Well nothing like coming to Outback and begin the meal with extremely slow service. Excuses galore. A blooming onion that took 37 minutes to bloom. We were one of only two tables in the bar area with people even at it. Then to our special meal that included severe vomiting and food poisoning after consuming the spoiled fish that was served to me. I could not have gotten sicker. I very politely the next day called Outback to warn them of my food poisoning. The manager on duty was very nice and apologetic. He then offered me a gift certificate to return and said he would check on their fish supplies and make sure no one else would get food poisoning. The mail must be very slow from this Division location as a couple of months have gone by and I still do not have those promised coupons. Slow service, food poisoning, and failed promises do not exactly encourage me to spend my $ 75 at this location for a meal.

Met a group of girlfriends here last week. The table of them were waiting for me when I arrived. We had a server named Parker. I must say it was one of the most memorable dining experiences I have had. The food was great… we ordered family style and shared our generous helpings of food. We had a wedge salad, chicken wings, cheese fries, steak quesadilla, and a blooming onion. All were very good and filled us up. Yet upon my suggestion I had to try the thunder from down under, and it did not disappoint either. Food is food, but I feel that the service received says a lot of a restaurant, and it was not to disappoint. We had Parker, who was relatively new to that restaurant, yet, he gave the best service. We did not wait for a thing, he was prompt and attentive to our needs. Better yet, he was fun to tease and he kept right up with us. We are high school friends that don’t get a chance to see each other often enough(36 years of knowing each other). We had fun playing with him to get his goat, and he kept up with the best of us. It was wonderful to see a restaurant allow it’s employees to have a sense of humor while still keeping it professional. If you go in, ask for Parker, he will not disappoint, as his service was superior. The food was fantastic but wonderful to have great service as well, The Thunder from Down Under just topped it all off, and we will be back…

Very disappointed! I’m a slow learner and have been here three times thinking the time before was just an aberration… Not so! Each visit was progressively worse. I’ll not go to Outback again. Service was slow with lots of excuses(«sorry, you’ll have to wait to get your bill, the credit card machines are backed up»… REALLY?) Food was a huge disappointment. It was cold and over cooked. Bad quality… Just not enjoyable at all. Prices have skyrocketed! If the food is good you won’t hear this from me too much. As I said earlier, this isn’t just a one visit review. I’m not one to give«one star» ratings but this Outback deserves it.

The worst dining expierance I have ever had in an outback steakhouse. Our service was slow, 46 minutes from sitting until receiving our food. We had ordered a blooming onion, which arrived burnt, greasy, mildly warm to the touch, and greasy. It had sat under a warming lamp long enough for a film to form on the sauce. It was overpriced for the lackluster service, and subpar steak.

I used to come to this location all the time and the food and service was great. I’m not sure what happened in the last 3 years since I came here but it’s very disappointing. Positives: the ambiance is still the same, quirky«down under» theme with the stuffed crocodile on the ceiling. The waitress who served us was friendly, on point, professional and enjoyable to talk to. We were served drinks and bread promptly and were given a decent amount of time to choose a meal. The negatives: the menu seems to have changed and has gotten shorter, with less items available for under $ 15 and more for over $ 18. It was hard to find something that wouldn’t run two people a $ 50 bill at the end of the meal but we managed it. My fiancé ordered an appetizer which was a cedar grilled shrimp skewer and I ordered a simple cheese burger and fries and even then the bill still came out higher than lunch at Tomato Street! The food was not 5 stars, I asked for my burger to be cooked with no pink in the middle and it came back pink and had it sent back. My fiancé’s shrimp was cold but they ate it anyway because they were really hungry and we really did not want to heckle the waitress and stay longer than necessary. My fries tasted like the oil they were cooked in and had no salt on them. Once the burger came back cooked proper it was tasty and reminded me of how Outback used to be. It was very pleasant but everything else was just a disappointment. Too expensive for the quality you get, not enough price diversity — bottom line. Maybe we will come back and if we get a better experience and if things have changed I’ll leave another review.

Service was slow. Garlic mashed potatoes had very little flavor. Steak was good, but that was the only positive thing. We’ve eaten here before but the food and service has gotten worse in the last 6 months. Not sure what is going on. Will think twice before going here again.

They have a new menu, probably to reflect higher prices. The food isn’t bad but it’s too hot in here. Don’t they believe and air-conditioning? not exactly a comfortable dining experience. I feel bad for the waiters. I see them scrambling about carrying food and I can see the perspiration dripping from their faces. I feel bad that they have to work in such poor conditions. And management doesn’t even attempt to give any explanation or apologies. I don’t think I ever want to come back here again unless They can fix their air conditioning system. Get the food is good, the service is pretty good, but the climate is just unreasonable.

Some friends decided to take me to this location for my birthday. I really wish that they wouldn’t have. There were three of us. We ordered the Coconut Shrimp appetizer, which they overcooked. Two of us ordered the Prime Rib, and my other friend ordered the Filet Mignon. My friend who ordered the Filet and I sent ours back. Mine was too rare, and hers was overcooked. My other friend decided not to send hers back, but it was slightly overcooked. Our dinner was brought back. Mine was slightly overcooked this time, and they gave my friend a sirloin instead of the Filet Mignon that she ordered. We pointed this out to the waitress who was very gracious and got us the manager. When we pointed out that they gave her a sirloin instead of a Filet, he became defensive and rude and said that«he has worked there for 20 years and knows the difference between a filet and a sirloin, and commented on the marks on it. If they jack hammered it for 10 minutes maybe it possibly could have been, but we all actually know what a filet looks like. If you worked in that industry for 20 years you should be able to tell the difference between a filet and a sirloin. Not to mention he came back out with oven gloves to talk to us. I just couldn’t believe that he actually stood there and argued with us. The food was bad, the customer service was atrocious. Thanks for ruining my birthday dinner. I would recommend any place but this one to eat. I am just so disappointed. The only reason that I gave it one star was because there was no way to post without giving it one.

I wish I could sue this outback location for their bad food! My husband ordered the prime rib and he thought it tasted«disgusting» I tried it and thought the same thing! Without complaining(we aren’t the type) the waitress noticed he was unhappy and the manager brought him a new one which I didn’t try but he said was much better. However, we both got home and got food poisoning from that first BAD prime rib. I worked for outback while in highschool back in federal way, that outback was good but this experience has ruined outback for life! Don’t eat here or you will hate yourself for it later when your shitting and puking your guts out!

Came here expecting a good hearty meal. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. The food was good quality. But it could not make up for the fact it was served cold at our table. I have never had this happen at an Outback Steakhouse before. I summoned the waitress and asked her to warm it up. Unfortunately this made my prime rib well done, but the potatoes were hot. Surprisingly, before I could finish them, they were cold again. It wasn’t like we were in a cold environment, but my plate was cold. Other places warm the plate so as to not chill the hot food. I spoke to the manager who came out to greet us, and mentioned this to her. She seemed receptive and perhaps there will be some changes. I liked the location and ambience of the establishment, but good food served at the wrong temperature is not good. I don’t live in Spokane, so I will not return. I don’t know if my dad and his wife will come back to this Outback either. (visit was November 23 mid afternoon)

Before I moved to Spokane — I went to Outback Steakhouse all the time in Seattle areas and always loved going there. I moved to Spokane about a year ago — I wanted to come here and my boyfriend was like«what? are you kidding me? that place sucks balls» and I m like ‘no way — i went there all the time in Seattle” … A year later — I guess he got tired of me asking and we decided to go there. We were immediately turned off but the attitude of the hostess, not at all friendly… I don’t think she even smiled once. We decided to order a burger for myself and grilled chicken on a barbie for him. Both the burger and the chicken were very dry… we had it returned. Presentation was bad too. Once we got new ones, they still were mediocre. my boyfriend liked the BBQ sauce that came with his, though. We were disappointed overall. When I went to the bathroom I took a glance on other people’s food and they all looked terrible. I couldn’t believe this was Outbacks… At the end, they surprised us with a brownie and ice cream dessert to make up for the«dry» food — which was nice but I wish they would have offered it first because 1. I don’t like chocolate and 2. We’re trying to watch what we eat. lol, it would have been better if we got a discount on our bill. but no we didn’t, we got a chocolate-y dessert that we couldn’t really enjoy. We will be not be returning, ever. To this specific location at least, I hear the other locations in town are bad too so I guess not in this town at all. I advise you highly to avoid it, go somewhere else!

Outback over the years has been pretty consistent with their food. The only problem is that its consistently mediocre. Now, they don’t even serve honey butter with their bread, which by the way is the best part of the meals here. I had the prime rib which was ok, but nothing spectacular. The sweet potato that came with it was under cooked also. The standard house salad was the same with the spicy ranch dressing saving it somewhat. Overall, this place is ok to come to if you are in a steak mood pinch, but there are other much better places for the same price. I would have given this place a two if it weren’t for the service, which was on point. ****no military discount****

I have lost faith in this Outback location. This is the second and LAST time I will walk out of this restaurant. The waitress was in no rush to grab simple waters and had to be prompted to bring the bread. By that time we had looked at the menu and noticed all of their steak entrees had drastically increased in price. I asked her when this price hike occurred, to which she was oblivious, but added new menus came out today(7÷7÷14). Now an 8oz prime rib is 18.99, 12oz 21.99 and 18oz is nearly $ 30. Even their baseline Outback Special is now outrageously priced. A 12oz ribeye was 29.99! For the record, the same in a grocery store is only around $ 8(Yoke’s). An astronomical and absurd markup! They’re not Churchill’s or Clinkerdagger and if I were spending money on the new Outback menu prices I would rather go to the aforementioned establishments. As it stands, we opted to walk back out and are headed to the grocery store to pick up our own steaks to grill.

The food was pretty good considering this place is packed and the focus seems to be on fast and getting quantity of people in and out. The steak was prepared okay, cooked a little over done and not seasoned enough. The appetizers were good.

I take one star off because I noticed this place was horribly understaffed for the amount of people in there. The wait staff did the best they could to make sure everybody was taken care of, however. Aside from that, the food was very good as I have come to expect from this chain.

I would describe the overall experience as very disappointing. We were seated in the bar and waited about 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Somehow I just have an expectation of getting drink service in the bar within a few minutes. There seemed to be plenty of servers available as they walked by our table several times. Our server was very friendly, but in the end I just have an expectation for better service. We ordered the shrimp on the barbie and again I would say not like it used to be. We ordered a filet and a ribeye. I will say the steak was still decent. However, the experience was just so bad that it overshadowed the steak. Overall the interior just seemed dated, worn out and dirty. There are so many good options and this one just feel short. I doubt we will be back anytime soon.,

This is the worst Outback I’ve been too. The witnesses act like the last thing on earth wanted to do is be helpful or happy. Didn’t change the channel on the tv even after she said she would. Our food came out so slow even when they had less than 10 people dinning. WORST service I’ve had in awhile. I love that food and that is the only reason I gave it two stars.

It’s all OK, but we will probably not be back. Service is slow, employees are not cheery. The food is coming next, lets see how that goes. Very cold and a long wait. All done with this place… Take my advice, go someplace else !!! And fast…
