I Came here by myself, because I live right behind it and am new to Spokane. I was not disappointed with my food. I got the corned beef sandwich, and could only eat half. I got to take the rest home. I was a little confused on the theme of this restaurant when trying to it. I probably would not have come in if it was more clear. It was quiet and the waiter only talked to me once. Overall, I enjoyed my food not so much the rest. I hear the breakfast foods are to die for. And, they cook the food in front of you.

Good spot for a big breakfast. Their food usually hits the spot. Beware however, if you show up 10 – 20 minutes before they close in the afternoon they will rudely turn you away. That’s not how you do good business. Most places will seat tables until the stated closing time. Also, they close at 2pm on sunday not 3 pm as stated on thier hours.

Very good. I had a bacon cheeseburger. Waitress was very nice. Good family place and reasonable prices.

I feel a lot of nostalgia for this place, as I used to sit at the counter while it was at UCity and drink Green Rivers. The food is exactly what you’d expect for a little diner. Great burgers, and their breakfast is awesome!

Food was bomb. Prep chef Vaughn is hot. If you’re a single lady(or man) and wanting to mingle… Go to Hogans and ask for Vaughn.

Wow! Incredible service from our waitress(Katie) who was efficient and smiled at every table, to the chef(Alex) who personally delivered my toast! The food was great! We’ll be back!

We waited literally an HOUR for our food, which was good, but no better than Denny’s.

Good food, breakfast is awesome. Price is average, staff are very nice. I had a large scramble, the usual breakfast ingredients– sausage, back, eggs, potatoes.

Great little diner. My burger was pretty good and was prepared right in front of me in their open kitchen. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Great diner with the classic diner styles with red and chrome abounding in the décor. Although located in a strip mall in Lincoln Heights(what’s not in a strip mall on the South Hill), it has the feel of your quaint, but hip, neighborhood joint from small town America. For breakfast, I had eggs Benedict, which is what I always try in order to fairly gauge the quality of food at a new place I’m trying. The hollandaise sauce was just the right amount and the right consistency. Ham was good, but I like a thicker slice. Eggs over easy rather than poached. English muffin lightly toasted. Altogether it met my standards as a well-prepared good breakfast. The ambiance is great and it is a good place to take your kids.

I live in CDA so Hogan’s isn’t exactly in the neighborhood but I make it to the south hill several times a month. The cool retro décor is a perfect time warp back in time to the era of old school diners. Being evening, my buddy got the mushroom & Swiss burger with fries while I got loaded breakfast item recommended by our fabulous server Christina H. She was very helpful in menu item selection and made for the end of a fun evening! Give her a raise! Caution: some menu items could easily feed two!

Cool retro theme, terrible service. Staff were put out to even help us. Food quality I would compare the breakfast to IHOP. Definitely a thumbs down.

We went to breakfast. Had eggs bacon hash browns and pancakes. Nothing too exciting. Similar to the Chalet but had better toast then just wonderbread. Pancakes weren’t great either. Was packed and usually crowded but will have to try it again some day.

Great food, great service, cute ambiance, excellent consistency. I don’t like Hershey’s syrup or the ReddiWhip on the milk shakes though.

Excellent food and service! Came to shop at Trader Joe’s next door and was enticed by the hand made milkshakes I saw being made through the window. Hogan’s did not disappoint! Excellent burger with a delicious shake and flawless service. Will be back!

Great breakfast grill and excellent food. The Hogans florentine has an excellent red pepper hollandaise sauce. Pancakes are hot off he grill! Add as much syrup and you like… all the breakfasts are made to order and look great! Chef rakes his job seriously

We had a terrible experience here on a Saturday around 1pm. We’ve been in before and had a great time, so not sure what to make of it. We found the last table available, sat down and were greeted with waters and menus. Then another gal brought us more water. That is when the good service ended. After 10 minutes of being completely ignored and watching other customers waiting for their food we got up and left. No one even noticed. Very odd and disappointing.

Been going here since 2009. Had the massive Shotgun Willie, which is about your full day’s worth of calories! Waitresses were prompt and super nice! Cheap to eat(hey it’s a diner!) and will go back. The people who faces this place bad reviews probably hate freedom. ‘Merica
