuits and gravy. His main dish tasted slightly better than average, but the gravy was a little bit thick/gloppy. Portions were hearty, and we both got doggy bags for leftovers(something we don’t normally do as we can handle big meals). Seems like this is a place with a few regulars, but I won’t l be going back. Though the food was good and the prices were okay, but we were too grossed out by the setting. Too bad.

Food was good, service was pretty mediocre. 7 other patrons in the restaurant and with two servers, we were ignored from the jump. Watched 2 of the other people get tired of waiting for coffee, so they got up and poured their own. Like I said though, food was good, just nobody but the cook seemed to care that people were there to eat. Meh.

Comically large portions made by large people. Even Kevin«The Human Garbage Disposal» couldn’t clean his plate. After our sketchy Denny’s experience the night before, we decided to try the local diner instead. Always a treat to hear the name on the sign is the person making your food. Thanks Terry!!!

Lunch visit! I went for the traditional cheeseburger and fries. Very tasty burger — charbroiled and juicy without being greasy, on an old fashioned bun. The only complaint would be that I didn’t get the two cheeses on it! Why does this boggle so many eateries? I LIKE my cheese! And for some reason they gave me a herd of pickles! EWWW — they were touching my fries! Sill delicious water and better service than I’ve had before. My dining companion got a HUGE cobb salad and was delighted.

Food is good and reasonably priced. But they definitely need need need a remodel! They always seemed to be busy, so I think they should put some capital back into their business. The carpets need to be ripped out, walls/molding needs to be washed the painted, tables and chairs need to be replaced. The staff is friendly and personable but they have so much more potential!

Went there with another couple on a Sunday morning(before the church rush) and the place was not too crowded. We were able to sit outside in the shack/shade area and it was nice. The service was good and we never felt forgotten outside. The food came out pretty quickly and the portions were pretty large as well. The prime rib and eggs were pretty good, the steak was juicy and tasty. We also had the chicken fried steak which was decent. I would have it again if I visited but wouldn’t go out of my way to come here as I have had better. Eggs, toast and bacon were all run of the mill. The sausage patty looked homemade since the patty was irregular but I didn’t try it, my friend had it. Their sign is pretty funny.

This place was totally rockin’. A few friends and I were driving from our hotel in Spokane on New Year’s Eve day and were STARVING. We happened to pass by Terry’s and decided it looked like the perfect little home style hole-in-the-wall joint that would make a killer breakfast. Needless to say, we weren’t disappointed. The server was super friendly, the atmosphere was casual — you could tell it was a place filled with regulars. Overall, food, prices, service, coffee — everything was top notch. If I happen to be hankering for breakfast in Spokane in the future, I’ll make sure to only go here. I wish there was a place like this down in Moscow. I guarantee it’d be a popular hang-out for the mandatory crowd of old-guy coffee drinkers(and my friends/myself who look forward to being said crowd) and hang-over cure for the college kids(and my want-to-be…oh what am I saying… and myself).

They actually have a six egg omelet here. Yes, a six egg omelet. But fear not, they also have normal sized portions for less competitive eaters. They have 3 kinds of Tabasco on the table(regular, Jalepeño, and Chipotle) which is just awesome to me. One table is designated the Geezer table so that should give you an idea of the fun atmosphere here. When my father in law was here once before, he was being his normally good natured trouble maker for the waitress. He is never a problem, mind you, but he was there at one time in his life and just tries to have fun with the wait staff. Normally they just smile and chuckle, but his waitress gave as good as she got and soon everyone was laughing openly. At one point he was ribbing him about something so she came over and pretended to strangle him. Not to worry, this is all in fun and that is how the whole staff acts, like you are having fun with family. This time as tables were leaving, several groups got hugs from their waitress. It is more like a family reunion at this place than a restaurant. The menu items are very reasonably priced($ 3.50 for a kid’s cheese burger with steak fries) and they have a pretty good variety. Décor is very much like reminiscing with family too. Pictures of old trains, planes, and automobiles line the walls. Food quality is great too. Everyone at our table left fat and happy. I will say, the family atmosphere goes maybe a little too far. It took a while for us to pay after we got done, and my wife was waiting at the register for a while. Also could have been better about checking water because it was hot and humid out and we needed lots. One final note, coffee tasted odd. Not like their was anything wrong with it, but I didn’t like it very much. Maybe it was decaf, because I can always taste the difference. Not a deal breaker though. Overall, still loved this place and we will be back!
